Sunday after church at my New Testament bible class. I arrived a little early. Suddenly I wasn't feeling well. Jittery and sudden headache and almost faint. I reached out to grab anything and suddenly a man from class took a hold of me. I started to cry and told him I wasn't feeling right. He put his arm around me out his hand on my head and prayed over me. My head was against his chest and I heard his words and his heart beating. I was feeling embarrassed and he just held me and managed to get me a cup of juice and was so very kind to me. We've been in classes together for years but in all honesty I thought he didn't like me at all. We both do a lot of evangelical things. But here is why I comment. I thought we were the same height he's quite a bit taller, I knew he was a man of faith but had never seen that side of him. I thought I annoyed him and yet he was the one to come immediately to my aide. That night God showed me how he'd had me sitting next to him at church the week before and that we needed to see these sides of each other. That even though I felt I "knew" him I was way off. God said he learned I have a vulnerable side. Almost immediately I was better. I saw him looking at me a few times in class and he'd just smile when I "felt" eyes on me. Is this my person who knows. God will reveal but it is interesting because it taught me God knows who and what I need and will provide it so I truly trust him. Then I get this video recommendation lol. So it was encouraging and also helped me look at my situation. Sunday I will see him again and i have a little thank you card for him. I will take what I learned here and let God reveal but I have been thinking of this man and how very safe I felt when he jumped in compared to my panic that I would pass out in front of some classmates.
