The truth behind the kingdom spouse movement… MY TESTIMONY!  

What an amazing testimony! So many men and women are going to be set free from this. Thank you for your vulnerability in sharing! I too was in deception and God delivered me. So ladies and gentlemen if you're confused about someone, remember God is not the author of confusion but of peace. Seek God, fast and lay the person on the alter. If they are yours, God will raise them back up. If not, you just saved yourself a lifetime of pain. Oh! And check their fruit. If they are an unbeliever and don't have the fruit of Christ, they are not it! The bible says we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Test whatever you are believing with the word of God. If it doesn't measure up, toss it!

I used to listen to all of the kingdom spouse prophecies on RU-vid and slowly started to ignore them. Holy Spirit made me realize that I was idolizing marriage through watching these consistently. I still desire marriage and a family but not in the obsessive way that I have before. Thank you for sharing your testimony ❤️

I will say this for the single sisters -- I recently saw a sister n christ and her husband's testimony.. they said something that will never leave me. It was an "effortless exchange" with them, the moment that they met onward. When you know, you know. Nothing will be forced. We are the Most High God's daughters. He brings surety and clarity. He has HIS very best in mind for us

Recently set free from a lie I believed for 3 years that someone was my husband. That person never had any interest in me at all, and yet I held on tightly for 3 years. But recently, God set me free from that 🙏 🙌

I used to teach new age and make divination videos. The kingdom spouse movement is equivalent to the “twin flame”, “divine masculine/feminine”, karmic partner (equivalent to counterfeits) tarot/witchcraft videos. Don’t drive yourself crazy listening to these divination spirits. Looking into what someone (your “kingdom spouse”) is doing, saying, etc. is a form of divination & idolatry. Just keep chasing the Lord and what He is pruning in you. There is nothing anyone can say or do to you or your God ordained spouse that will keep them away from you. Remember, remember! I have been following you from the beginning! I too fell into the deception of the kingdom spouse! God had been preparing me for marriage and I thought I had to stand for an unbeliever. Y’all I stood for 3 years! This guy seemed to be in love with me but never wanted to take our relationship to the next level. I had dreams, confirmations and saw prophetic numbers the whole shebang! 😂 last May, I decided that God gives us all free will and my so called KS had the choice. I told God I couldn’t stand for this spouse anymore and closed the door! 2 weeks later y’all God sent me my real god ordained spouse! I almost missed it because I couldn’t trust myself after the first guy. I followed God one step at a time and after 4 dates my god ordained spouse proposed. Fast forward to today we got married and I’m 8 mos pregnant with our son! 🙏🏼 The deception is real!

That’s key “always go back to God, but *also* look at the *fruit* of this person. I was deceived for 5 years. Remember to forgive yourselves ladies.

More people NEED to talk about this. Mental soul ties, Emotional soul ties, Admiration soul ties/crush soul ties!!!

Unpopular opinion: I have always found the "kingdom spouse" conversation to be off-putting, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I think these conversations make us obsessive and more anxious than at peace. I also am very wary when I hear someone say that God told them that so and so was their husband or wife. I find that we often we ignore incompatibility and wisdom under the pretense of "God told me". I have heard couples say this but unfortunately end up divorced.

I also thought someone else was my husband and that I heard clearly from God. I ended up running my actual kingdom spouse out the door. Here we are 2 years later, and God brought him back, and we got married last year🙏🏽🙌🏽 Be very careful with these counterfeits. They are so close to acting as the real thing. Seek God always and wait for clear confirmations. That is how my ex came back as if we had never separated for 2 years ❤ all glory be to God🙌🏽

Wow! My testimony is so similar! I thought this dude was my kingdom spouse and I prayed for him and even had dreams . Be careful because the devil can trick you very good and make sure your discernment is on point! I am a living testimony trust me I know!❤😂

I did a similar thing. I prayed regularly for someone who wasn’t even talking to me, I kept asking God for grace so we could get married. One day I got so upset because of the person’s actions and I recognized that it doesn’t make any sense. Why am I so upset about this person who isn’t even intentional about me? The man who is my husband will be intentional about me and will pursue me. It will be peaceful and any conflict that may come will come from outside and not from within. I asked God to harden my heart towards the person and He certainly did. I spent a lot of time with them so I miss them, but I won’t go back. I’ve started to spend my time doing other things and growing in the Lord. I will just continue to wait.

This is such a word, I was also deceived by words, dreams and false confirmations. I was so fixated on a man for almost 6 months (who ghosted me) as I so believed he was my kingdom spouse but God delivered me. Just remember that God doesn’t bring confusion, if you are confused then it’s most likely not from him

A lot of kingdom spouse advice on YT sound almost exactly like the Twin Flame relationships. Praying for us all to go to God first and maintain discernment in these times 🙏🏽

Thank you for sharing. I never heard of the kingdom spouse until I got on RU-vid. And many of those kingdom messages are keeping people in bondage and intertwined with counterfeits.

A man God send you to be your spouse will honor and cherish you. God will not send someone who disrespects and neglects you by ghosting you. God only gives His best.

This is a powerful share! Thank you for sharing. I started listening to your channel back in 2021 and that’s when I had left an ex purposely to turn back to God. I ended up joining a group that emphasized on getting married to kingdom spouses and had some insane expectations for the marriages lol. Suffice to say, after less than 2 years of being in that group, I met someone, totally not what I had pictured in my mind, I allowed him to court me, ended up breaking up with him cause the group leader said he wasn’t for me and when God dismantled the group, I got my senses back and asked the guy for forgiveness and a second chance. We got married last summer and me, who even through my wildest of years never got pregnant, became pregnant literally one month into being married 😭. I’m currently 7.5 months preggers and I’m in so much awe of how God has moved through my life regardless of the crazy journey it took to get here. The biggest secret is to get close to Jesus and He will guide you even when you can’t tell He is guiding you. To God be all the glory 🎉

I just got out of a relationship with someone I thought was my husband foe 5 years now I think. I fought for him I thought he was a prodigal. Turns out he was a narcissist with demons all over him. Cheating lying and using other people against me. God is showing me why he allowed this. It's all to take in. Healing and God time now. Ladies a man that is serious about you will pursue you but also beware, there are some men that will pursue you till the end and even marry you but only want to be with you because they are lusting after you and after getting what they want they will check out of all their duties as a husband. Pray for discernment because these types of men are counterfeits that will make your walk with God harder. You want a man that wants to marry you, but a man that is pushing you and rushing you into marriage.. there’s something wrong there

Your story sounds so much like mines. I remember one time reaching out to you because I felt like this “man” was my husband. I had dreams and visions, and a lot of supernatural things would happen, but that was NOT my husband. He ghosted me constantly, and had other women 🥴 honestly it’s embarrassing to even talk about that. Waited for two years as well. Finally decided to let go and, and then I met my now husband, we eloped a year after dating. Happily married 🥰

I am happy that the Lord taught me that sometimes the enemy will send a counterfeit in the form of a Christian. That a counterfeit can not only be a non-believer, but a believer who is just not for you, even if they are a good person in general. Blessings, dear

Ofc the Lord has ordain husbands/wives for his children but the enemy is using this concept to discourage ppl with sorrow and to make idols in ppl’s heart. I def went thru something similar. Held on for about 6 months. Fast forward, God sent a prophet to speak to me about the deception and pride I had in my heart.

I thought this guy was my husband and waited for 2 years, but finally realized he wasn’t my husband and I was confused, in mourning, I was deceived. I wish I had heard this video when I was in the thick of it but it’s still very encouraging to know I’m not alone. God has been healing me since, I had pride in me and it became an idol in my heart. God restores all things and makes beauty out of ashes.

I thought this guy was my husband too I genuinely believed it. I even told him we are going to get married. I used to wonder if he was my husband why wasn’t he pursuing me, why was he doing XYZ. I had a spiritually discerned person telling me “this guy may look like your husband but he isn’t your husband. He may have traits etc”. I also had someone in my ear throwing me off telling me this is your husband xyz, I had to cut this person off bc it was the enemy throwing me off from what God does have for me.I asked God if he isn’t for me remove my feelings from him. Let him fade away And he did the next few days the guy was gone.

I went through deception and prayed for 1 year over someone I thought was my husband. It was a hard, sad and lonely process. But at the same time God used this to transform me. Because I was pride and idolized marriage, I wasn’t ready for a serious relationship that God has for me, I wasn’t ready for my purpose. I wasn’t truly in Love with God, I didn’t put HIM first in my life… 🥺🙏🏾. Now I am totally healed, in peace with God, and I am getting prepared for the purpose God has for my life. I’m a 19 year old man and I’m starting to talk to women (online) and a little bit in person. But pray for me that God will clear the confusion and that he’ll separate those who aren’t for me. I want my first love to be my forever love. I just don’t want to get in relationship with the wrong women as I’m new to dating. Can your husband maybe do a video of him sharing his testimony on the counterfeit experiences for us men? Us men need guidance too, so that we know who our wife is or if we should marry the women we’re dating. Maybe do a video titled “how to know if this women is the women you should marry according to God” something like that?

😢😢 Im in tears. I met this Guy 2 years ago through a mutual friend, i was so sure he was my husband as everythinh pointed to him including my dreams. Its been 2 years and i decided in January to say hi so about 2 weeks ago we were catching up. I held on for 2 years, i prayed about it and went about life that i even travelled and moved to the UK and only to find out 2 weeks ago that he got engaged. I think God can allow something like that to happen for a good reason. I don't think there are really “counterfeits,” probably good people, just that some things aren't God's will or not His timing. Kingdom spouses are on the same boat as twin flames and both ideals need to stop. They both lead people into delusion, deception, and loss of faith. I dabbled with both ideals for 8 years and I lost time I can never get back and when I think about it I feel so ashamed. However, I didn’t know how much I needed to heal (from childhood trauma, trauma at that time, anxiety) so I was walking around thinking God forgot about me. He didn’t forget. I wasn’t ready then.

That’s alright, I’ve been really dumb in character and made poor emotional choices before and probably still am in some ways. I was super obsessed with one guy who I thought would end up with me for nearly 3 years, all the while he wasn’t actually showing up as my kingdom spouse. I’m finally with my husband and I couldn’t be more grateful to God for calling me out on my immaturity and impatience.

Those dreams sound soo familiar. I had someone close to me and I thought they were the person. I would dream about them but they will always be “out of reach”. They would always be close but just never available. In 2022 we met after many years of not seeing each other and tlking on the phone and oh boy did things went sooo wrong. I recently went thru the same. I was so obsessed with this man praying and hoping it would be an us because I loved him so much. I think it steamed from being in a marriage were I was cheated on and him getting a woman pregnant and never really getting real love from a man, being molested, and just used and manipulated by men. I wanted to feel valued worthy and loved. This dude made me feel love I never experienced so I just knew he had to be a God sent. It was 3 years for me. I had to pray and ask Hodge to help me get over him because I didn’t want to put nobody before him. I don’t want to idolize anyone. So I’m still healing and I had to stop back up off of YT for a minute because I kept feeling like I was being decieved with all these “KS prophecies”. So it’s just me and God right now. His will and purpose for my life.

I'm not one to comment really, but I always knew there was something off about the whole kingdom spouse thing happening with prophets on youtube. I just recently came back to your channel maybe 2 days ago after years and saw that you were married and I remember thinking to myself, "did she really get married to that kingdom spouse she mentioned back then?". I had pulled myself out of the whole kingdom spouse trend after I met my ACTUAL husband (we're in a very loving relationship for a year and some change now! :)) and the Holy Spirit had given me revelation that these people are being deceived and idolizing the idea of love and marriage over God. It's interesting that right when I come back to your channel, you talk about this. I'm glad the Holy Spirit led you (and I) to the truth ultimately and gave you an awesome testimony to share with the world to save others as well! Wow! This is an amazing testimony! I was believing God for one specific person and whenever I would pray and fast for marriage, he would come back around. I "waited" for a year, and still tried to date and talk to other people, but in my mind I was wondering if he was it. This year, God answered my prayer about us. He wrote me a long message letting me know he wasn't ready to take that next step forward, so now I am continuing in my faith and belief for a special relationship. In the meantime, I am healing and walking in my assignment for this season! I also stand in agreement with you about not worrying about how it will happen and how God will do it.

Why is this my story VERBATIM timeline and all!? Gosh your testimony has helped me more than you may ever know ❤

GREAT TESTIMONY on how God DOES work for the GOOD of those Who LOVES Him! We've got VERY similar stories. After a Marriage of 32 yrs and being a Pastor for longer than that, She walked away and I said at one point in desperation after that, “God, is this what I can expect for the rest of My Life?” 1) - If Someone walks away from Your Life, let Them GO! They weren’t meant to go into where God wants You to go. What GOD joins Together, NOBODY, not even You, can tear apart. For Me, I went in ultra-depression to the point I wanted “out”. God saved Me on an operating table when I said a One Word Prayer (ask Me about that sometime…). Two yrs after that, I asked God to reveal to Me Who He REALLY is - I mean right down to the nuts and bolts of it. He did BIGTIME! I thought I knew Him. I didn’t - not like I do now! Then He did this ‘thing” where He reversed the question and TOLD Me Who I am. Who HE sees as Me. To this Day and probably until I die, I might not see that as HE does, but I’m getting there. Then I asked a BIG question that I wasn’t prepared for. When the divorce went thru, I said, “I will NEVER EVER get Married again. Way too much pain.” But when I asked this One Question, My entire Life changed. I asked, “God, what Is Love? I mean, what is REAL LOVE?” And He answered that He had already answered that when He told Me WHO HE IS. Then He led Me to the Book of Hosea. You don’t hear much about Hosea. God told Hosea to Marry a prostitute, and He did. She cheated again and again, but He constantly took Her back. Eventually, bound on a post as a slave, Hosea was FORCED to “buy Her back”. She was already His Wife (no divorce - even when EVERYONE said She was a hoe), but He had to PAY for Her. You don’t hear anything about those two after that in that Story, but what that REALLY is is a Story of God and Us and how HE paid for Us through Jesus. THAT’S REAL LOVE. REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. And suddenly, the Desire to Marry again felt on not just My Heart, but on My Mind, My Spirit, and even on My actions. Ever since, I’ve been writing “My Future Wife” letters - Love Letters - letting Her in on what’s happening in My Life and how the Man that She is going to Marry One Day (Me) ended up being the Man that will stand before God AND Her One Day at an altar and why He ended up with Her. 2) Words MATTER! Speak to the THING You’re going to! If God said You’re going to do something, then do it! Don’t fret because God is WITH You in the meantime and He will NEVER lead You astray. As of this Day, I have NO idea Who “She” is, but there’s something I did right after studying Hosea. 3) God DOES have a Plan AND a Purpose for Your Life. ASSIGNMENT. I choose because of what I want but GOD Chooses because of what We need. So in short, I told God, “Lord, you know what I like, but YOU only know what I need. YOU choose. And even if You don’t and I am single for the rest of My Days, You Lord are enough.” And I let it go after that. I KNOW deep down inside that One Day I WILL Marry the Greatest Woman on the planet for Me so I PREPARE. 4) Get ready for what God told You! Stop sitting around and GET READY FOR IT because it IS coming. Isaiah 60:22. So I guess at this point My Testimony of the last 12 Yrs is STILL in the making. Some might say I’m waiting for nothing b/c it would be here by now. Let Me say a Name - Caleb. He was 40 when Joshua and He saw the Promised Land, but 85 when He FINALLY entered. Caleb never gave up on The Dream. God definitely gave Me A Dream (and yes I DID have a specific Dream about Meeting and Marrying My Wife). I don’t have a Dream - that Dream has ME! THANK YOU, JESUS! More to come…and I'm only 63.

Good I watched this because someone who I really desired ghosted Me as well. I’m praying for God to remove this desire of mines. So I can be set free from holding on. It is a recent experience but I know I want to let go and I pray about it. Some days are better than others, I have been watching KS videos too but I recently felt I gotta stop watching this cuz God will lead me and my husband to each other on the lords timing not mines.

Awesome that you shared this! The Bible says the heart is deceptive sis… the enemy is a schemer. As women and men waiting on God for marriage; we have to literally guard our hearts, eyes, ears and minds from our own desires, fantasies and obsessions. Our minds also operate on confirmation bias. I know lots of ppl, myself included, who’ve experienced this and many had nothing to do with prophetic words and the like. Literally, just lack of discernment and delusion based on desire. It’s really about surrender. Whether you believe God brings you a person or gives you wisdom to choose, it goes back to surrender.

If the dreams were showing you that you’re looking for your spouse and he is nowhere to be found then that’s a clear message there! 😳 These dreams weren’t deceptive but they were showing you the truth which is that there is no kingdom spouse there where you were looking. In other words whoever you thought was your KS wasn’t. Very clear message from such dreams.

Seriously cant thank you enough for sharing. The Lord confronted me through His word about holding onto this particular delusion. Man did it hurt but it is so freeing. Holding onto this delusion had me bound to the spirit of rejection and much more this is not our portion. 1-9-24 I was set free thank you Jesus Christ ❤

Thank you for your transparency that can help so many of us! 🙌 what I took away from this is I need to start praying for god to show me who the one is for me by showing me their fruit which is biblical. Also it makes me feel better about “wasted time”. Thank you for being honest about how deceiving prophecies can be if they aren’t real or for you and to always check with God. Maybe I didn’t wait on someone 2 years without talking but I have held on to something I needed to let go of because of living in fantasy and not reality of what they person offered me .. I kept focusing on what I wanted and ignoring what was. Thank you again for being such a genuine person and making yourself vulnerable to help others.

I agree this whole movement is deceiving.. i feel into it wich lead to idolatry .For 3 years I thought someone was my spouse but it wasnt. I fell into fornication as well but I repented and left the relasonship. God is merciful and forgiving to those whorepent
