I just love you and your family. Y’all are all so sweet. Your son is the cutest kid ever. You are all so honest and down to earth. It makes my day. I’m your new Grandma Brenda ❤
I've never used NAAN bread, I'm sure I will try all these recipes (except the pesto 🤢). It was great seeing Cole today, he's definitely getting over his shyness! 👍👍
I LOVE Naan bread, especially the Roasted Garlic kind. I make my pizzas using it now. Gonna have to try your other recipes with it. BTW, I am from Clinton, SC, (now living in Ga.) nice to see a fellow South Carolinian here!
I use them to make a version of Panera’s Frontega Chicken sandwich. Using that same fresh mozzarella! Pizzas and sometimes I use them to make Naan “chips”, like pita chips only thinner.
I’m excited to try these! I don’t care for hummus but I’m sure I can find a sub or just skip that one. They look so yummy and easy + quick. Gonna try them in the air fryer too! Thanks! I keep my Aldi and Lowes Foods apps open and always add items to the cart after your videos.
I can't wait to get some of the mini Naan bread. I've been wanting to get some. I just haven't known what to do with it other than regular pizza, and I'm not fond of that. Cole and Stephen remind me of my 3 boys. All 3 of you are a riot ❤
I've never used it but I've had it for like spinach dip and loved it but me personally, I love the thicker, buttery garlic breads so I don't think I'd like that one.
There is ZERO doubt who his biological parents are. He’s a perfect combination of both….right down to his dad’s disappearing hair pattern!! The kid is adorable. He’s not a picky eater, so I hope he finds a life partner who loves to cook!!😊
I make dessert pizza with them! 2 pkg mini naan 1 can cherry pie filling 1 cup mini chocolate chips 1 container honey pecan cream cheese This makes several. Smear cream cheese on the naan.. top with cherry pie filling and or chocolate chips. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes. Cut in half… serve with a little whipped cream or ice cream
Mandy honey, I loved this episode - especially since it can be for a single person! Thank u for considering smaller households when u do ur videos & smaller incomes too. I notice & I appreciate ur thoughtfulness! Cole is "coming of age" & starting to feel bolder in his cute presentation. U are a great example (& parents) to him, showing how u can care for other people in healthy ways. He's growing up to be a fine young man! Now u know I'll be praying that he finds himself a darling girl to follow in ur footsteps too! Give ur family (especially sweet Gracie) a big hug from Grandma Sandy! 🙋♀️🌻🦋🏠🐾🐾💕💕💕💕

My daughter has taught me how to make naan bread, very easy, quick and cheap compared to store bought. We use it for many good eats such as you showed as well. ❤
@@sandybowman7140look on a RU-vid channel called Dimitra’s Dishes. She gives a great link recipe for how to make Naan bread there with a video tutorial. Her channel is great! I also learned to make an amazing gyro meat on her channel that I use naan bread for. It just depends how much time I have whether I make it myself or buy it premade. It’s really easy to make tho.
I recall being told that you always have to "wake" the naan. This means heating it in some way to where it is at least warm. It is kind of the every man bread because it will get very crispy if you like that, or just stay soft and pillowy. My favorite way is to simply add a tiny bit of butter to a skillet to gently crisp the bread. From there, anything goes really. I have made sandwiches of all kinds, and somehow, some way, the naan bread just makes everything better. With hummus, the warmed naan is super good too.
We are lucky to have an ALDI by our house and they have delicious Naan and even a garlic version in both the regular size and also the mini size. The word you are trying to pronounce is not Margarita like the drink but it's Mar-gretta like the girl's name Gretta. (restaurant person here). We use Naan for a faux bruschetta with the garlic naan, fresh basil and tomatoes from our garden with cheese alot in the summer with a chive garnish. Yummy stuff 🙂
I’ve never tried Nan bread before because I didn’t know what to use it for. You have given me some great ideas so………Alexa… add Nan to my shopping list! 😂 Thank you Mandy! Oh, by the way… Cole reminds me so much of my own son. With the exception of my son being in his 20’s, their personalities are quite similar. 😊❤
Did you know that “Naan” is the Persian word for bread? Which means people are, in essence, calling it “bread bread” when they call it naan bread. 😄 either way it’s a delicious and easy to make bread! Thanks for the recipes.
Add you basil at the end when you pull it out and it’ll be fresh. We like to make a classic tuna salad, Philly cheese steak and also chicken parmigiana with our naan bread. I also put a piece of parchment paper between each naan and freeze it then anyone can easily remove one at a time to make a quick lunch.
Pesto Spinach chicken & feta. Yep. Best Naan bread pizza ever. Coming in 2nd place would be the BBQ chicken pizza. Yummy. I haven't tried the others but I will. It's awesome that the bread is the perfect size for one at lunch. (I may or may not make me 2 pieces. 🤣🤣)
Hi Mandy!! I love naan bread for so so many different reasons! My littles love when I make homemade pizza “lunchables” and pack their lunches! My hubs and I LOVE to make spicy garlic naan when we make butter chicken and rice! Which I also suggest your family try butter chicken, rice (we love the yellow rice) & naan!! Stay blessed! Hubs and I love watching you and your family! Thanks for all of your recipes, tips/tricks, Gracie Lou and just your & your family’s presence! You are such a blessing! ❤🙏
My son has a Greek/Mediterranean chicken recipe he likes, and you serve it with naan bread. We have to make ours from scratch because the store bought kind has dairy, which I can't have. But it is sooo delicious!
I love naan bread. I made some homemade recently, and it was really easy. Sometimes I just don’t want to leave the house, but I want something that I don’t have.😂 I was determined.
I'm not sure if Naan bread is like pita bread, but I love love making salad pitas! I'd probably do that with the Naan bread, just cut a slit in it and make a delicious salad. That dressing looks like it is delicious! I can't wait to try it! Have a blessed day! 💕
I love how you two "tink" before you try a dish. How did you come up with that? That is an awesome gesture. Cole is really funny!! Love how he did the "I got my eyes on you" thing. He's funny, too!!! We know where he gets it from!!! Have a great week!!!! Love to Gracie!!!
I love naan bread a recently started making my own, I follow the recipe from chef John food wishes. It's incredibly easy and you don't bake anything you make them in a cast iron skillet 😀 I'm not a baker lol
Went to the food bank and received a container of onion naan rounds, first thing that came to mind to make bacon cheeseburgers. Normally use the street tacos but I have always wanted to try naan. This my chance. I will be trying the bbq chicken pizza as well. Thank you for the great ideas.
Oh yes the caramelized onion naan rounds from the same company are wonderful!!! I've eaten so many even just with just mayo and luncheon meat they make a great sandwich.
My sister and I made na'an. She mixed and raised the dough, and rolled it out. And I tended to the 2 iron skillets. Later, I watched Chef John on RU-vid, and I can make pita, now, which is great. Flatbread is great! And if you are on a tight budget, you can make it at home. Thanks for the recipes! Na'an, It's not just for curry anymore. I also make hummus, because it's so good, and less expensive.
CUTEST FAMILY EVERRRRRRR. I love me some naan. Yummo. I do a naan pizza with alfredo and chicken, mozz. I just pop the ingredients in a gallon ziploc and pop in the freezer so it is ready to go when I want it.
These all sound delicious. So happy when they started having Naan bread in the store and especially the mini. Thank you Mandy and Gracie for a wonderful afternoon.
I think this bread makes everyone happy! We use them all the time pizza style or grilled with butter with every Indian meal I cook. We also use them as breakfast burritos style… the combination are endless! ❤
I loved watching you on you tube but now I can't get your recipe like before so I'm thinking of not watching you anymore. Why watch if I can't get the recipes and they are not on your website..
I’m so happy to see Cole being apart of the video more he is just as much fun to watch as you and Your husband. Loved the variety of the Naan recipe .😊
Luv Naan bread, been using it for open faced pizza, garlic bread and open faced sandwiches…yum…forgot to mention: Luv seeing Cole, he’s funny like Steven--you have your hands full, lol
I make the garlic Naan when we have curry, and I make BQ chicken pizzas with the larger Naan beads all the time. Even pepperoni pizza is grea with the Naan bread as a base. Very versitile.
I’ve never had naan bread but it looks so good I just bought that kinders honey hot bbq sauce a couple weeks ago and it it absolutely out favorite. I’m not a fan of honey at all but it’s so delicious.
Mandy. When your husband said the naan opens up. I thought shredded jack cheese inside with your garlicky buttery goodness and your husbands idea of marinara for dipping! I thought that would be a good snack or light lunch idea!
Hi Mandy! 🙋♀️ Thank you for sharing these great recipes. I am definitely going to give it a go. Naan bread is also really good with indian gravy recipes like butter chicken. Probably would be good with stews as well. I usually stock up when I find it on sale as they freeze really well. Can also be warmed in the air fryer 😊❤
Great recipes! The thing I like best about your channel is the family participation! It’s so enjoyable to watch and really brings the cooking experience to a real world scenario. Kinda like my household, hubby checking over the shoulder and the kids sneaking a peek! 😉
My mil had a cat that she always shared her tuna with. The cat would stand in front of that cupboard and meow until a can was opened and she was given a pinch. 😂 BTW, we always want to see you, Cole!
Mandy i am so glad to see that you used the Kinder's Honey Hot BBQ sauce. I recently made oven fried chicken wings for the super bowl and swore I had picked this up, the whole time I had Kinder's Gold BBQ Sauce. My husband knew I had picked that type up and heard me running around telling everyone at church I was making honey hot chicken wings smh lol. They were good regardless but after seeing your review of the honey hot, i can not wait to try that flavor. Between you and Jessica you both have made me love the Kinder's brand. Also, I noticed that you did not oil the bottom of your nan bread when you cooked it. Does it still crisp up okay with or without oiling the bottom portion?
Loving the recipes this week Mandy. If they get the Cole seal of approval, I know I'll love them, I find my/our tastes are similar to his. I generally use naan bread with a homemade curry but I have made pizza using them in the past. In our local Indian restaurant we get something called Peshwari naan bread, its to die for. You can make the topping at home, try that some time. Thank you for sharing, loved loved loved these recipes xxx
I've never used flat bread before. All these recipes look delicious and easy to make. Just added to my shopping list to try this weekend. Thank you!! 💜
We make pizzas on naan all the time. I do my Margarette one a little different you might want to try. I put it in oven with a little olive oil and garlic on it, pull it out and place fresh mozerella. Put back in oven until cheese is bubble and good. Take out and then add your freshly sliced tomatoes and basil and then drizzle with balsamic glaze. Sooo good! The balsamic is the key thing that puts it over the top!😉
I started using nan bread as a way to make homemade pizzas for my son, after standing in the grocery line and talking with another customer. I usually oil the bottom of my nan bread, and place the toppings on the other side and place it in the oven for 20 minutes on 350 degrees if i am using the bigger size bread.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Naan bread! We eat it all the time. Did you know you can make your own Naan Bread with 2 main ingredients? If you mix 1 3/4 cup of self-rising flour, 1 cup plain greek yogurt, 1/2 TSP salt and 1 TBS butter (to brush on top), you've got Naan Bread. Just mix the flour, yogurt and salt and form into a balll. Lightly flour your counter top and roll out dough into a circle. Cut dough into 8 different pieces. Roll each piece and flatten out. Brush with butter and fry in a well oiled iron skillet. So good and more healthy too! Love you guys and I watch all the time! I also sent you a Subbie Supper a long time ago called 'Karen's Pizza" that I make on Naan Bread. Have a wonderful day!!!
Went to my friends Christmas get together and one of her appetizers was a Thai Chicken Pizza ( on Naan) with Spicy curry sauce. She said she found the recipe on google. Man were they good ( she cut the mini Naan into small pieces for a nice appetizer tray)
These are some fantastic recipes using the Naan bread, I make it as a meat lovers pizza using Italian sausage, diced ham, and pepperoni. It is so good.
Naan Bread makes everything better. Opens like a pocket to fill. When you want something fast. Toast bread and wrap around some string cheese. It will quiet them down so you can think what to cook. ha ha . Thanks Mandy and back up crew.
