Grew up in Washington state, saw lots of things off the beaten path,if you go out stay prepared for anything, personal locater and firearms are recommend
I'm not saying don't go camping, I prefer the outdoors to any city or populated area of the human kind, but those without experience should always be prepared, newbies disappear along with experienced people, I curious if I could have something to do with nature know the good or bad in a person,,, I just hope we all learn universal respect?!?! Be safe out there and no fear!!!

I was a kid I loved to fish. I was at a small pond on staten island. I was alone noone else around. Dusk is approaching sun is setting I said another 10 minutes I'll pack up and head home. As I'm sitting on the edge of water watching the bobber I noticed ripples in the water coming from 30 feet out. Thinking that it was a fish I real in thinking I'll cast out to that spot. Before I can get my line in I see this white mist rising from the water looked like fog but it was just was like a small cloud no bigger than me. It hovered over the water and started making it's way to the shore. It was getting colder and colder as it got closer to me. I was crapping my pants. I've never seen anything like this. It got to the shore went past me. It headed into the woods. I stood there scared shocked frozen. I watched it move around the trees and it stopped next to a tree. It still looks like a small cloud. It started moving up the tree and then is disappeared at the tree top. Chills takeover my body every time I think of that day.
You know what Dave , it sounds like the chameleon tech the military uses... makes a soldier look like “the predator “ but that wouldn’t explain the cloud... I def mark it up to high strangeness buddy! Glad you didn’t get 411’d!
As a park ranger and fire lookout myself just being in the tower every night for a week or two it's self is fuckin creepy just being up there in the middle of nowhere surrounded by trees and nothingness it can get to you sometimes

That last one is a cult, I live up here in Washington and that is what a lot of them do in national parks and other forests. I have heard chanting and singing in Rainier national park but never seen anything crazier than druggies
Hey Jared, the ranger from the lake in Utah: as someone who lives in UT and occasionally finds himself on a local lake, maybe you could let us know exactly which UT lake you're talking about? Because there are a handful of lakes that might fit the bill. If I had to guess, I would say you're talking about Bear Lake, in part because it's the largest natural body of freshwater in the area, and is a glacial lake, deep and ancient. Which probably explains my second reason for guessing Bear Lake, that is, there are stories of some sort of carnivorous dinosau or dragonr-type creature that lives in the lake, but is able to ashore and move on the land. This makes it sound like a sort of giant alligator, but the original descriptions go back to the mid-19th century, and include a description of the creature being able to somehow generate fire, so naturally a dragon was what people thought of. In any case, how about being a bit more specific with your sighting so I can at least know where to keep an extra close eye on my dog?
I saw something similar in Western Washington. It was big and black. It flew up out of the lake and unfurled it's wings - they spanned like 50 yrds. It dive bombed my car. This was at like 2:00 in the morning. I've done research on it. They are relatives of Nessie and they mostly travel via fresh water springs. Google the Chelan Dragon - that is exactly what I saw.
You mean the hockey team? That's crazy I've lived about an hour from the lake almost my whole life and my dad used to live within walking distance, but I've never heard of it. Didn't think the team name had any basis in reality. I'll have to do some research.
@@alvitrv8072 thanx for sharing! Yeah do research! Also research The Great Lakes Triangle. Get the book The Great Lakes Triangle! Also check out the 411 books by David Paulides and his videos about disappearances around Lake Erie. Dick Goddard felt The Lake Erie Monster is a large eel who could hide in the caves under the lake. I feel it's a cryptid. Also u.f.os are seen around Lake Erie and coming out of Lake Erie!🌊🌊🌊🧜♀️
I've always wanted to work for the forestry commission but after hearing stories like these I'm not so sure. I mean I most definitely still would take a job with the forestry commission but I wouldn't be very vigilant and aware of my surroundings.
There is nothing like an oops moment when your listening and really getting into the story, to find out the subject of the story is actually supposed to be a female and not a male. I love the park ranger stories especially the stairs in the middle of know where
First story coward rangers oh no we cant help search for your grand daughter but we can call the police maybe though for ya....Unless she was the witch/ probable perpetrator after all. Then good call.
You realize people can't just run into the woods right? A SAR operation must go through the proper channels to ensure everyone's safety. It would be incredibly unwise to run into the woods looking for someone with no sort of plan.
its. a shame that you're can't enjoy a. day off.... there are too many creatures human and other wise that are old and have no way out of the situation s.... ..what's happening in the world we live in......if any one has a answer i'd like to know..... thank you very much......may you other days be blessed .......until life calls you home......
Get ready to be scared? Really? Why are you speaking like a 10 yr old? This stuff isnt scary but it is sort of interesting. Maybe if u said something like, " prepare yourself for a journey through the unusual " the title would not only intrigue the subscriber but they wouldn't be disappointed because the title is honest. The thesaurus is the best friend to a youtuber. You'll be shocked with all of the positive comments people would have if you would just expand your vocabulary. You dont want to be accused of click baiting. It's a youtubers worse nightmare aside from losing their subscribers or being demonitized. Luv u huni. Xo
