"i'm a simple girl. i see books with chloe like a book and i add it to my cart" MOOD also i'd love to see a kdrama recommendations video!! ive added some you've talked about to my watch list but i'd love to hear all your recommendations🥺
I can’t even describe how much I’ve been loving the aesthetic of your vlogs recently 🤩🤩🤩 You are currently my favourite person to watch on youtube! Thank you for your videos 💗💗
the best feeling is seeing snippets of your culture in books 🥺❤️i'm so excited for cemetery boys to get the HYPE IT DESERVES!! also bb i'm so sorry to hear about your migraines 😞 i hope they get better soon.
🥺 when i have my migraine attacks, i can't read at all. It just gets worse 🥺 p.s. Loooove the way you annotate, love your annotated books, love the pages, love the penmanship, looooove you! 💕🥺
the way I just found your booktube today?? a crime 💗 this vlog was so *lovely* and I cant wait to binge watch all your content! get ready for lots of comments with me just showering u with compliments 💗 💗
A short story that no one cares about it but: I still remembered that when you vlog the weekly reading vlogs with HP and I was struggled because i want to read but IDK why id didn't anyway, because of you I finished the series, and every time I feel like I'm struggling I come directly to your channel so please don't go away for so long ok? ok bye
I loved your unboxing!! That pin is so cute 😍 I have A Deadly Education on my TBR and I'm really excited to read it!!! (and I can't wait to know your thoughts on it) and oooh I didn't have any idea of that hurtful parts, thanks so much for sharing!
I think your reading vlogs are officially my favorite. (also i think I should tell you that your little end card w Jimin made me a bts stan, so thank you 😗✌️)
@@throneofpages I forgot I commented this lmao. And I genuinely don’t know if I finished the drama. But I’ve been reading a ton of manga. I think my current favorite is attack on titan or Yona of the Dawn both are amazing
i devoured Flower of Evil. that week long wait for getting new episodes almost killed me. it was such a good kdrama and sooo underrated. Also the father-Daughter dynamic in that kdrama is my absolute favv. you should definitely do a kdrama rec i would loveeee to watch it.
this is sO LATE but i'm actually organizing all of the personalized kdrama recs i received over on instagram and i'll be making a video on it soon!! so if you're still here i hope you're looking forward to it 👉👈
tale of the nine-tailed is such an amazing kdrama!!!! I LOVE WICKED FOX AND VICIOUS SPIRITS SO MUCH. I found that grim reaper to be so much like the one in Goblin too! Vicious spirits is my most favorite of both books as well, it immediately pulled me in and I just loved Somin's one sided hate of Junu so much lmao.
hate to love we loVE TO SEE IT!!!!! I really wanna watch tale of the nine-tailed but it only has 3 episodes so far and I'm so impATIENT when it comes to waiting for new episodes; I think I'll have to wait for more episodes to come out so that I don't suffer too much x_x
Remember in one of your other videos, I said I had phasmophobia, fear of horror? I really enjoy movies/series/kdramas about serial killers and stuff. I'm not scared of blood or murder or psychopaths. I dunno why. I guess I'm just used to it since I watched my first serial killer series when I was 9 heheh
Have you read The Sword of Kaigen? That book seriously blew my mind away. I've yet to read any book like it... The characters and their circumstances are insaneee. Judging by your taste in books, I think you'll love it!! (it's also one of the highest-rated books on good reads, it's just very underrated :/)
You said little really exciting things and I thought that was exactly what I was feeling because my mom was showing symptoms of Coronavirus but she got better yesterday and I received new books! I'm also a big fan of wolves and I honestly really love your necklace. If I ever have the misfortune to be reborn as an animal in my next life, I would want to be a wolf.
Lol when u talked about Vicious Spirits and your current drama, I thought you were going to mention "Tale of the Nine Tailed", im just projecting my love of this drama (just as I finish this sentence, you talk about it.. This is funny so im not deleting haha)
i’ve never seen a kdrama in my life and you’re the only person i know of that watches them but i would definitely be down for a recommendation video lol edit: can you also mention where to watch them?
ok ok wait a second i didn’t know Vicious Spirits was focused on different characters?? I read Wicked Fox all in one day forever ago and have had the sequel on hold at the library for awhile now but i’m shocked! I never read synopsis for sequels because I don’t want to know anything going in so I guess missed that.
I don't like reading synopses either!! I was so surprised and I thought I was gonna have a harder time getting into new POV's and such but it was SO FUN
I've been thinking about reading Tokyo Ghoul for a little while now and after seeing your review, I think I'll finally give it a try!! As for recommendations--I know you read Uzumaki by Junji Ito and liked it a lot. You also read Frankenstein a couple of videos ago... have you considered trying Junji Ito's short story collection called Frankenstein? That's the overarching tale in the book but it also features some more weird/disturbing short stories in it too! Oh, and have you ever read the Saga graphic novels??
Ahhh I hope you love Tokyo Ghoul!! I recently ordered another Junji Ito and I’m so excited to delve into his twisted imagination again (and probably end up traumatized). I had seen his Frankenstein before but I didn’t know there were other short stories included, I must add it to my cart now. I’ve read the first volume of Saga but never continued on with the series 🤧 is it worth it?
@@throneofpages yeah the Frankenstein book has 10 additional short stories!! And I’ve been reading saga lately. I’m now on the last 3 books that are out and I’ve really enjoyed how all the books flow together and the interesting cast of characters. There are lots of losses too but I feel that it’s a great graphic novel series. Just didn’t know if you tried it yet ☺️
when you said you don't really watch kdramas that are thrillers or horror I wanted to ask you if you watched extracurricular. I literally loved it, I can't really watch kdramas so fast because every episode is so long and then I'm already drained haha. BUT I watched extracurricular in 2 days. I don't know if you know Nam Yoonsu but he is in extracurricular and he is outstanding and stunning.
I haven’t read Tokyo Ghoul but I did watch the anime. I stopped watched halfway through season 2 because it started dragging on. As for Korean dramas, YES PLEASE!! ❤️ I just finished watching all of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden and I wanna start a Korean drama. I would love to watch a suggestion video.
Apparently the anime deviates from the original manga and they ruin the story 🤧 I think I'm gonna stick to the manga only cause I would hate to see them butcher such an amazing manga!
I pre ordered a lot of books from Waterstones recently. I pre ordered the signed copy of Sabaa Tahir's new book coming out in September, This Winter by Alice Oseman (another signed copy), One by One by Ruth Ware which has snowflake sprayed edges and a exclusive edition of Holly Black's new book (which I cant remember what its called). Lots of pre orders 🥰🥰
Did you just spoil the death of the main character of Wicked Fox 😶 I would love to know your K-Drama recommendation :) I watch all my K-Drama on Netflix so It would be cool if some of them were on Netflix 🥰
ok first of all u watch dramas as well! how the hell do you manage your time with all this. Second I loooooove flower of evil and nine-tailed fox. if you like that eerie type of drama watch extracurricular, and sky castle ( sky castle is not really eerie but i think you will enjoy it)
back when it first came out i watched like the first 10 minutes of the first episode of extracurricular and got bored T___T i might give it a try later on when i finish the ones i'm currently watching though!! also i HAVE NO IDEA HOW I MANAGE MY TIME I THINK I'M SLOWLY LOSING MY MIND!!!!
it honestly looks sooo good and it has a lot of actors from other kdramas I've watched and fallen in love with. There's only 3 episodes out right now though so I think I'm going to wait a little longer because I am NOT a patient person 🤧
@@throneofpages lol I know the male protagonist comes out in another K drama that I love so much and my mom does as well it’s the Guardian: the lonely and great god. He is so amazing 😍
A deadly education is something I’m interested in reading so I can critique the racism and artistry and decide how bad it is. I love Naomi’s writing so I’ll see for myself I guess 🙆🏽♀️ but I hope it’s isn’t gonna piss me off
i heard the tokyo ghoul manga is WAY better than the anime, so i might pick up the manga but your girl do be broke doe. i do plan on spending a whole bunch of money on books and going broke again 😌✌️
i mean what's the point of money if it isn't to get things that make you happy 🤧also i heard the same thing!! apparently the anime deviates from the original story and they just ruin it so I think I might stick to the manga only 🤧
@@throneofpages i heard that too 😞 the first season was really good but the second season was pretty bad so i might switch to the manga and restart the series 😪
You read tokyo ghoul I loveeeeeee it You can finish one volume a day but there's a second season 😬 to the manga and the fact buying one volume every day is a yikes
K-dramas are korean tv shows made in south korea! they're pretty popular worldwide and they can be about any genre. Cop shows, coming of age stories, fantasy, you name it :)
@@authoressmonicalsmith They're in korean but they have english subtitles. There's a lot on Netflix which is where I first found them and also a website called Viki
