I stick to first reason. Tried to think of a meaning behind my first tattoo, but at some point I understood, that I just like, how it looks, so what the hell. I will just enjoy wearing it!
Don't just listen to just 1 RU-vidr about tattoos. There are dozens of different views on tattoo ideology. That way u could make up your own style of tattoo ideology by watching different views.
The animal soul wants a tattoo for all the selfish reasons that you mentioned. The Divine soul that resides in your brain wants the animal soul to serve God by doing good & not getting a tattoo. Your purpose in life is to allow your Divine soul train to your animal soul into serving God and to refrain from selfish causes.
Oh. My. God. I'm currently 19 and thinking about getting a tattoo. I'm just browsing on youtube and I find your channel. I look at the comments, somehow I think "hmm stylethecat.. that sounds familiar". Click on her channel. Then it hits me: I watched her videos like FIVE FCKNG YEARS AGO. She was the only fricking german youtuber with short hair and after finding her five years ago, I finally decided to cut my hair short too! Everything really comes full circle huh...

I used to have a high pain tolerance. Then I hurt my spine and took pain killers for four to five years. It seemed to affect my tolerance for pain immensely. Even now, with six years of no pain meds, my tolerance is still shit. Maybe that's one of the many negatives to pain medication. Add it to the list lol. Seriously, fuck opioids! (or opiates, whatever the right way of saying it is) I was going in such a positive direction in life before my injury. I think that is why I want tattoos. I heard it's cathartic and a good way to move on from things. Also, i just like them.

Been a little over a year since you convinced me to get my first tattoo, and it ended up being a half sleeve! And now I'm thinking of getting another half sleeve done but am unsure if that would look alright. Thoughts? And thanks again!
Got my first tattoo to commemorate my pet dog as we sadly had to re home her. And I do really want to get another tattoo as I like the process of getting a custom tattoo.
Quick question! That red on your arm, was that done in just one session or did your artist have to go over it a couple times to get the red that vibrant?

Some of my tatts have meaning some don't some tattoos of mine that has no meaning i just love the designs & colours , no 2 . I'm a tattoo lover i love tattoos & pain lol lmao lmfao . I really want to get a tattoo of a closing chapter of my life, but I’m absolutely shitting myself when I think about the pain because I have the lowest pain tolerance in the whole world. Is the pain worth it?
If you like the artwork enough, I'd say the pain is worth it. Maybe just get something really small, so you can see how it feels, and go from there. I know a lot of people that go big their first time and end up with only an outline done, or partial work, because the pain hurts so bad that they never get around to finishing it.

@@RiseRealmRR God gave us our body to have this human experience. It is a gift. It is ours and not anyone elses. When we die we leave it behind so why does it matter so much? Why can't we live in it the way we see it is best for US? Something to think about. Humans did it for thousands of years in every part of the world. It is not an unnatural thing, it is in our nature. We change our outside to stimulate an inner change. I am not saying everyone uses tattoos in this way or that everybody shoud do it. I'm just saying if you want the experience DO IT. It hurts no one (exept yourself haha).If the permanent nature of it scares you, fine then don't do it. But some (or most) people just can't seem to let go of what others do. Live and let others live.
