Especially now at the change of the seasons in Norway. I have few cameras too many, but three is a good number. Edc x10, x100v when I feel like it. And my Canon for some photo jobs. Nice! How much did cost the lens replacement? I have one x10 that I use, and second one in Mint condition for safekeeping 😊

Hi! Every camera takes pictures, but sometimes I believe less is more. I bought the x10 when I had another break from photography/videography. My pro cameras gathered dust and I felt like beside some snapshots with my smartphone I am done with photography. Got it without any expectations and loved it from the first few images. Many times I idealize this camera, but it's far from perfect, and maybe like you said outdated tech, and just joy of the process with the limitations it presents. Happy shooting! :)

You are absolutely right! X10 have many downsides, or as I call it limitations. Mostly I shoot also on Iso 400 and DR 400. Then jpgs are more flexible. My pro cameras are in the drawer for now, My video might sound like x10 is the best camera in the world but I know its not true, it just work for me. Raws are not worth to even shoot. Low light photography probably only with the tripod, handheld with higher iso the pictures looks nice on the back screen, but as soon as you take a look on the pc its noisy and not in my standards. I have a lot of nostalgia for all cameras that I used in the past and Idealise them but did they really took that good pictures or just in my head the experience was better in the beginning of this photography journey? X10 its not perfect either but it is just right for me. Happy shooting! ☺️

The same with me...i was put off because of the orb's etcetera. But in 2022 i saw on RU-vid how good it was...and i bought one ..i was suprised how good it is!

As the logic say every upgrade should be a touch better. I Never tried it. X30 looks little to modern for me and it don’t have optical viewfinder if this is something to be considered. Still not sure if the x20 and x30 have the same sensor like x10. Some better reaserch need to be done on that.

@@TommyNordpole the X30 EVF is actually quite good and as you are seeing what the sensor is seeing it makes using the viewfinder worthwhile (I am a sucker for using a viewfinder rather than a screen, that said the X30 has a tilting screen), it also has built in wifi so you can use the remote camera app to control the camera and download shots, etc. The other big difference is the X30 has selective AF points, as well as face detection AF, and Fuji did tinker with the firmware to give a few more options around camera set and image tweaking. The sensor and processors are the same (so the picture quality is pretty equal, I think they tinkered with the lens but not dramatically)I have actually just got my X30 out of the cupboard this week and am dusting it down to use, yes its form is slightly larger than the X10/X20 and there is a little more weight, but the payback is that the battery life is a bit better, the set up for shooting is more flexible and the EVF is more useable than the OVF on the X10/X20, but both the X10/X20 and the X30 are remarkably good cameras that are often overlooked. Oh and yes, the sensors between the X10 and X20/X30 are different as the latter gets the X trans versus the old EXR sensor this also allowed better phase detection AF rather than just contrast AF, but both were good for their size.

Thanks a lot! Not really… never had that problem, try to ask at some forums, or some camera repair store. Don’t want to give some poor advice that can ruin your camera. This cameras are getting old, in my one the switch for manual focus stopped working 🙃

⁠@@TommyNordpole​​⁠I have the same problem on my X10 and it’s now stuck in manual mode. I have assigned the AEL/AFL back button to AF Lock so that I get to have some sort of autofocus while being in manual mode but it doesn’t work as good as when it is in AF mode. Any advice on what I could do?

Who knows never had X70. I think x70 is newer. What is your experience with it?

@@TommyNordpole Yes, regularly - probably my most used camera. I think I was probably just the demographic that Fuji were aiming the camera at when they brought it out; people with quite a bit of photographic experience, transitioning from film to digital and fairly discerning in their choice of cameras. When I bought the X10 I already had a Nikon D70 and Nikon D200, but the X10 was a very attractive proposition. A high quality compact camera that pretty much ticked all the boxes - within its limitations. Of course, I bought a Fujifilm X-E1 when that came out too! Probably my second most used camera.

I was thinking about X-E1, or X-M1 I don’t know when digital cameras stoped improving, the megapixel race, then video resolution race, everyone needs are different especially for professional use. I think this camera will stay with me for a longer while. I thought the X100V will be my next lover but I don’t feel it yet. Thank you and happy shooting! 😊

@@TommyNordpoleAn X-E2 would be a better choice than both the X-E1 or the X-M1, though that's not to say that the X-E1 isn't a good choice too.

I own X100V for a year already, that video was more of some personal thought in a way thinking “Less is More” or Older cameras are not so far behind the new ones. Actually I start to enjoy X100V more and more, and start to think X100VI could really nice. Cheers ✌️😊

@@chrisbusby4395 I agree, Its just a personal opinion. X10 is only 12 Mpx. Of course there is a huge gap between this cameras. And they are made for different type of photographers. Its full of limits, but do the job really well. I also enjoy both cameras on a different days! :) Cheers✌️😊
