As a kid I would just put a bunch of different program advances into my folder and it would basically just be a gamble every battle. folder flow has really made my recent BN5 double team playthrough much easier
Didn’t expect to encounter this video so early on. BN3 is the only BN game I played in my childhood, so I like listening to you talk about various parts of it.
I love the fact that one of my favorite childhood game series has been revitalized for the next generation. It allows for these types of videos where I can gleam info that I didn't even think of as a kid. As a side note, Pause Buffering came in clutch when fighting Bass back in the day. I had to fight him on my White/Blue and also my friends versions.
I was able to cheese almost the entirety of BN3 with a cheap Geddon + Snake/Fountain folder lmao, It was my first time building a proper deck after beating the first two games and it felt so satisfying
Untrap is pretty much mandatory when you go to the Undernet or the Secret Area. The virus trap chance is so high yet the monetary rewards in the Undernet and the chip rewards in the Secret Area are so huge that a single Untrap will immediately pay its worth off.
Dude, I've been watching many of your videos just because they're so informational. I love the battle network series and have been playing it on emulator for a long time now. Also I'm just entranced by that background of yours. I've stared at it for almost the whole time that you've spoken.
Great tips, glad I'm already doing most of these. Played for nine hours yesterday from the start of the game, got to Yoka 1 and was using Untraps. Now I can look forward to Undernet 2 and doing the same thing. One tip I would have added to the vid is how to get SuperArmor -- It's the first program you get for Guts Style. Maybe we should be abusing BusterMAX at the start of the game just to get Guts Style. I didn't do that and spammed my Invis chips for Shadow Style, because it's awesome. Actually, does the game add points towards Guts Style when BusterMAX is active? Anyone able to confirm or refute?
I think it does, but what you'll end up getting instead is Shield style. It makes sense when you think about it. If you use BMax, you finish most encounters in about 2-3 shots, which is far less than you'd be shooting if you grinded for Guts Style without it. Plus, finishing encounters with BMax usually means you just never get hit, which contributes more to Shield style than the 2-3 buster shots do toward Guts Style.
@@MercuryHg34 Thanks for the explanation! I never knew avoiding taking damage added to Shield Style. Do BN2 & 3 add points towards Guts for each point of damage dealt with the buster, or is it just each hit adds a point?
@@danielpayne1597Its each hit from a buster regardless of damage. If you really want Guts Style to be guaranteed, you could also opt to use the buster while the custom gauge is full for 2x points per shot.
If only there was a way for casuals to exploit the gambling lol, I've spent so long save scumming the 4-panel gambler that I'd be better off just using a million untraps
god damm i played this game for years and he used slang that confused me...... guess thats my own bad luck for never playing pvp. or maybe it was from something outside megamam.
Please change your mic. Is makes this infuriating sound that irritates the heck out of my ears. Also put more distabce between you and the mic. To avoid that annoying sound being caused by that.
Please consider speaking more loudly into your microphone and drinking water before and after takes. Your mouth noises are off the scale and it makes your videos impossible for me to listen to.
There is no before or after takes. I pretty much do these things in one long take. I'll take the criticism on board but at the end of the day a lot of what you hear is just how I talk and communicate, that's probably not going to change.
