the big difference is the model for the 1592 is based on the volvo excavator. but the major difference is that the 580 is all metal and the tracks are all metal as well. the 1592 is plastic tracks and has a main body that moves to much when there is a load on the bucket from videos I have seen. it is also a little stronger i believe than the 580. that being said I would still go for the 580 as it has more parts available and mods too. you can convert it to hydraulic pretty easily and has more weight to it. but if you are looking for a volvo body then the 1592 is the model to go with. I just prefer all metal to a plastic machine.
you are going to love it. just make sure to turn off the sound and smoke unit to save battery. most people's smoke unit stop working but if you have the V4 model you will like it even more since it curls the bucket more and has a little more power.
I just ordered the Tong Li equivalent, I have been comparing these all metal units a while. Basically all made by Huina but the one most readily available in my area is the Tong Li branded version. Either way I am SUPER stoked to get this, looking forward to so real digging. New MoBo and the 3 implements, should be a blast.
I have one and I got mines for $380... it’s my best friend I love this machine and it really digs n I’ve posted videos of me digging in my backyard and I love crushing insects wit it.. lol 😂
For a toy or novelty it's not bad...but for the price..dropping down that much coin it should be hydraulic and in a kit form. Unless someone just wants to play with it and not care about the maintenance aspect of the hobby. It's a nice looking machine though and I'm sure it's alot of fun for the person looking for a toy. I'm not knocking anyone who has one because I know not everyone wants to drop $3K down on a toy if they just wanna play once in a while. But if anyone wants a serious model there are much better options available.. it's a known fact that in this r/c hobby...you get what you pay for. I wouldn't want anyone steered in the wrong direction and end up dissapointed on its limitations.
I was fooled for a second when you showed it in action digging in the sand, lol. I start to wonder if they could make bigger RC excavators for fun AND for real work...
Yes it can dig in sand dirt or even hard packed dirt. Pretty strong machines. When you add hydraulics to it then it can dig even harder dirt. There are even bigger machines that are 1/12 scale.
hey what'up dude is awesome video excellent👌work so yeah you right about the excavator she is very nice and strong but there is 1 problem the problem is the smoking box it does not long l😂l very beautiful video anyway thx bud
Thanks for the great comment. I have heard many people complain about the smoke. To be honest I dont use it because the real machines dont smoke. And if they do then there are bigger problems. 😬
@@RCConstructionHobby yeah bud that what's 👍 i have huina excavator v.2 she is very nice but the smoking box is broke after 4 days damn bad day l😂l so do you have wheel loader from huina is strong 2 but she needs suspention on the rear axial and she needs long arms and she needs fast steering ...if you want my advice you must buy rc4wd wheel loader earth mover hydraulic she move like a real machine and powerful💪💪💪
I would not run a 3s on the stock setup. With upgraded parts and esc's yes. Or if you went hydraulic. I believe the motors in the servos are rated at 2s Nd you would burn them up.
There are 2 ways to look at this. First is that the excavator comes already finished and ready to run. So that is a big benefit for most people who are not savvy at making things. On the other hand making it gives you more satisfaction and you know how it was built and a sense of accomplishment. It will end up costing more as the lathe is one price but the electronics and material will end up costing more. So either way there are both options for you.
It's a good model but the downside is that they have shit toy motors in them that power the gears, I've had to replace the brushes in the motors many a time because they wear out quickly
Love the video and thank u for it...I recieved my 580 last weekend, but please tell me u didn't pay 750 for it..I know they're worth it but on Ebay??? 350 cheaper, same thing u got
Hey Curtis, I paid about $670 CDN. so $490 US. this was a last year. I think they are much cheaper now. I bought mine from Banggood at the time which was the cheapest I could find. Glad you got one! enjoy it they are a lot of fun.
time ohh...ok..u r right..the fun part is learning how to operate it..I'm trying to get it down packed like you...lol..luv your page and I'm spreading the word
There are many upgrades you can do to this machine... like converting it to hydraulics, or upgrading the electronics to work smoother. Most of the info you can find on some of the facebook groups. That is where you can get details. I made a video on how to convert this to hydraulics. Check out my Playlist
Here is the problem I am having .... I love that the 1580 is all metal, and the price is perfect, i have no problem with it ... BUT, I like the look of the 1594 a hell of alot more :( The 1594 has metal tracks, and bucket ... but i think the cab and arms are plastic :( DAMNIT! So do I buy the 1580 and be happy its all metal ... or by the 1594 which i love the look of, and try and ignore its plastic ... help!
That is a tough decision. To be honest if you like the way the 1594 looks then go for that. They both work the same way. But if you are really worried about all metal. That are conversion kits for the 580 to make it hydraulic if you want metal or more power.
Great question. Yes I would. Especially the newest version which I believe is the v3. I bought mine from wuehlbox.com. no issues with it and is more scale and looks and works better.
I’ve had this machine for bout 2 months n already the left controller stick sticks n sometimes the lower arm won’t react n also my smoke maker went bad already!! Not happy bout that but it does dig n it’s strong n I suggest buying a btr longer lasting battery
Thanks for the great comment. I have also experienced the same issue with the left stick and bucket not curling properly but that is because i modified the stops on the bucket curl. Its not a perfect machine but for the money what else would compare? there is a company that you can buy a hydraulic mod for which would be my next upgrade. Magom is the company. check them out. they are from Spain.
There is a plastic part between the gear of the servo and the Spindel, open it, put some strong glue in and you never ever have problem again. To it to all two spindels
What's the difference between this and the wltoys 16800 because I can get the wltoys without attachments for £159 and get attachments at like £12-£35 and think the wltoys I slightly bigger but both are full alloy but the huina 1580 comes with attachments for like £365 and I think there even cheaper on ali
This is a great question. There are some similarities and differences. First of the wl16800 is not an all metal machine. Only the tracks and bucket are metal. Everything else is plastic. It is very similar in size and the functions are the same. If you are not concerned with it being plastic then go with the wl. Also keep in mind you can always get 3d printed buckets which is a very affordable way to get more attachments. If you are concerned about price but still want a similar machine go with the wl. Hope that answers the question.
@@RCConstructionHobby the huina metal attachments are all metal and fairly affordable max I've seen is the all metal huina scrap claw is like £30 and my local pound shop has the huina crane for £30 and the all plastic but metal bucket huina digger is there to for £30 cheapest I've seen the crane but ideally like the all metal for double the wltoys 16800 what about the difference between the huina articulated front end loaderto the wltoys articulated front end 🤔
@@Lee-At-Green-Pheonix-Rc the loaders i would not know the difference but you can ask that question on the Facebook groups as there are many people who can tell you the difference between both.
@@RCConstructionHobby it did I could get the wl for now then upgrade to huina I've noticed the dump trucks are similar but huina has a metal dump bed and wl has plastic bed be cool so see a vid comparing huina all metal to the wltoys pros and cons of both 👍
The linkage for the bucket come with the quicker coupler. You can get it on amazon or aliexpress. It is the red one which connects direct to the arm. Hope that answers the question. The wide bucket I made from a bruder bucket.
Nope they are the exact same thing. No difference. There differences in the versions. V3 does not have the same movement range as the v4 and also bucket is different.
Hey JB, Yes it does come with a usb charger which then connects to a XT30 connector. the battery is a lipo battery with a XT30 connector and a balance plug. the battery is a 2 cell 2000mah. as for charging I just use the charger that came with it and in about an hour or 2 it is fully charged from half battery. You can connect it to a hobby grade charger if you like. hope that answers the question.
@@ddd228 yes you can put any battery you like in there instead of the one it comes with. I recently converted it to hydraulic and using a 4000mah 2s lipo.
5. reasons why not to buy the Huina 580 and why it is not worth 400/500$. plastic boom mount , plastic turning wiel very poor quality motors,no ball bearings in the motors and have of it is also plastic. The smook machine is very loud, light and sound are not separately so everything is off or on. The boom cables are very stiff so they snap of. it's better to buy the WLtoys 16800 or the Huina 593 1593 and for have of the price and just as good only they are not full metal.
I guess someone is not happy with there excavator? Mine works great and never had an issue. maybe you got one that was not perfect. Hope you get that worked out.
It is getting old and there are a few newer machines. But when I got mine it was really good. But I changed it over to hydraulics shortly after. Much better with hydraulics.
