It is so frustrating not being able to discuss the internal spiritual growth and angst it causes. My therapist and spouse don’t understand. I guess the point of it all is we must do this work on our own!

I suppose I can see how a spouse might not understand, but a therapist? What?? Why not? They're supposed to be in the business of understanding this kind of thing. You still have to do the work, of course, but they're meant to to offer feedback and empathy, at least. 🤔

might have the wrong therapist, it‘s important they‘re not closed off to the spiritual if you feel it‘s central to your growth. they should take a holistic approach, not a sterile one

@@cc1k435 well, I’m just starting on my spiritual awakening so this is all new and I find it hard to express my internal experiences clearly. I am sensing a little skepticism and intolerance from them (as in who has time to sit around pondering existential questions). Probably should not be using a cognitive behavioral therapist for this!

100% relatable but since source wants us to trust it's energy, we simply have to STAY awake, pay attention to everything and trust that god energy will guide us! Each time I start to feel what you described, I quickly go back to affirmations, letting god know I'm grateful and that I have 100% trust and believe that I will not be let down... aannnd boy the challenges are ever so present but not issue anymore because with god, I AM ok, all is ok, I AM rich, I AM healthy and I AM worthy much more than yesterday! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Some days are a very low ebb, it's difficult to reach that positivity and feeling of happiness even when there's no reason to be down but I try and accept it's all part of the journey. Love to all

I got one for all of you! Try being a hardcore Blue Collar professional cowboy farmer Rancher background rough and tough your whole life. Muslin and working through everything with Force. Then transitioning to a meditating yoga performing person. You want to talk about friends who think you have gone nuts OMG! But it's been cool what I've learned is 90% of the yoga I do was the same stretches and things we did in sports. The meditating and meditation was the same mindful place I always tried to be when I was competing in sports to be in the moment. The Cowboys Sportsman Outdoorsman well I've always been home in nature and I've always loved being alone in nature so it all fits we just name it different things I just now at 66 realize all of this.
