My definition of a Alpha male is a man who is confident and keeps things down low and doesn't have to show off about his success. A real girl can certainly sense it and can pick that persons aura from the crowd. I'm still waiting for the manscaping video.

People get so caught up in this alpha beta stuff, there's so much more to do and enjoy rather than worrying about it. Just be good people, tell your parents you love them. Don't be a dick and if you wake up the next day congratulations. Onwards for the next adventure.

Interesting insights, from a female perspective. My interpretation of an Alpha is: - a man who is unapologetically and authentically himself (what you see, is what you get 😉) - a man who exudes strength (looks the part - masculine and looks, like he can handle himself); a man who is mentally strong within - when challenges arise, he is calm and he is confident, that he can handle them! - Self control (he is emotionally mature) - a dominant man - a leader (a great example to people, a man women and children respect and admire) - ambitious and driven (he knows what he wants and goes after it) - a man lives by his own code of honour, integrity and respect (has values and principles, he lives & stands by) - Charming but not a 🐺😉 (stands up for himself, not a pushover!) - A man of his word (old school mentality - his word is his bond!). In my eyes an alpha male is someone who is doing what he loves and ttys to help the people around him to get to the same point to where they want to be.

Another great video Courtney! Cannot agree more on the Emotional Intelligence point! I consider myself a "beta" male as I'm not physically imposing and I do suffer with my nerves at times. However, a lot of girls I work with consider me to be fairly "alpha" because I know how to speak to different people, I'm always on the go or speaking about new things, and have emotional control over certain scenarios and make people feel comfortable in my presence. Being a lifeguard definitely helps, but its an underrated quality that I feel many men neglect and think women overlook! Being "alpha" physically is obviously a bonus, but if you don't have the Emotional Intelligence then it stands for nothing!

Well done!!! I really enjoy your channel. There are things that everyone can do that will help raise their game. Want to be happy,,, fill your life with people and things that you love. Have a best friend that will hold you accountable when you don't etc..

I'd also add that being an alpha male also requires you as a man to have discipline. A guy who's addicted to pornography, alcohol and drugs and who eats junk food all day long is not alpha since he is mentally weak and is a slave to his impulses. An alpha male is disciplined, cares about his physique by lifting weights, practicing martial arts, eating healthy, etc. They are often seeking more knowledge and wisdom, are good leaders, and above all, an alpha male is assertive and knows when to stand up for themselves and for others. An alpha male will also protect women and children.

Thank you Courtney, that was probably the most precise and sincere explanation I've ever heard on what a true alpha male is. I think most people make this WAY more complicated than it needs to be. At the end of the day, just take accountability and do the right thing, and if the woman is intelligent and aware enough, she will notice. And if she doesn't notice or cares you move on until you find the one that does.

Let's be honest. Society's perception about alpha is muscles, beard, money, cars, big dick, arrogance, opulence and the list goes on. All these standards have been set tremendously high, and the vast majority can't even reach half of it. Just be true to yourself and be the best version of yourself. Great video, Courtney! Hi Courtney! Thanks for making and uploading this clip! Here are what I think that make an alpha male as you described: 1. To have parents that are capable to understand how to communicate to their children like the way you do. 2. To have a social environment that educates people to grow properly like the way you share your ideas and conclusions in a very calm and intellectual manner. 3. To have friends / boyfriend / girlfriend at his early age to hang out in an enlightened way to teach and study from each other to grow as a man with healthy mental and physical status. If someone doesn't have the opportunity or luck to grow up with these conditions that summed up above, well, firstly it pretty much depends on one's animal / humane instinct; and then on reading good materials and also by learning music and arts could lead to a very positive path; finally it will come to having or not the ability of insight to draw the essence of being good (or evil) from all kinds of things and situations that had happened or still happening during his life experience. So...to conclude my thougt: I do believe, that having a good environment is really critical for raising a person and to form a character with good traits. A good society system, a good schooling and formation system, are so extremely important and precious and even could be said romantic to build a good character. Because the sheer quantity of the requirements are foundamentally a lot, so / yet people who have the fortune to enjoy it will not be able to properly see it easily, and by this reason, it is hard. Yet from what I know by all kinds of accumulations, the word Alpha, in its etymological sense, which had derived the word alphabet, comes from the first letter A. An A, as its original meaning, was a pointy arrow head that indicates the direction that a leader leads his people advance, and it derived from the form of a penise, which will always face the way on which one steps forward. So in this context, the true Alpha males, by its original definition and meaning, were leaders that can or hold the tremendous responsibility to make decisive decisions for the followers, which the lives of the families, the tribes, the people, the nations are depended on. And that kind of responsibility is definitely not anyone could hold up to. It is too complicated, it contains too much and it is huge burden with an infinite weight, and that is why so many historical alpha male figures went mad in their later days. That kind of burden shold not be held by any single person, or even a group of people; yet according to the history, the power has always been a true beast that no any alphas could ever control. i've watched several of your videos and really liked them. i subscribed today. probably the most important thing that's missing on your list is the upper hand. if a woman feels she's the prize to the the man, he's no longer alpha in her eyes. he has to be slightly beyond her reach in the initial phases of the relationship. of course, after she falls in love, he should make her feel comfortable...to a degree

I'm aspiring to be more like this and I'm definitely practicing all of these aspects to an extent, I think where people go wrong is they think it's all about power and status yet they don't spend any time thinking about loving, nurturing and leading their group or "pack", alphas bring people up and lead their groups because they care about them.

Fantastic review in regard to 'Alpha' as a concept overall -and relative perceived definitions! The correction of the definition of perceived 'status' here is important and interesting and very relevant to a wider audience IMHO. 'Alpha' being considered the brute of the 'order' is a terrible misconception -and yet nearly universally accepted.

Proper exercise regimens and healthier eating really helps with focus, confidence, and most important, energy levels. I've always felt that those two habits, are the gateway to better overall performance elsewhere in your life.
