One area Mazda excels is consistent, small panel gaps. Their Hofu plant (where CX-90 comes from) has got down to 2.5mm gaps which is uncommon even among luxury brands. Lexus the king of panel gaps is usually 3mm. Most mainstream non luxury are around 4mm and Tesla at one stage has as much as 6mm (although inconsistent). Each mm of reduction is a massive undertaking. The CX-5 was a consistent 3.5mm coming out of Hiroshima. So to get to 2.5mm is incredible. Rare for BMW and Mercedes getting this low in all but their top end German manufactured vehicles.

I watch almost every videos about the CX90 and kind of getting overwhelming with only showcasing in red and white colors. I don't know why they're not showcasing all the color lineup. It's a very attractive SUV for sure, if you love BMW X5 but not want to pay the German price then this CX90 is the perfect choice.

Agreed, and their website is not very helpful in sampling the actual colors. Their "build your own" webpages show the vehicle in a poorly lit room, making it difficult to determine what the actual color is. I mean, black, white are self-explanatory and artisan red is the most favored (in their videos), but I'd like to see their blue and machine grey in bright sunlight. Great video in explaining what the CX-90 is all about though! 👍🏻

@@robertmurdock7530 I got my CX90 Signature yesterday and the Crystal blue mica is amazing, People keep asking if it blue or black, very cool. The interior also beautiful with white leathers and cool dash. The ride quality is very comparable with BMW X5, maybe not sound like the X5 but very close for much cheaper and probably more reliable when it getting older.

I am hearing on some reviews that the CX90 seats are too firm for long drives. Can any owners of the CX90 comment on this. Also not as much front legroom as the Pathfinder. Would this be problematic for a tall driver say 6ft 5in.

It's seems like a compilation of stock footage from other channels. Tell-tale sign: the driver is talking through the VoiceOver.

The interior is just not large enough for an ideal three-row SUV that can carry full size adults in the third row. It makes more sense to wait and look at the upcoming CX70 if a decent third row foot space and seat height are not an absolute need. For me,a shopper who need a practical third row for full size adults to sit comfortably for a reasonable distance, I am forced to look else where… probably the Lexus TX is a more practical and suitable option for that priority. And for the handling and power and all the fun factors the CX90 tries to deliver, I will see if I can find them in the CX70.

As a former Mazda owner, I will say the driving dynamics rival the German brands, but don't expect the same fit and finish of German brands, the doors shutting sounds very cheap compared to the likes of Mercedes, but if you don't think price difference merits owning a German brand car nor is the brand factor not a priority, than Mazda is the right answer
