Good morning!! Enjoy today's video! Sorry this took me a while to upload, but ironically my slow cooker broke whilst making the 1st recipe for this video 😆 anyway - all sorted! Enjoy 🥰
Made 3 of these recipes so far, got one in the slow cooker. I made the Coconut Dhal last night and turned the leftovers into soup by adding a bit more stock and it is so so good!!!
Hi 👋 for the first recipe ( chicken curry naans) on screen the ingredients are listed as teaspoons but you say in the voice over tablespoons for the spice measurements, please can you confirm which it is ? All your recipes look amazing 👏 😍
At last , a budget shop/cook that has nutritious, healthy food. Love all the recipes and just been to Aldi yesterday for a few bits, can’t wait to cook these recipes and look at your older videos.
Thanks for this, i shop in aldi so this is perfect for me. Personally I prefer the talk along as on the voice over the ingredients are not going in to the slow cooker in context with the video. Great new recipes for me to try so thanks again,
Lovely recipes 😋 Thank you for this. I smiled at 'Mandarin' 🍊 Soph. Mandolin (like the guitar) is what it it's named....but 'scarey slicer' as I call my mini one 😂😂 it's known in this house. xx
Love your Vegan recipes - thank you!! My oven is basically redundant as I use my slow cooker all the time. Looking forward to more Vegan slow cooker ideas - thank you for sharing :)
I made the chicken on flatbreads for hubby and me last night and it was so lovely and will definitely be making again. Doing the honey garlic pork noodles tomorrow xx
@@emmanuelle7662 you can eat it either way. We used cutlery but I’m sure you could fold it like a wrap? Hope you give it a go it was very tasty indeed x
Hi Sophe, that was unfortunate that your 20 year old slower cooker broke. I will have my fingers crossed that your new one will last even longer🤞🏾. I am going to give the honey garlic pork(chicken for me) noodles, it looks so yummy!! Fantastic week of meals Sophe, thank you as always for sharing my friend ❤️. Take care and have a lovely week ahead 🤗💕.
Frozen cucumber for adding to a glass of water how an earth haven't I thought of that I love that idea ha. Love your content as always and mega excited for your autumn content I know you love autumn xxx
Hi, I have just discovered you!! I was kooking for someone who loves cooking and managing to create meals on a budget. Love your slow cooker recipes. X
I've just found your channel and what with the weather on the turn and heating etc you are just what I was looking for! The weather where I am in East London was awful lol I k ow we shouldn't moan but I am done with the hot weather. Any I'm rambling lol SUBBED!
I did enjoy the meals the pulled pork looked so yummy .a tip for you pop a tee towel over the slow cooker and your food will cook a lot quicker the steam doesn't come out of the lid I can't wait to see your winter slow cooker meals over fran xxxx
Thank you for this video Sophie! I love slow cooker meals and I'm constantly on the hunt for new ideas for my family, so I'm really excited to see more of those from you! Keep up the great work 👍 👏 😊
You are absolutely fabulous. What stores do you do your grocery shopping at? Do you stock up on water? Can you possibly do some in store grocery shopping videos? It would be awesome if you could show how you do your full shopping trip
I shop in Aldi and Lidl mostly! We drink tap water in the UK, I understand it's difference elsewhere though! Hoping I can do some in-store filming soon, they get a bit funny about it but sometimes they don't mind. Thanks for watching! 🥰
Thank you, Sophie. Yummy recipes. Saved all of them and will definitely repeat. Love using slow cooker and with hot days is a life saver. Looking forward to your next recipe video.
Chicken shawarma FTW! Also try with a Greek salad as a side: Cucumber, tomato, peppers, feta. When you're not shopping at Aldi, look for Aroy-D brand coconut milk (Sainsburys). It's fantastic! I also use cumin when I make coleslaw! Thank you for sharing your recipes! 👍
@@Sopherina I make several different varieties of coleslaw with the cumin. I don't use a written recipe. I just mix the dressing ingredients in a bowl! I've also used a rice wine vinegar with that instead of apple cider vinegar (ACV). Champagne Vinegar (or Prosecco Vinegar) is also good with other coleslaw recipes. Make the slaw dressing separately with a mostly mayonnaise base and add a vinegar and spices/seasoning to taste and then fold in the slaw veggies. One variety is with cumin and just a little cayenne (optional) and black pepper and you can also add a squeeze of lime and fresh coriander (both optional) and baby tomatoes before serving. I also mix sliced spring onions with the cabbage. Also consider thin red pepper slices and red onion slivers. Coleslaw is so delicious that it can be eaten as a main! It even tastes better the next day! BTW, cabbage is another vegetable that tastes best in cool weather! And you can make a slaw with a blend of both white & red cabbages! I've also had a delicious shaved raw Brussels sprouts & apple slices slaw with bacon crumbles and an ACV & Dijon mustard dressing. Brussels sprouts are another veg that tastes best in cool weather. And in Winter, add the cabbage carrot mix from the supermarket in a chicken veggie soup. BTW, in a very simple mayo & ACV dressing cabbage & carrot coleslaw, I also add celery seeds. I haven't mentioned adding a sweetener to any of these recipes but stevia or honey can be considered and sultanas too. Also soured cream can be added to the dressing. If you have good knife skills for shredding, a 60p head of cabbage can go a long way! And coleslaw is always a good side with BBQ! I enjoy the cumin coleslaw with pork carnitas (Sainsburys slow cooked Mexican style pulled pork). You could make a month of vids about coleslaw recipes!
This has been a brilliant idea, especially in this economic climate! I don't have a slow cooker, but we do have a toaster oven, with a slow cooker setting, so I can make them in a casserole dish in the oven on the slow cooker setting! As always, a great video sophie! TFS 👍 ❤
I'm not vegetarian or vegan but i do include lots of vegan meals. My kids can't really tell so its a win. We do love our chicken, fish, prawns but not fans of red meat. I love healthy, simple meals which taste good. I get loadz of inspo from you. I look forward to your videos. Xx
Brilliant video and slow cookers are really underrated but cheaper to run and can just leave it to work it's magic. Looking forward to your vegan video soon
Do you think it would be better to see inside of the slow cooker as you add the ingredients, rather than looking at the pot? Just a thought. Recipes are fabulous 👌
Just discovered you! I was looking for slow cooker videos and found a lot that seemed to be made by people who didn’t like or understand food :/! Loved this, all really tempting and can’t wait to try the red lentil curry.
@@Sopherina no, just the usual cumin, paprika, coriander, chilli flakes and some mixed herbs. 👍 I used beef mince, formed into 4 kebab skewers, popped them under the grill and turned every few minutes, until they will golden brown. Took them off the skewers, sliced, spread the meat over 2 naans (for me and the hubby) and topped with shredded white cabbage, grated carrot, sliced onion, sliced tomatoes, tzatziki and some chilli sauce 😋🥰. It was delicious xx I have made these with lamb mince before and they were good too 👍(oh and a bit of salt and pepper of course 😁) xx
Hi Sophie, I was watching one of your earlier videos where you organised your freezer, I was wondering what app you use to keep track of your freezer contents please? X
Hello ! New here..love these meals thanks so much. How long do the dried noodles take in the pork and honey noodle recipe (once the meat is cooked) thanks Breda
Hi Heidi I have reviewed hello fresh in these videos linked here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bu4uBIAIbAc.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kOFXMPgU-yY.html
Gosh, my heart was in my mouth when you were slicing that apple on the mandolin. 😬😬😬 Be careful, and use the little gadget that comes with them to hold the fruit or veggies that you are slicing to protect your fingers.
