Loved this. I'm attaching my present to my past negative outcomes and it's zapping all hope of reaching my potential. It's going to be so awkward and so uncomfortable, in the beginning, so pray for me I have the courage to follow through no matter what.

Wow That was hard to listen to, these people think they're making the world better. But they're really not much more intelligent then those of us that are actually doing real and productive, physical work, that put the food on their tables

Now tell the marginalised employees how to fix any problem at work.
@АлександрКондратенко-ф4с
It is quite interesting presentation, it is a new approach to practice at work, and it really changes the view to the problem nature for sure. However I don't really believe it will suit all the companies and employees. It will be probably taken as an experiment and who knows how it reflects on the current job)

Глупость - она такая, странная штука. Пока само не придет, не поймешь. А вот как придет, то тебе повезло. но к сожалению, большинство , как "уважаемый" выше человек, могут накакать себе в штаны, и быть радыми этому. Все в говне извазюканы, но улыбка до ушей, от того, что им кажется, что они правы, и грустно и смешно) for those English speaking guys who noticed that comment, dont waste your time translating that :)

Her backhanded jab at straight people is totally inappropriate & extremely unprofessional. WTF is going with Ted lately? They've gone completely off the high standards they used to have. Just put the information out & keep the gay agenda to yourselves. It's distracting & annoying. I don't see straight people using their sexual orientation to highlight the information they put out. I probably speak for lots of people when I say that I have nothing against gays. But announcing your sexual preferences publicly & often is unnecessary. It's private - keep it that way. Do you see straight people doing this at the same rate? Do you think you are above the rules of normal social conduct? Do you actually think anyone cares if you're gay? Why are you doing this? Do you expect special treatment?
@juliashearer7842
@juliashearer7842 Год назад
I disagree
@Sareaesque
@Sareaesque Год назад
What exactly was the jab? Straight people don't need to announce they're straight because it's assumed to be the default, if most people looked at someone they didn't know, the assumption would be that they were straight until they are given information otherwise. She made two references to her sexuality, when mentioning that she works with her wife in the area relevant to her talk, and as an example of opposite demographics who could speak to each other to learn about communicating with people with different lived experiences, both points were completely relevant to her talk. The only 'agenda' anyone in the LGBTQIA+ sphere has is to exist with the same opportunities and respect as anyone else, but if your immediate response to hearing that someone is 'other' in some way, is 'nothing against you but I don't want to see that' then you do have a problem because you only approve of them when you don't actually have to see and acknowledge that they exist.

Every time a man speaks about some beautiful girl in the room, he announced his sexual preferences. It' s omnipresent. We don't even notice that.
