5 Reasons why people ignoring Toyota Hyryder 

I am driving Hyryder G-neodrive since June 2023. Its a 4 cyl version. I don't feel any lack of power. 1. Sunroof is European climate only. I have never opened it on my Honda City for 5 years. 2. Getting 15LMPL in Gurgaon region with AC on. 3. On Highway I get 19 KMPL. Cons: 1. Boot space could be better.

I don't understand why sunroof is required , it's just a hip

Very much informative video. I was using creta and was fully satisfied. What was lacking was I invested 17L for the vehicle and I was getting 13+ mileage. For running 13 kms i need to spend 110rs. Now I purchased Hybrid and gets about 26+. Same petrol price but I can travel double the distance. I am using this vehicle on city where Features like Adas and turbo engines are useless. So I opted this vehicle and found pocket friendly. Interiors are not that bad. But can say 7.6 marks out of 10 when comparing to competitors.

Maruti learns to Toyata how to cut quality and downgrade his value in India. Less Torque is too risker in uphill driver. So i chaged my buying dexeaion from toyota hyrider. Very informative video

I m driving Toyota U C Hyryder G Neodrive automatic transmission ( TC ) since may 2024. Overall outstanding performance of Hyryder G Neodrive AT (TC). On road price approx 18.00 lakhs . I got delivery within no time as this version was per chance readily available at that time in Toyota Showroom S K Chandigarh

I was looking to buy a Hyryder Strong Hybrid. But, after that I took the test drive. I am no longer interested due to four primary reasons: Less boot space, sun roof mesh, back row less head space (I am 6ft) and even if I go for the base version without sun roof, there are not enough features available. Im using CNG Variant. I have driven 45K Km in last 12 months. If u are thinking need to chases every car's in the road then the power is not enough. I have driven almost all the hill station in kerala & tamil nadu. My personal opinion It have a pretty good power cos it's 4 cylinder engine . I accept the build quality of interior & body quality is poor . Rest everthing is perfect.

Toyota's reliability can't beat creta and seltos.Both creta/seltos has no road presence and possess low ground clearance.Sunroof has no practical utility.Most of the youtuber don't understand basic requirement of a car.As per Indian road conditions vehicle should possess high ground clearance,high torque, good ride quality, petrol with manual transmission . Also best road presence matters which most of the car lack.

My reason is none of these. Long waiting period that do NOT make sense for me as a Buyer. I have booked NeoDrive from two separate dealers; the waiting period quoted was 10-12 months, and the dealers are NOT giving any status of my Queue.. I will cancel them and go for CRETA up on its launch. Toyota keep on increasing the price keeping us waiting in the queue.

When I booked, they said 1.5 years but deliverd within 7 months

I have booked for Hyrider and got allotment. But Going for Creta as it looks premium and awesome ride. Hyrider doesn’t have ADAS, quality of 360 camera is poor and quality of speakers also not comparable. Another aspect is when we talk about mileage, we are not taking to consideration the cost of the battery replacement. Hence Creta is far. A better option.

This car is amazing & practical without hybrid and Sunroof....more SUV feel than creta & seltos. Ground clearance ,seat comfort, spacious cabin, Mileage ,build quality and service are excellent ....I have purchased recently and feeling awesome❤

The engine is much stronger than what the engine bhp depicts because the power that comes from the battery is not taken into account here

out of 100% who are not buying it, about 40-50% of them, don't want to wait an year for the Hybrid. Now if we keep aside all other negatives, and if we count the interests, Hybrid has more demand and the demand for Toyota and Grand Vitara car's are closer to Hyundai/Kia cars (YoY only). Despite of the facts of the low cost interiors and low powered engine, Toyota's trust and after service quality is much better than the Korean twins. Believe it or not that's the truth. Premiumness cannot compete with the amount of money spent on fuel and peace of mind.

Booking period is long thats why people are going for another options

You are giving wrong info. Power for hybrid is 115 ps. You need to say combined system power. Seem like u want to downgrade the vehicle ... Else u wud have said it... Nobody s ignoring ... GV having good sales. Toyota sales impacted due to waiting period.

Most probably this Banda who has posted this video is an employee of Kia or Hyundai. Inspite of very long delivery period the sales growth is 35 % of this vehicle yoy.

Rear seat headroom is not a problem in Neo drive, even for 6 footer. Quality of plastics and interiors are far better than Innova hycross.

Why people go for Korean alternatives which are even worse? Kushaq / Taigun are 100 times better especially the 1.5 L engine with ACT technology. If you drive that engine once, you will never like any other car, I can guarantee in writing! Also please look at MG hector if you want more space than Kushaq / Taigun. All other cars are waste. Tata makes bad engines and that nexon looks like a cab! Mahindra XUV or Scorpio look good buy they have engines and their mileage in city drive is poor. So if you drive around 60 km per day in city in my opinion is a 1.0 TSI kushaq. Manual is much cheaper while the automatic works best for city traffic. However a car driver would be pleased by the 1.5L manual. Think 5 times before you buy, put the maths on a paper with cost of ownership and bargain with dealer on best price. Kushaq and Taigun will get delivered quickly, dont go by the hype or media, trust your brain and heart. People who own a Gran Vitara will never be able to understand why the TSI engines of Skoda / VW are extremely efficient engines in the world.

Only one teason unreasonable waiting period. Because total 19000produced a month, total for Grand vitara and Hyrider...this is much less than the booking number. I had to wait 6 months, (that too after fighting and escalating to Toyota)even when i booked in 2022 Dec. Later the waiting period for mild hybrid was 1year or more...toyota gets only 6000units and 13000 goes to Grand vitara... If it was readily available this would have bcome top selling. Because of mileage, and cabin space, and look. Their focus in selling full hybrid which is over prised, also a reason for long waiting period for mild hybrid

That's not true. We have the same hybrid top model v hybrid. It has toyota engine in top model. How can you compare hybrid with turbo.

There is no comparison buying any automatic or Cvt drive SUV in India which will give 12-13 mileage whats fun to drive means??? When you are spending hell out of you money on filling petrol. . I own a hybrid hyrder saala mileage dekh ke paise wasool ho jaatey hain.. there is no competition at all a big Suv covering total running cost atleast 40 percent less including Emi if any so where is the comparison bhai.. this is for people who wish for a bigger Suv but cant afford the monthly cost ab ise range rover se compare karogey to definitely it will bow down but creat seltos Elevate taigun kisi se bhi compare karogey to isko koi chu bhi nahi sakta

are you belive this ? my friend have Kia seltos diesel 2019, and he drive always roughly ! 80000 km drived ! and suspension is still good as a new !! and I have maruti ciaz vdi + , same 80000 km , and always drive by care , it’s take 2 times suspension works in this period! a huge difference of spares quality , now I m planning to buying Kia seltos 💪 !! The reason of Maruti top selling is small cars they have , otherwise there is nothing to be a owner of Maruti , if you are ready to spend 10 lakh plus !!

This overall is not a Toyota. Toyota has to be better/best in everything. This looks like a somewhat better Maruti. Toyota has to stop this stop gap arrangement and using cheap parts. The fit and finishing is not like a Toyota. Even the engine. The bonnet inside looks so shabby. Nothing is nearly done in there. I was actually interested in buying the V Neodrive. But after watching this video it’s a big no no. By the way I drive a Polo GT and was under impression that this car would have solid built quality and other things nearing to a VW. But guess what, just giving features does not mean it an over all good car. Pretty much disappointed.

At this price point, you can purchase your Honda City eHEV with great premiumness in the car.

When seltos, creta, scorpio n able to deliver 10k vehicles per month.. Why hyrider is only able to deliver 3k vehicles.. Seems shorting stock and showing more demand than actual
