I bought a Uforce 1000 as a hunting buggy. Got Can Am Renegade to play in the mud, but couldn’t justify spending $20K-$25K for a buggy to get me to and from the deer stand! I love my Cfmoto
We bought a 2018 ZForce 800 ex and are having a blast with it. To stop the squeaky brakes, just get some CRC Disk Brake Quiet, apply it and all that noise will go away like magic. :) - Ross and Julie from Washington State.
Love your comments. Right now I have an Outlander Max 400 I use mostly for moose hunting, but looking at CF Moto Trail SxS. Yep, there are haters for every model, but post 2020 models are getting great reviews. I also relate better to the Canadian perspective. Keep em coming!
All the more reasons to get one. I just got one last week and it’s a beast in the snow but I’m not going to run it into the ground. If something was really wrong with them, I would stay away from them . They are great machines .
I'm around the same miles as you on my 950. I'm a little rough on it now and then. I only hit mud ore water if I half to. And they are definitely good machines. It's 4 wheeling in style as far as I can see. Lol. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
I've been randomly getting ads for cfmoto and wasn't in the market for a quad for myself. I've just not really found anyone with bad reviews that like you said didn't seem like it was from severe abuse. If I decide to buy one I think I really like the 600. Just to cruise around the property with my son.
I don't get the people who buy these atv's (no matter what brand) and sink them in the mud or go though water to the point of almost every vent tube is almost under water. Not to mention where that mud/water creeps into and all the extra maintenance it causes. I know people enjoy it, it's their money and machines but I would never do it to mine.
I have a 2020 UForce 800 and could not be happier. Other brands in my area were 6-8 thousand dollars more and did not come with the extras my machine came with. I did a lot of research before buying it and could not find many people who actually own one talk all the trash some say. I have found most negative comments are coming from people who do not own one and never have.
Wow that's crazy about the negative comments. They are scared and living in fear. They know cfmoto is killing it! If you got haters, you know you're doing something right. I'm very happy with mine as well. 😃
Most that I have seen say that the cfmoto keeps up with all the RZRs . Getting mine next week uforce 1000 . For the price and what you get with it . I will do me well. Stay safe !
My parents had a 500 CF side by side. 2 friends of mine had wheelers by CF. Parents used theirs for gardening and riding around the yard, 180 miles in 3 years the engine let loose. Both friends had 600's, both plagued with non-stop electrical problems. Get what you pay for.
@@cledussnow9507 Ok I have 2 friends with a 2018 and 2019. Very high mileage on both and never had issues. But I've heard 2020 Cfmoto has improved on reliability and quality of their product.
I love everything about my 2019 zforce 800! My only complaint is the access to the engine oil dip stick and filler spot! I guess they make a extended tube and dip stick kit for them. Thanks for your great videos!
If you service your brakes your brake squeal will be gone. Brakes work on vibration The steel plate rubbing on the piston causes the noise. Lubricate that with anti-seize and where the pads sit in the saddle and you’ll be good to go. Lubricate the caliper pins with silicone lube. I already service my brakes on my ATV they don’t squeal at all same brake pads. I have the same brake pads on my Harley they don’t squeal either
My UForce 600 has been excellent. Only had it one year so far, but I'm sold as it was ALOT cheaper than my buddy's 'north star' and runs circles around it. He wishes he could return his, but he'll have to wait to trade it in later.
I cannot find a decent review of a well used cf moto. Both these machines are low mileage. I also keep hearing "if you're not hard on it"- what does that mean? Don't trail ride, stay out of the mud, don't plow snow or tow? The other brands all seem to take pretty serious abuse and keep going, I'd like to know how cf moto will hold up.
So now that I've decided to purchase a can am and not a cfmoto will you still help me out on the trails when you undoubtedly see me broke down!!! Lol. I'm hopefully picking it up this week. It arrived at the dealership last Thursday or Friday. 👍
I bought my cforce 600 touring with plow in late October went hunting with it 3 times.. plowed 3 times not much snow .... now it's been in the shop o er 3 weeks with 26 miles on it making a crazy knocking noise a d re es really high befor it starts moving. So far not so happy with my purchase 😢
Bought a Massimo MSU 850 last year and it’s been in the shop for longer than not. Throttle cable keeps melting and it actually has a CFMotto engine. The clutch blew apart after only 56 miles on it. Totally screwed up when I purchased it
Allot info on the machine we gathered is from your channel. And we bought same one! Also what do you use for RU-vid edit programs were looking for something simple to make more videos for our channel.. thanks and be safe fellow cfmoto rider!
That's cool to hear! I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I do. As for the video editor, I use Camtasia Studio by Techsmith. It's very user friendly. Here is my link: techsmith.z6rjha.net/oe4eEO You only need Camtasia, you don't need Snagit. So don't buy Snagit. If you get Camtasia video editor, let me know and I will direct you to a friends Camtasia tutorial videos where you can learn quickly how to use it. Roland
Great video! Very humorous as well. Love that woodshed! You must be in Ontario. I was set on a Grizzly until Yamaha increased the prices $1000 (Canadian) across the board for 2023 models. And the 2023 models don't have a single change or upgrade over 2022 models. I can get a CFORCE 600 for $5000 less than a Grizzly SE with winch, or a CFORCE 800 for $2000 less than a Grizzly SE with winch. Have you had any experience running tracks on your machines in the snow? I am thinking of getting some Camso tracks when I buy my ATV. Where I live is in Okanagan area of BC and the riding is all up and down mountains. I'm thinking I would have to go with 800 for the extra horsepower.
Hi Gord... yes I'm in Ontario. I understand your frustration about the prices. Cfmoto is cheaper with more options and I hope they stay that way for a long time. lol It sounds to me that an 800 or bigger would be the way to go on the terrain you live on. Those Camso tracks will be great!
Wait and see how it holds up I guess. Time will tell. I'd say if you are an average rider it should last a long time. I have a 2016 Wolverine and so far so good. Don't use it that much so it should last a while.
Ok , 1 love the channel. 2 h7ge reason got same machine.. as this video. You from Canada.. any info on the trails in Birmingham to dumel off highway 50? Looking take a trip to Canada for some good long long winter riding and hate say we know nothing about Canada..thanks in advance!
Really, Theres a big cfmoto dealer in Mississippi called Main Street Cycle. Largest in the USA. CFMOTO has been around over a decade but are really starting to take off now. Big in Europe
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER Well I haven't really gotten to go to any of the big mud rides around here in a few years. When our company rents side by sides for us to use on a big job site most of them are Polaris. I will sure be looking for the CFMOTO's now though.
I Think there great machines but I get an uneasy feeling about buying something like this when a Honda is only a few hundred more ,, in my area a 400 C-force is 7799$ and a 420 Honda is 8499$
I bought my first Cf Moto in September. A 2021 Cforce 500 EPS with a KFI plow. Its a nice machine but I'd like to get a side by side. Something like a Uforce 800 that can plow heavier snow and has a rear bed for hauling wood ect. What are your thoughts on the Uforce 800?
I have a Cfmoto Cforce 1000 and are in the think box for maybe buy a Zforce 950 Sport too i will se but i like the 950 it look's so good and it is very cool. What are your meaning about the 950 sport is it a good mashine you think ? As i have plans to use it all year winter and summer and here in Norway it is winter 7 months a year and cold like in Canada lol
I bought my c-force 500 strictly for a snowplow. Dealer put 50” Moose plow on it before i picked it up and so far it’s a beast in the snow! Tell ya who really loves it… MY NEIGHBORS! I got a whole 19 miles on it now. I just do driveways and sidewalks in my neighborhood. I figure it’ll take me 5 years or so to get enough miles on it to do the 1st oil change. Don’t know if i have to or not but will prolly change oil every year. What else does a old retired guy have to do? I got No regrets buying this!
Been seeing a couple people who have had engine issues among other things and it's making me skeptical on buying one. I was dead set that I wanted one but I've been seeing more and more posts about issues..
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER I'm in 3 of them 👍 I really wish there were more videos on some of the machines like the uforce 600. Not too many mud videos out there either. I'm thinking either the uforce 600 or 1000 now. I was looking more to the zforce but I could use the uforce for alot more things
@@cheddarballs864 I was thinking of a Uforce because I have firewood to move and other chores. But I'm glad I got a machine just for riding. Better suspension. My opinion for what it's worth.
@cheddarballs I bought a Polaris Northstar in 2020. It’s been in the shop more than in my possession. There are always issues with machines regardless of the brand. That aside, I am seriously considering a zforce 800 so we can have more drivers. Thanks for the vids, between you and Redneckgarage I am about to pull the trigger.
brother got a quick ? unrelated to video my new 950 HO ABOUT HALF the time if you stop and go to ease back off i will get a light clunk noise is this normal. ben 20 years since i had a atv with a belt drive couldn't remember if it mad any such noise
Nice review. Reason you might not want CF. (Cheap Four Wheeler) is everything you mentioned. Spend few more grand n buy a Honda. If someone gave you choice between either free.. your gonna pick? As “Brandon” says… come on man…..can’t get behind cheap.. most agree
Looking for a serious review and this isn’t it, that’s great you haven’t had any problems with your but many people have had problems. A 90 day warranty on the products is a joke and let’s face it that atv hasn’t even been broken in yet with less than 200 miles and the side by side doesn’t have a lot of miles either. I don’t care about 3/4 of the stuff you mentioned in this video other than how it performs, from what I know is they use cheap parts and it’s recommended to put in a new clutch shifter or adjust it as soon as you get it. Tons of forums about issues and you saying to ignore all the bad reviews nah I pay attention to them. Easy for the big guys who get sponsors and free products to say they are the best and not give out honesty feedback
I just bought a UForce 600 and I watched a ton of videos on it before I bought it. It had a $2500 rebate plus 0.9% financing and a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty as well as a 5 year power train warranty apparently anything that touches oil. It came stock with a roof and winch which I would have had to buy with either the Polaris, Honda or Yamaha. With the rebate it came in at just over $12k Canadian! How do you beat that. I’m using it mainly for deer hunting and I’m careful with my gear it should last me for a long time! I did add a glass front windshield, rear windshield and half doors for comfort. The $2500 rebate covered some of the extras. Time will tell but I didn’t see one video that knocked it.
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER the brackets that hold the windshield literally snapped off from simply driving it. The small panel down by the left ankle area is cheap and brittle and snapped around the 1 bolt holding it on. Tap and listen to that plastic. The machine guzzles gasoline compared to my 650 CanAm. It’s now got this rattle like metal sound in the gears when at higher rpm. Get what you pay for, I should’ve just dropped $5k more on another canam or just went Yamaha or Honda
I bought a CFMoto quad years ago in the Northern Territory, Australia, used it for hunting pigs and put it through swamps and bogs and just treated it like shit basically. I had no trouble with it mechanically but after a year it looked like it was ten years old, other than that value for money wise it was great. I would buy another one.
@@dirtyboy3222 yeah the plastics just seemed to crack and break really easily. My mate that I hunted with rode a honda quad and put it through all the same stuff and his seemed to be tougher, however his bike was twice the price of mine.
@@dirtyboy3222 I am not sure about mile's I can't remember but I had it for about 4 years and never had a mechanical issue at all. The suspension started sagging pretty bad by the end but like I say it did alot of hard work and another of weight. I am about 110kgs plus 3 bull arab dogs I used to hunt with and the dog crete so was probably carrying a good 220kgs around on the back.
I just bought the 600 I'm kind of thinking I should have just got the 500 Basically the same speed. I'm told the 600 has a nicer ride And I like the looks of the 600 better But for the price deference if I did it again I would probably just get the 500. Either way I am happy with the bike All the accessories you get The price was OK except for the dealer I went to kinda scammed me with the freight they don't tell you about until after you make the purchase I got scammed on freight for everything I bought front bumper back bumper and windshield And they were all in the store already Plus this is Canada so I paid a lot of taxes.
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER Yes it does but nothing to special but you can adjust them. Even has a override button on the handlebars so if you're in low gear with diff lock on you can give it extra gas to get over the opticals I've never seen a wheeler with that before. It has come in handy a few times already.
I love watching cfmoto videos I can’t believe this company actually has people pushing junk lol 😂 You guys should dye your hair it would definitely make cfmoto videos a little interesting
@@FANATICALSIDERIDER I get that you like the machine, but for people who are actually actively looking to get one and want to know the good AND the bad, your video title is very misleading and for someone who doesn't have much free time, i would have preferred to watch a video that actually helped me and was true to the title. Awesome that your posting vids about the vehicle but not as awesome when there are misleading titles.
@@eaj5548 yes it is I guess, I made the video with sarcasm in mind. Honestly I'm really happy with it if that helps. 1300 miles so far and no complaints. I ride it alone mostly and it doesn't let me down. Hope that helps
There is only 1 reason why you should not buy cfmoto. It's made in china. For 40-plus years in life. I have never seen a good quality made in china. It's all hype but it sucks. Japanese brand or US the best.
