I totally know what you mean. When I was a kid my grandma would make plain old microwave hotdogs and would steam the bun by wrapping a damp paper towel around it in the microwave. I still try to replicate that and every once in a while.

I have a new favorite Brat w cheddar dog. Without calling out one sauce try this : Grill bratwurst with cheddar, a deli roll (about 5 or 6 inches, then sauce it with RAOS sausage and mushroom, a dab of butter mixed in the sauce. Eat well my friend.

For the condiment tray...go to any restaurant or bar that you frequent...liquor companies and salesmen are always passing theses out as freebies...I had half a dozen of these just collecting dust. If an employee or customer wanted one, they were always there.

They are Hoffy All Beef in the natural casing. These are the brand that Pinks in LA use. They are great!

Oh no. 😬 That’s not what we do. We make our individual sauces and put them each into their own squeeze bottle. The smaller bottles if you’re not doing d hot dogs for big groups work great.
