5 Reasons You Should Buy Celine 

I love Celine! It was my very first luxury bag purchase before all other fashion houses 6 years ago. My micro luggage is the best bag in my collection.

I am lucky enough to have been purchasing handbags for 30 years from all of the known luxury houses…Hermes, Chanel, Celine, Dior, Fendi, Bottega, LV, Goyard, etc….I would be considered by many to be “old” in this RU-vid “purse porn” community 😂. If quality is a top priority for you, Celine’s is exceptional. I recently wore one of my Celine handbags into two different Hermes boutiques in Paris. Both SAs told me how much they loved my bag 😀

I have heard that Celine is a classy brand with history. I like that it is a French brand, like Chanel and LV and Hermes. I have one Celine bag that I bought in the preloved market. It is a dome shaped bag like the Hermes Bolide. I like the shape of the Bolide but I don't intend to pay that price for such a simple and plain design that you can find anywhere. But I did want a bag having that shape with high quality, not a plastic looking bag that you can find at the supermarket. Then, one day I came accross a Celine dome shaped bag in bright pink leather. It is very pretty and you can tell that the leather is high quality. And because it's preloved and a vintage bag, the price was next to nothing. I'm happy to hear from the comment below that even Hermes sales people are impressed by Celine. Now I can take to Hermes with confidence!

You are correct good brand to look into. I bought one of their canvas mini bag and a chain. i will say for a brand thats not the top 3 they are quite overpriced. I agree with you second market is a good place to go for their pieces.

My first large Celine trapeze bag came this week in taupe. It’s really lovely and large and the materials are lux but I understand what so many women were complaining about it. It’s not the most user friendly. The large only has a top handle which isn’t the most comfortable, the shape doesn’t mold well to the body-to clunky, the shape sags when you add your items and all the pressure is on the leather by the lock. All that being said, I only paid 350 for it in good condition so for that price I am motivated to play with it for a while. It’s not worth more than that due to the design. I would try other models .

I have a vintage Celine “box” style bag in canvas with leather trim, and the quality is excellent!

Celine gives me a classy yet understated sophisticated feel. I have been looking at the classic box and triomphe for a while now, but realised its not my style. I am more of top handle person. Love the look though xoxo

I got a nano luggage last year and to date is my most used bag. Like everyday. Super hard resistant and fits so much. Also I choose grained leather since calfskin was super easy to scratch. I got it second hand and worth the price second hand compared to full price. I was so sad to learn that that model is going to get discontinued

Hi! I’ve been silently following your videos for a while. I’m going to Paris in a couple of months and have saved a good amount of money for bags. I’m newer to buying luxury bags- I have a LV graceful pm in monogram, and a pochette metis in reverse monogram. I’m hoping to get a black leather bag, a fancier summer bag and a casual spring/summer bag to add to my collection, but there are SO many great choices. I’m looking at the ysl envelope in medium, sunset, the toy loulou, the Louis Vuitton Lockme collection, the Céline triomphe, or possibly a Chanel (but probably only the Chanel if I go that route bc of price). What advice do you have or experience with those brands? I want something classic that will last a long time and hold up well. Thanks 😊
