I'd probably say that I'm an ambivert that leans more closely towards introvert. Like, instead of one little yellow person and one little blue person both living in my head, I have one little yellow person and five or six little blue people. Oddly enough, the little yellow person is usually fairly reserved and only speaks up rarely, while the little blue people are the more outspoken parts (metaphorically speaking) 80% of the time I'll be okay with sitting at home reading, but then that other 20% is like "Hey, we should go out and party!" or something, and then the introverted part of me will be "But people..." Usually, the introvert gets their way, but sometimes the extrovert will respond with, "Yes, but people we LIKE" and then that's when I do most of my socializing
I think it's good that you have both voices to guide you. Socializing is definitely important because we need to feel connected to people, whether we're introverts, extroverts, or ambiverts. :) Keep doing what you do, we support that! ♥

That's exactly how my thoughts work! I knew I always felt like I was at war with myself, though I'm glad this broke down exactly why.
@@shannahlaughlin8951 I still don't know. I couldn't really talk to my crush outside of school before, but he moved and he hasn't been able to get in touch with me so a lot of these things aren't available to me.
CrystallizedSoul658 As an Ambivert myself I can give you some advice: Ambiverts have very diverse personalities, they can be shy, friendly, or even cocky. It’s best to just get to know them first - I don’t mean to ask them out immediately, attempt to make friends if you aren’t already. Ambiverts aren’t a rare species, they’re still human. So don’t be afraid to talk to them! Hope this actually helped lol
It's hard being a ambivert :') You are a friendly person...you be friends with any ppl you meet and when you have to work and do what you want being alone...then your friends will be worried why and you talk to them in your free time... I really feel bad for my friends in real life and my friends online...idk when will I go bonding with them! It's like your balancing in a stick trying not to fall being a extrovert or an introvert
Exactly me. Like, sometimes my friends are doing something I’m not interested in or I feel ignored, so I go to be on my own and they get worried, or sometimes I just generally want to be alone. They never know when to be worried or to know I’m just having a me moment lol.
This was totally me before I confessed to my boyfriend XD Took a leap of faith and pushed my introverted side to tell him how I feel. Don't regret it :3
So tell me, what's the best way to get through to someone like you? If you like a guy you know, that is ambivert. He's super flirty with you, does all the stuff in the video and shows he likes you some times but, then other times seems almost scared of you. I've told him I'd like to be more than friends. He expressed interest then spooked. This cycle keeps repeating. I love him dearly as a friend so don't want to mess that up yet, would like the D as he says. LoL 😁 We aren't young BTW. Abby C same! Though people usually get confused, as if you have to pick your side and have to be either one or the other. It's great to know the majority shares some traits of both personalities. :)
Im an Ambivert.... i litterally cant talk to my crush if everone is in the conversation.. i wanna be alone with my crush but at the same time i feel weird and i feel like everyone is tsaring at me not to mention im horrible with convos and IMEDIATLALY wanna leave if someone tries to join a convo bc i can't take it or.... Don't worry! I feel the same around my crush, it's weird and awkward when I try to approach him. I know he's not interested in me at all, heck, more reason for me to run lol
Girl I'm in the same boat ! I try and talk to him , he teases me and then his friends come along and I don't know a few of them so I quickly try and get out of there or try and meet up with him in secret to throw a flirty remark or something cute . But yeah I'm cringy at times when I Fangirl and flirt and talk.... CRUSHES ARE TOO CONFUSING .
Finally I've found a term to describe me. I've been going by introvert but other times extrovert. So it's great I finally have a label. And it's true that all the things are how I express my romantic interest
@@leavesaretasty6453 no not really. Mostly extroverts do the same thing to others. Example: hugging everyone, ask them out (as in hanging out) ,etc. get what I mean?

Yes!!! I’ve always called myself a social introvert!!! I’m happy there’s actually a name for this 😅 the chickening out is true!!! I’m so close and I encourage others, but having the two fighting sides is so everwhelming! my friends would call me needy because sometimes after days of shooing people away from my room, I suddenly realize I’m missing out on the world and someone must be available to satisfy my need to mingle or observe a social setting :)
Great video, definitely see me in this description and I was always wondering why am I so good with people and enjoy social interactions a lot one day and then need to rest and not see anyone for a week after that :)

@nahranus ever heard of a spectrum? You don't necessarily have to align/identify as strictly "this or that." Like the video outlines, one can have more introvert traits than extrovert traits. Does that make an individual undoubtedly, without question an introvert? No, not necessarily because depending on the situation/scenario and who you're speaking to, you'll act differently depending on your comfort level.

Woah this just came up on my feed and because a guy told me he is an ambivert i saw this video. Now it all make sense, i mean he spontaneously asked me out on a movie,the conversation patterns, showing both extroverted and introverted sides;everything except the party portion kinda happened. This is crazy. Im spellbound tbh!!!

Ok so I was going to comment how everything in this was accurate but it would be just easier to say every single point in this is correct instead of just note how each one is correct. This also helps me understand why I don't usually go out with people even if I want to. I don't understand it and get s little nervous but still like having fun with a crush My entire family is shocked when they discover how timid I can act in certain situations XD thank you this video really helps ^-^
I had no idea that I was an ambivert until I watched this video. I always considered myself an introvert because I and more traits in that area than in the extroverted area, but being an ambivert makes it so much easier

But what Jesus done for you on the cross. Paid with his own blood its a permanent forgiveness of sins.. He even numbers the very hairs on your head. That's how much he loves you.

I was super surprised that si many people are ambuverts, cause whenever I tell people around me, they've never heard if it before, and are very one way or the other. It's like I could show someone this if I feel like they don't understand me. And it also makes me feel better about how indecisive I am xD
Introverts recharge alone, extroverts recharge with others, ambiverts can recharge where ever if they feel like it. We just use them so it’s not an awkward story trying to explain to them, like describing a colour.
Actually I think it’s the opposite. They are growing more accepting. It’s a simple way to explain certain behaviours and relate to people. But I’ve grown up always being told I’m an extrovert and never really feeling like one. The term “ambivert” can be really relieving for people struggling to identify themselves
It's not a label but more of how you you "recharge". Introverts get energized with their alone time and extroverts with their social time while ambiverts are in between. It shouldn't be a label or a stereotype. It's just what you consider your downtime.

I used to think that I’m an introvert because I used to hate going to social event or do any social stuff. But I discovered that what actually held me back was my social anxiety and my insecurities and my true self was an ambivert. I hope you guys do more videos about ambiverts. :)

Yes, I am a true ambivert.. Ppl confuse that with bi-polarism and many find me as weird or unique. And most of these are really relateable and correct for me
