Girl you need to write a book about the warmed application of pre poo, cleansing hair, heating up water, deep conditioners, and sealing it again prior to adding the heat. I can't wait to try the technique! I love all of your video's!!!

You are so right about using an actual deep conditioner. I got into the habit of using a rinse out conditioner as my deep conditioner and I noticed my hair started to change react badly to that. Never again.

I did this last night using Shea Moisture C&H Line (Conditioner & Style Milk), JBCO, Coconut Oil & Cantu Deep Treatment Masque - OH MY DAYSSS, my hair was like butter, curls were poppin! I'm going to do this EVERY wash day!

I love your videos. I got the same bonet attachment and a new dryer but when I'm done deep conditioning my hair is still cold and sometimes just the back of my hair feels hot. I feel like wasting my time and products.

Hey Shlina1, I would like to know two things: 1. Did you find the Devacurl box at Sephora? 2. How do you feel about hair steamers? I heard that hair steamers are key for those with Low Porosity.

No to the box and streamers are amazing for low porosity because it help raise the outer layer of our hair so the product will penetrate

I think it will be easier to find the box online. Its called Devacurl Combs Down Curls Up or vise versa. omg loved this video I just found out I'm low porosity. It makes sense to warm the deep conditioner will do it the next wash routine. How much conditioner should you take out to warm up the conditioner for 20 seconds? Do you also warm your leave ins? Just want to get this porosity thing down pack.

I tried heating up my conditioner before applying it and letting it sit for a hour and I burnt a little bit of my scalp.... hair was very soft when rinsing tho.

My hair tracks the same in terms of growth. Do you find that you have parts of her head hair grows faster? For me the back bottom grows faster and the curls as drastically different,3b. So my wash n goes look like I have a weave in the lower half. Literally had someone question me.

No, we have to remove any build up on our hair for the deep conditioner to properly penatrate ... Have to clean the hair first!

That's true when you leave the deep conditioner in the microwave to longer. 30 seconds or less is all you need to warm up the conditioner for easier application

You are so welcome I have been on natural journey for a year I love it but my hair stay so dry I did do the porosity test and my strands stayed on top of the water lol
