Could you also tell us how to prevent ageing of the trek shoe, especially when not in use? I hadn't use trek boots during 2 years of covid, and now when I started using it, the rubber of sole started to break into small pieces.
@@mailsaurabhmistry You have to resole it. PU and rubber will deteriorate when not in use. Faster in tropical humid climate. You have to use it once in every week, not necessary a trek
My shoes were exposed to sunlight and now the adhesive is loose and cracks on surface. Wish I had seen this video earlier. How can I fix my shoes before my har ki dun trek
After all the cleaning and waterproofing is complete and the shoe may not get used until next trek..which might be sometime.... How do we store it.... Kindly help me here
Hi Rashmi, you can store the trek shoes in well ventilated and dry place. Away from direct sunlight. If you will not be using the shoes for a long time, then you can stuff newspaper inside the shoes to retain the shape and avoid silica gel to avoid any kind of odour.
