I find it crazy how we still haven’t figured out all the secrets In red dead, like loads of them are still hidden I gotta respect the work put in by thestrangeman he’s always uploading red dead stuff and there always new and interesting
Hey, didn’t know where to put it, but there is a small detail in the game that is pretty sad. If a horse is critically injured (needs revive) and you whistle, you lose honor. Go figure
And if you hunt an animal and watch it bleed out instead of mercy killing it then you will lose honor. Cool game and cool concept regarding the honor system
@Julian Narduzzi Omg! That's crazy I didn't even know that, I wanna do it but I don't think I have the Courage to physically kill one when I've bonded with it for so long 😂
I was playing as John, my grey Arabian fell off a cliff and was critically injured. Found a wild horse in the wild, tamed him and ran as fast as I could to buy horse reviver, I whistled, to call the horse I tamed and lose honor suddenly, now I know why. I saved my horse in time, if you want to know.
@@PHZanoni i took my Arabian horse to go play the final Hamish mission. I rode Buell and whistled for my horse to follow. We got ambushed in the woods. My horse fell into a hole in the ground that had been covered by leaves and such. I couldn’t get it out or ride it at all. Buell ran off so I chased him down and when we rode back to my horse the hole had been covered up. I rode as fast as I could to the nearest stable to retrieve my horse before it died in the hole
Strange man is one of those youtubers that are honest, do not clickbait, bring interesting content and manage to really entertain you without even talking.
I completely agree with you, Fra0606. This is the only channel I found in which I get answers to my questions and not just more questions although they promised me answers in the title. The Strange Man is one of the few channels I follow.
@@derekwoodford9955 I understand where you're coming from, but I disagree. I enjoy the beauty of the game, and he frequently includes angles I wasn't able to see for myself the last time I played.
When I traveled around the world of rdr2 as Arthur, two NPCs drove past me and one of them said that Sheriff Freeman from Tumbleweed killed his brother and he was going to take revenge or something like that
Although I can make an argument that the old west ended in 1911 because New Mexico was the last territory to become a state. At least on the mainland but as for the 1915 reference I still think it has to do with WW1. By this time tensions between The Central Powers and The Entente haven’t been good and there was already an arms race and countries industrializing and getting ready.
@@clinton8421 How so, if the the house was the time machine why didn’t we travel through time with the wife when we entered with her as she’s holding the baby? Shouldn’t she as well traveled many times if that was the case the she would’ve known where her husband is/was then. I don’t know I’m confuzzled now, thanks a lot! 😑
@@mmo6166 I don't know how time travel works. Maybe he was born in that house and converted it into a time machine later in life. Maybe his family are time travelers, and he was the latest in a generation-spanning tradition.
It’s crazy how we still find stuff, I found a random graveyard in the middle of the woods with nothing near it anywhere in red dead online when I was out hunting
The USA didn't enter until 1917 though, and its not like it was an extinction level event. I doubt bombardment and stalemate in Northeast France is much of a concern to a Saint Denis shopkeep.
@@loudgoat5241 it was a lot more than just a stalemate in France pard. It was war on a level never seen before using equipment and weapons never employed before. They had tanks and planes, machine guns and chemical weapons that were definitely making headlines and looking like a catastrophic event especially to 1900s sensational newspapers. The war didn’t just start when the US got in at the end
It would make sense, because the war started in July 1914 but it really took off in 1915. From that year onwards is where the worst and bloodiest battles happened
Horses are loyal, and regard their owners as “safe havens”. Although I’m sure Jeb was just... more than an owner... Lucy still felt safe with him since horses are herd animals and familiar faces are good for them.
This channel deserves WAY more subscribers. Seriously. Without Strange Man, I would be so clueless to the smallest things in Red Dead. Even the biggest things!
Dude, your editing is top-notch. I also love that I'm still finding out new things about a game I've played for hundreds of hours by now probably. Every time I find or learn something new it just makes me love the game even more than I already do.
This is by far the best RDR/RDR2-related RU-vid channel I've ever seen. The level of insight is kinda ridiculously high actually. I'm always so skeptical about stuff and aware of my own stupidity I'm often the last person in the room to make up my mind or define my opinios about stuff I see. Politics and stuff. When it comes to RDR2 it is no different. I hear all those gossips and I think "okay, NPCs gotta say something every now and then". I'd never think it really means something. I keep underestimating R☆. Kudos to this channel. Seriously.
Videos like this are reminders of why I will always have rdr2 at the top of my gaming list.. no matter all the bugs 🐛 The first day of release and starting the story was oddly extremely satisfying and really pushed the boundary of what gaming is! Side note: your channel is that level 😎👑
Long time supporter. I just wanna say thank you man. Thank you for helping me not only solve and ride along, but for showing the same love and appreciation for this experience. It means alot to see others who wonder and search to find. Much love.
This guy really is working are rockstar the explanations and theories he has for these vids are to accurate and out the box. Lowky tryna give the info out carfully. Much love
Im replaying on ps5, and when I met back with Sinclair (rock carvings), she says "tom" was her husband. Just picked up on that and Gavin reference. So I looked at the drawings in his/her house and the middle stood out this time bc there's 4 heads around his in center. Thought of trees with faces. Went there asap, and very very weird. Took 3x as long for sun to rise. And was odd twilight/very dense brownish fog for the longest time. Gotta be more to it man!!! Edit: if any can figure it out, well!!!
@@asbjrnnrbyjensen6144 i believe he is referring to a taxidermy mutant in a house near van horn. It's in the woods and only accessible through a second story window
Yeah, I feel there was more to that mystery then just the reference, because the papers around that room indicate that someone created it, in the purpose to be some sort of Frankenstein like our little robot creator was. Maybe Rockstar abandoned the idea and just turned it into Manbearpig, and that was it. So many mysteries and missions have been cut in this game, it is incredible that we sometimes are able to even see bits and pieces of these concepts.
My man, I've been watching you since day friggin 1 with RD2! You are underrated and need more recognition and to be recognized more in general, keep up the good work TheStrangeMan
I 100% completed this game ,but I feel like I missed so much . This channel gives me closure ,and a way to stay connected to one of the only games to literally attach to my heartstrings per say.
You are one of the few channels I immediately give a thumbs up to before watching. I know 1000% it's always top notch and well researched. Phenomenal work, Keep it up!
If Strange Man does work for Rockstar, then I must offer my thanks to show us more than it appears. If not, thank you for these secrets and discoveries. I hope Rockstar includes the Urban Legends, Ghost, and mysteries in Online so I won't be alone to discover them in Freeroam.
For moose, there's a few places where they spawn the most frequently. On the shores or swimming in Owanjila, in the mountains on the frozen Lake Cairn, swimming in or near O'Creagh's Run, the southern side of the Dakota river around Tall Trees and Great Plains, or the riverbend by the viking tomb near Beaver Hollow.
@@_spt-warwolf_4575 no, nope, no, nope. I have saved, reloaded, slept and repeat for hours straight on those spots and nada. If one does spawn its a 2 star
@@fmfdocbotl4358 I also forgot, the Aurora Basin outside Tall Trees and keep the charm on you that can make 2 star pelts turn into 3 stars. Only use a sniper rifle to the head from far away
I can guarantee a 100% spawn moose location near Colter. Just follow the pathway to the graveyard until you can see a cliff. A moose usually spawns most of time. If it didn't, sleep till morning in Arthur's old bedroom. There are a few videos on youtube on Colter spawn location, look up.
francis sinclair is an inter dimensional time traveler from gtas universe so he can literally travel between universes and its funny how a game like RDR 2 that took 7 years to make, the devs could not find time to make most of the buildings interiors in the world like wtf theres so many buildings in the world to explore, but oh well. also i hope rdr 3 is a prequel
@@KristianD3 for a remaster of rdr 2 to next gen it's possible bruh they need to remaster it and fill in the gaps and they had time they had 7 years bruh unlike cyberpunks 8 years
I heard in the Strawberry shopkeeper was talking about "Every tree that gets cut down makes me feel lonelier" I can only put that towards the fort riggs letter.
I definitely think Francis is a time travelling link between GTA and RDR. The Epsilon program is proven to be involved. The Mt. Chiliad and Mt. Shann mysteries blow my mind!
Can someone explain me the pots on a chain what are hanging from a tree behind wallace station, near where the grizzly spawn is? I can not figure out for what is it supposed to be.
@@javierescuella2917 No i mean behind wallace station. On the map there is just a small dot and right next to it is a way. There a hanging pots on a chain nailed to a tree.
in RDO there is a random ecounter with a woman in the big valley who has broken her ancle and asks you to bring her to the doctor in strawberry, when you drop her off she says "lets hope the doctor isnt fishing for once in his life" and after seeing this video this is even funnier to me
