i used to be really sad constantly, wishing could go back to primary school because i was kind of popular then instead of a quite nerd. but then (rather ironically) i saw a david goggins short at around 2-3am and it said to just find your balls and man u and to whatever needs to be done, i also saw an andrew tate clip and he said depression is just ur body saying something is wrong so just do whatever u need to do, it sounds stupid but it changed my view and i thought of the times when my ancestors were being invaded in Hastings, did they cry, no!, so why am i sad about my life being bad, i maned up and after secondary school(i thinks it called middle school in america) i just changed who i was and now im really happy with myself, whenever i feel sad i snap myself out of it and many u and do some exercise and feel fine, it takes mental strength, that is all.@@SKullX88-p

I met a beautiful girl with a little white puppy a few weeks back at a beach nearby, who seemed like a genuinely sweet soul.. I'm an introvert and my anxiety was already high prior so I was making my way back to my car. we exchanged a few words, and she said it was nice to meet me, I said the same and to take care, and she looked back to me and said thank you.. on my way back I started regretting not trying to get to know her better.. I went with my dog to get some food and headed back to the beach to try to find her, but there were too many people around and the sun was starting to set, and my anxiety was surfacing again. I've gone back to that same beach every day, hopefully to see her again, but nothing. and it makes me sad, that I let someone who seemed genuinely interested in talking to me slip away like that, and honestly I cry every day now. I'm somewhat shy, always have been, and have been alone since high school. I'm 27 now and feel completely hopeless. I've been lonely for a long time now, and lost the closest people in my like recently. I live for my dog who's been my only shoulder to cry on. if I didn't have him, I likely wouldn't be here anymore. I just wish I could see her again. It's wild to me that a person I don't even know could make me feel this way. I didn't believe in love at first sight until that day... At 49yrs old with a 20yr old son that is always listening to music like this rakes me back so many years. Now I'm sitting here at 3am listening to alot of these songs that I've only just heard from Tiktok shorts or from his bedroom. I suffer alot with depression and for the past few years have been unable to see the light in anything such as music, movies, etc.. just become non existent. Am hoping this might have reawakened me for my love of the world. My art, wildlife, music, how people live across the world.

My mother is in the hospital because my father abused her and he's in jail now. I'm living with my stepbrother and I haven't visited her for a while now. I found out from my siblings she is barely speaking and she's not responding to nurses and she was rushed to emergency today because her blood sugar skyrocketed and her blood pressure went really low. 😭
I met this girl in my work and we started talking for a few months. Soon I started to catch feelings and I found myself slowly falling in love with her. This girl was everything, after so many years of feeling lonely and feeling like I could never have what other guys and what my friends talked about, this was a breath of fresh air. But in the end I got rejected, same like all the other times I tried. I think I have a built in defense mechanism to where I can't show my affection to what I really want to show since in the past it hasn't been reciprocated to what I wanted. I truly did like this girl, but I feel like I let I slip by, again. We would have the best talks, we laughed, and we talked deep into conversations about ourselves and our goals and aspirations. At least she made my life a little better for a time. Now I struggle with the internal conflict of staying as just her friend, or leaving her. Because I know while she expects a real friend, I can't be that guy. The friendship wouldn't be real. Maybe in another universe, with a different me.

brudda i went thru this but i couldnt tell her myself that i liked her instead she found out from one of my close friends who got played by her, and she was the only person who made me happy, even if I knew her for a year plus. a lot happened between me and her, no arguments tho but she got a boyfriend after dumping her last one who was also one of her closest friends and i always spoke to him cuz he had suicidal thoughts at the time and tried to get confromation out of her Also there were messages that werent even sent by me with screenshot evidence too, and cuz of that its as if i slowly drifted away from her and it was like i didnt want to speak to her at times, i finished school today and she signed my shirt wishing me luck with her signature. I was one of her closest friends before and i still look back at the messages and our actual first conversation thru voice note, where she spoke to me when my head was in a dark place and even told her at school that i wanted to cry. your not alone pal, people always say the right one will come for you, rejection is ok, ive never experienced it but dont give up on love, but also dont focus your attention to it too, you can have a crush that might sometimes use you for their own gain where you dont even see it but others will, Ive been told that when i used to like her. But dont get into the mindset that you can never find someone as great as her, there will be someone who you get along with and brings a smile to your face even when your at your darkest hour

I need to vent, I have family that loves me, I haven't lost anyone close. Well not through death... I was having the best life in 5th grade, all my friends, everything but now I'm homeschooled and my phone broke to the point where I can't get it fixed because it very old and I'm scared that when I get a new one I'll lose their numbers, and I'll never talk to them again. On top of that I have a loving mom, 3 siblings, an older brother, a younger brother and sister, a puppy and everything but I feel like I'm still alone. They never see it because I'm good at hiding it but I'm scared to cry because if I do I'm afraid I wont stop. Writing this just brings everything back and it doesn't feel good, It HURTS bad. If you are homeschooled you will know you don't see people often, if I'm lucky I see people once a month. This includes girls in particular but before I go into that I have to say I'm 13 and there is no one my age, at all. Except one girl but she is taller by an inch, I have a buzz cut right now, and I genuinely don't believe that I could get her, and she is the only one. I feel like if I don't get her then I will be alone until college. Here is the tricky part, I could get her no doubt, but first my older brother started homeschool and knew her for two years never thought of her more than a friend literally he is a very respectable guy for a 16 year old so he respected her but she wanted him so when my mom's dog died he got with her to cheer up my mom as she also wanted them together. He promised he wouldn't break her heart but he did, on accident though because after my mom grieved and healed so like 2 months almost 3 after they got together my brother said he thought he was ready but he wasn't so he was gonna break up with her and my mom and her mom got him confused and overwhelmed so he let her go but now I think that I shouldn't even try. That I should be alone rather than even try because she knows I like her, due to the fact that when my cousin came over I talked to him about it and he mentioned it to her and she pulled the "absolutely not" which if you know girls it means she didn't want to admit it or that she really meant it and honestly I think I know which one it is but I don't wanna risk being wrong. I truly started feeling love for her more than a like when I spent the weekend at my homeschool friends house (her brother whos 10 but still pretty chill) he is addicted to games so when he was playing I was in her room playing with her and her brothers friend I'll call her Brooklyn for reference but she had me dying laughing and I had her dying laughing and I was sold I was all in. I knew what I felt (corny line I know) and it was amazing but then my brother got with her. So now here I am sitting in my bed writing this knowing I'll be alone for the next 5 years if I don't get her. I sit in my bed wondering what it would be like, I look over wishing I'd see someone there but I never do... I try to watch movies but all I see is the girl shaped phantom sitting next to me called my feelings every time I see someone "get the girl", RU-vid and movies and games were breaks from real life, but now the depression, the pain, the sadness, life itself is a break from all the games and shit. I can't change it and I have nowhere else to vent so if you had the patience to read all of this thank you but I could care less if you did, I just needed somewhere to throw this because I can't talk to my non-existent friends.

I’m going through a severe depression right now. I went through the same depression back in middle school and over came that obstacle by the time I got to high school, have I really gone back in time? It feels like all my hard work was for nothing just for the depression to start attacking me again like this. My mom died when I was 6 yo and these songs remind me of her. Some times you need to overcome the sadness just to get out of bed everyday. Pls don’t compute suicide guys . It might make you feel good but everyone that knows you will be heart broken.
Same here. My mom died when i was five. My family knows I'm suicidal and my dad told me my mom would be disappointed in me if I ever go through with it. I stay up all night and can't stop drinking. always contemplate all night

I used to watch this video every day at night with my Siberian husky her name was rajah, and she died from cancer I think lung cancer if I’m not mistaken my profile is her. I just always listened to this song with her at night last year but sadly now I can’t, it will mean the world if you guys say R.I.P to her. To anyone here who's lost a parent, or even both, just remember that you're not alone. It may feel as though you've got no one left to open up to. It may feel like you've got nothing to live for. It may feel like you have no one to see your efforts and say "well done, I'm proud of you". But remember, you're not alone. Even when it feels as though you've been abandoned by everyone there are people who still love you, who need you, no matter how unbelievable it may seem. there are people you can talk to, people you can go to for support , and kind people who will listen to anything you need to say. As someone who recently lost my father at the age of 15, I want to say im proud of you. Theres always going to be someone in your corner right here, and someone who cares about you.
Thank you my father died recently and he committed suicide after meeting me. Sometimes I wish that I never met him so that I wouldn't have to go thrue this horrible depression and sadness. But people make jokes over this stuff and every time they say them to me it makes my cry but I need to hide it. I need to hide my sadness...

Hey bro I understand how you feel exactly I had trauma that was so bad people couldn't even imagine it and I got use to pretending to be happy and hiding everything in for so long about a month ago I met a girl the first person who ever helped me im starting to get better now and shes my girlfriend now life sucks but eventually somthing good will happen if u get through the bad I'm starting to stay up really late but I work out before bed when no one's awake and ive been feeling so much better but its gonna take a while to actually be happy again

I did have a really close animal friend she was the best thing to come into my life and that’s including my gf even she knows how precious she was to me she was my everything and it’s been spot on 2 months without her and everyday I miss her normally I don’t cry In front of friends but 2 days ago I couldn’t help but cry trying to explain the last hug I had or felt something from bcs everyday for 5 years we hugged she saw me have Covid she was literally everything and I can never replace her I don’t even want another dog bcs I don’t want to replace the memories me and her had together I can’t help but cry when I talk about her
