Hi Mary! My brand new Celine 16 arrived this afternoon! I love it so freakin much! The smell of the leather is amazing, almost like a deep cherry or almond extract scent. There is nothing I don’t love about this bag except that the strap is not adjustable. I saw on another Vlog that it was not really Celine’s intention for this bag to be worn crossbody so they deliberately made the strap non-adjustable. They want women to wear it as either a shoulder bag or to carry it using the top handle. The Vlog went on to say that women won’t buy a bag in this day and age if it doesn’t include a crossbody strap so they had no choice but to include one. Interesting take on it. I truly believe this is a bag that will become a classic for years to come. With the 60’s shape and design, it already looks iconic. I am so happy with my new bag, even though I might be eating Raman noodles for the rest of my life! 😁
Huge Congrats Ruth🙌 Ohh interesting point about Celine's strap but I can see why. I hope it becomes a classic for the brand, but even if it doesn't I love the iykyk aspect of it. I think there is something cool about wearing something where the beauty and design of the bag can speak for itself. But I have noticed more people talking about this bag on social media. Love Celine 16 bag so much. It is in my radar. Only con for me is internal divide. Yes, it is very expensive. Hope they come out more type of leather. Great review Mary. Congratulations for 10K. You did awesome job 💕

I feel what you say it looked mature and corporate 4 years ago but looks so nice worn now with just a feminine dress almost boho dress (Angelina ) is spot on - you know why ? We’ve been through a major top handle phase. Bags hand held by a handle were not a thing until the past 2-3 years. More of a 50s or 60s look hence mature before. Now it’s an actual bag trend that’s why it looks good to us worn casual too

I’m 5ft . Kind of long to me but I love this bag . It’s beautiful in satiated calfskin black in gold hardware . It looks very expensive . And I can fit loads of stuffs lol

Ohh no worries! Just checking it out and navy is a dream! The Row Margaux is at the top of the list because I'm in need of an updated work bag. Hiya , it’s not meant to be used as lock outside , they said it’s for the interior zipped compartment to secure valuables , there’s a hook in there to put the padlock on .
Im about to have a trip to paris and so torn between the triomphe bag in teen size or the mini 16. Both bags are my dream bag right now but urgh….. they are so expensive

I was torn too !!! But I fell for the 16 when I have seen it . Some people say it looks like something an older woman would use but I disagree. I wear it with jeans and shorts , it looks very trendy
