Perfect casting for Gomez, but horrible movie otherwise. Also, got to admit the thumbnail for this video was absolute click bait (no mention of Carolyn Jones as a Pin Up model at least, or one of the inspirations for Elvira? 😅)
I totally see why someone would say that, but I picture it like if I bought your restaurant from you and then turned it into a better restaurant; would I be allowed to be upset? I definitely DONT have an answer lol
Oh my God, Helen has an impression of me she does when I'm hunting comic books and its a kind of blend of a hair-flip and a finger comb because of all the joy leaking out of my forehead.
Legend was my intro to Tim Curry. Haven't revisited that in a long time. Congrats on 1000 subscribers, Ricky. It's well deserved. Thanks for making me think about Chas Addams massive wang.
Love the info in this video...but I think Ted Cassidy was 6' 9" and not 6' 4". Did you mean that the character "Lurch" is supposed to be 6' 4" and they simply had an actor who was taller (Ted) play the part???
Well done over all and the Addams history my friend. And congrats on hitting 1k subs, it is so deserved! How many slabs do you actually own? Great work my man
Congratulations!!! 1000 ! Well done 👍 really entertaining show. Hoping someday to learn how to monetize my Whatnot deals to fund future books. (Basically how to sell for top $?) (or FAIR $!👍)
@@AllSortsofWords misunderstood, I bought deals on Whatnot, ($2 for a $15 book) where would I then sell the book to buy more on the site. (I’m not a streamer)
I don't know if it was a common thing in the early 80's or if our local DJ in Montreal had an affinity for it or something, but when I was a kid that Lurch Dance song would be on the radio non-stop around Halloween every year.
Fiist video of yours I've watched. Giving you a like simply for wearing a Judge Death top. Rogue Trooper, Strontium Dog and Hammerstein would look good too.
@@AllSortsofWords I had the first 100 issues of 2000 AD and Action comics, before my mum threw them out after I moved out. I'm still clinging desperately to the hope that Rebellion will their Judge Dredd series.
The Addams family was the first television family where the parents were not just contractors raising children. The married couple had and actually showed real feelings for each other. This was weird for the time of single beds. You had to be a freak... ( back then to have sex with your wife)
I'm really enjoying the sort of offshoot videos, but you're right collector s of comics usually do have a secondary outlet of collecting. And I have learned more about The Addams family in two videos than I ever have in the past. So thank you
Hey, thank YOU for letting me exorcise this demon. I've been thinking about the Addams's almost exclusively for around three months now and I'm so excited to turn my brain loose onto something else.
Clue. That's my Tim Curry movie. Judge me. Also, I picked up a copy of the 1944 New Yorker 1st Wednesday appearance issue in a lot. Is your copy almost the size of a modern magazine? I got a 1943 issue and a couple of 1949 issues, and that 1944 is smaller than the others. Finally, yay for cracking slabs! I'm a raw collector, myself, because I like reading and looking at the inside of my comics.
