i have summarized this video for easier take-outs. thank you Brian. great learning hope i get them correct. 5 steps to make your team feel appreciated 1.Learn to genuinely care 1.Take time, take practice, 2.everytime they think about you, they will smile. Everytime you call, they will embrace you. 2.Take a look at your leadership style 1.Golden rule management 2.Treat your employees the way that you want to be treated 3.Engage in everyday conversation 1.How were you doing? 2.Hows everything at home? 3.Hows your life? 4.Communicate your goals 1.Employee need to know that they play an important role in moving company forward 2.They need to know the bigger picture 3.Let them know how what they are doing helping the company reach those goals. 4.Long lunches and dinners for some teams to inform what is going on. 5.talk to them and ask questions, share goals, how the goals works for the teams, inviting inputs on the goals, the more they know on the goals, the more they feel appreciated and work towards the goals. 5.Challenge the employees 1.Getting a chance for flex their capabilities by tackling a challenge 2.Able to do, they will be more appreciated, 3.Give them room to achieve a more complex job and stand back
Ending 3 statements are great that shows the way. Instead of thinking about how are leaders are , this video shows how we can be great leaders and making sure that we have good number of engaged associates. Thanks for the video, truly showing the way. Would like to see the videos on employee engagement as well. Thanks you
Key takeaways that I've learned from your video: - Not only compliment when they do good at work but also appreciate them in their everyday lives - Engage with them in everyday conversations (How are u? How's your life?) -> Treat them as ordinary people, not a robot (only assign tasks) - Treat the team members as you want to be treated - Communicate with them about the goal of the whole team, and how their contribution plays a key role in the journey - Challenge them
Love to hear more about the different “leadership styles” mentioned in here ... I think my greatest challenge may be that i assume they think like me. :). Thank you!
Danny, that is great! Wow, I am so happy that I was able to inspire you. Best of luck to you - keep up your hard work and continue to build your business.
Bryan always help us a lot, he has this special experience and feeling to transmit the correct message, during i was working at Pepsico i used almost every day Brian's recomendations ... Rewards from Mexico..
Gosh this is so hard to do! I'm a new supervisor/trainer and sometimes it takes every ounce of me to do these things because so many people take advantage of our job and we dont have properly trained people to do things so here I am looking at RU-vid videos of how to be a good supervisor because now i have to learn how to reprimand an employee that everyone is tired of working with
Hello sir, i am indian boy, you inspired me,I read your book, 'goals' in my Gujarati language,it is very useful to achieve my goal, thanks for this video.
This is definitelily a must share. Thank you Bryan for sharing these gems speciallybthe "GOLDEN RULE." It actually applies to all aspects of our lives. Do unto others what you want to be done unto you.😊
It was a very valuable teaching. Thanks a lot. We would like to hear more about team building from you. We know that a few ordinary people can be great together.
Thank you for your guidance so much. I am really really impressed by the mantra: If you want to change your future, take action, take action, now. Best wishes to you :)
Thanks a lot... currently this is my current situation to cope with to build confidence into my colleagues for me..it is going to be really helpful.. thanks
Excellent video Brian, great stuff! Team building can be challenging and it can also be a lot of fun. I have found highlighting peoples unique skill sets and including them where they fit is often a great strategy. Interactive practices too, are a great investment, whether physical, virtual, or something to revisit, it gives them something that keeps them coming back for more. Little things mean a lot, and so does thoughtfulness and consideration.
Hello Brian ;) again superb advice from You, great work, really, really appreciate what You're doing. My quiestion is this. Is there a smooth way to smoothly suggest yours manager to get to know thease technics? not to make an impression that you develuate or undermine him? Thank You
Hi MR. Brian and thank you so much for your shares and videos. I am learning a lot from them. I have a serious question; well actually it’s serious for me not for every body... I found out just a couple of days before that our high level management group, you know the General Manager, CEO.. you get the point, although that I work a lot since I speak five languages I happen to handle the import and export transactions, answer customers, do the translation business between my managers and our customers, handle the contact business between our company and the companies we import from and a lot of stuff that even don’t have to do anything with my department at all.... ,I must say that it's quite common here in Turkey for managers to ask their employee to carry more than 50 water melons at once. and i dont want to waist your time by counting them... Even all this our high level management group think that I am not working at all. Don’t misunderstand me I am not saying I am a victim of my direct managers I never thought that way about myself, well of course there is somebody saying that I am not working in the first place .. I needed to be sure first.. So I went to our general manager’s office and I asked directly. Like look, I heard that (SOMEBODY) is going around (like she doesn’t do anything all day long), is that true? HE said well yes.. He is even looking for somebody to take your place... I went ohm ok, thank you.. I know myself and I know that I am doing my job well done and i dont get the point why they say that i don't.. But here is the question that I am trying to find an answer for.. Do I need to carry on and just try to prove somehow that I am doing my business well done to my General Manager...? Or shall I quit and just find a new job? (And I don’t like that word that says quit..). I don’t have the habit of throwing the towels and giving up that easy especially when I am sure that I am at the right track... What is your advice for me, or in other words what would Mr. Brian do if he was in this situation? if i may say ? Thank you so much in advance for giving me your time and answering me.. Be safe and healthy..
Big big hug Sir🌸🎼❤️We are very lucky to have you with us❤️❤️❤️This video touches my heart. Big hug again 🙂Everybody in my RU-vid channel is awesome 💐Thank you for everything always Sir🧚🏻♀️
I hope to receive a reply from you SIr, I appreciate your video it provided many good information. Our GM likes to micro manage and the workplace environment I'm now in became toxic/hostile. Everybody displays angry faces from clocking in and out of work. How to solve this issue? Can you help? Thank you and have a nice day.
Only the truly competent individual can be free of politics in an organization. When you’re really good at what you do, you can rise above politics. I have written an article that might be helpful for you: bit.ly/33vQTfF
The old slave - master type of job relationship is still the most prevalent. Which gives any company the advantage if they take Brians advice. I've seen too much of it in my life to say anything much more without letting it all loose. Quit hiring jerk bosses and supervisors that treat people like slaves and get a sick power trip out of it. You are rewarding them for being sadistic. Treat employees like they count for something.
Financial stress is a common cause of turnover among employees. More than half are not engaged in their work due to worry about their finances. 28% blame their employer for their financial woes. Most think the only solution is a different job with better pay. And this is why many leave. There is a free printable poster for the workplace which connects troubled employees with financial assistance agencies. Here's a pdf: @t
Brian Tracy: First, Learn to genuinely care and appreciate your employees…also Brian Tracy 1 minute later…all of my people were incompetent so I fired them all. 🤔
in my place all in leadership were promoted because they were friends with the ones in the ladders. nasty personality, charisma of a roach, loud, unable to listen, no sympathy, treated people like robots not even like a beast of burden. people died in the office and their response was the show must go on, don’t look to the fallen ones. ☹️ getting the FO , low morale
Hi brian, can i have your email address i have a situation where i would love to have your views on i will be grateful if you could spare some time for me.
