Just to avoid picking up fakes on accident, I only pick up retail stuff at retail from Nike direct or a brick and mortar like Foot Locker. If I really want it to wear but can't get it directly from an official retail source? I'll get them from "the source" and put them on feet.

saucony kinvara 2s are my ducklings. Old ass running shoe that isn t even that comfy AND i bought them used for $30 but they lasted 3 or 4 years. Great slippers
I bought two pairs of fake 12's from Buffalo exchange in Vegas. Didn't know until I sold them on eBay. The buyer was cool though. I refunded him and he never reported it. Have came up majorly off clothes at BE though.

I definitely over spent on my dunks, I was immediately hyped when I found out about the Lakers emb dunk high because not only was dunk hype just crazy I really like the embroidery on the back and I missed the drop on SNKRS and went to ebay the next day and dropped 200 on them and they've settled at about 140 or so. Don't get me wrong I don't regret buying at all I just wish I had been a little bit more patient.
They say patience is a virtue, but it's also a double edge sword. As long you love the shoe it should be priceless no matter the monetary amount spent on it.

The ugly duckling I have is not even a single pair of shoe, but a whole collection of OW Nike Vapormax, plus the CPFM version of Vapormax 2. They are just so comfortable and had been my daily beater since their original release in 2017. People always tell me stop wearing them as they are ugly af.
My ugly duckling is 100% the ZX Flux's, though they didn't start out that way. They've kinda had the same lifecycle as the panda dunks in that they used to be hip and cool, but now everybody clowns on you for wearing them. Luckily I live in a country that doesn't care much about what you've got on your feet

Jesus! I remember a time when getting new sneakers meant to wear them for comfort and walking but also to look cool in them. To avoid certain neighborhoods as to not get your sneakers stolen. Now getting sneakers has too much science behind them.
