Look on the Book "Guide To Investing", it talk about all kinds of investors there are, even in the stock market. First suggestion is to look into it. Second, always remember that is better to invest yourself because you learn more, even if you make mistake along the way. If you give it to the broker "expert" in most cases he doesn't care if you lose it all, he only cares about his commission. If he is genuine that ask him if he also has his own money investing, if he does not, than he's just a salesman. Third, remember that the taxes are charge for 2 fronts here, 1. tax for every stock movement and 2. For earning. I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. @@4homemail I think people are missing the point. He's not being arrogant or oversimplifying - he is stating basically that you need not be greedy. Listen to the part before he makes this statement - "we don't know if it is the top, but it is close enough". He is stating that the profit is strong enough to make it worthwhile to sell, don't hold on too long because you're afraid you'll miss out on more profit, if you've made strong enough gains, step away and reap the rewards. Example: you buy 1 share of Bitcoin at $3000 back when it was really cheap. When it hits $15,000 you and many others sell. Because 500% gains are hard to walk away from. Nobody can see the future, so who knew it would eventually hit $60k+. But if you took profits at $15k, even though you did not texhnically maximize your return, you still walk away a winner. If you always walk away a winner, you'll never be a loser. You'll never go broke.

The problem with the rent control laws (Oregon and California) is that they pass the law to control the rent but not the property tax, so as an investor why should I buy an apartment building when the property tax will go up each year but I can't rais the rent? @@andreiandy6097 passive income is hard work. Using the excuse that you have no money is just an excuse. Start small and do the research and slowly watch the money grow. It won’t happen overnight or years even. It takes time but once the snowball starts rolling it grows rather quickly.
Absolutely. I didn’t have much in this, but I started with $5000 here and there when it was above $50k….when it dropped to below $40k, I was investing a lot more…stacking sats at a discount…I’ve got around $130,000 invested in this far and plan on more over time.

How does all this work? How do I get started? Where is the starting line? What is required to start? Do I need helpers? Do I need a certain credit score? Do I need cash to start? How do I find a mentor, a coach, a leader?? Is there a starting class or starting course? My problem is I don't know anything and that is holding me back. Please help.

@LagiNaLangAko23 You just have to make sure if you're going to be a real estate agent, it's not because it's the "Trending job" right now. You really have to want it. When I started in 2011 as an investor, felt like there were 5 agents in my market. Now it feels like I can't go anywhere without someone being a new agent, and it all happened right after the market starting rising again in 2015.
@LagiNaLangAko23 I'm in the same boat! I'm still going to commit to the process of becoming an agent though. I see it as a big learning opportunity for running a little (or big) business, and, such as you said - possibly having access to advantageous info in the event of a crash.

I met Sam Walton of Walmart in 1991. He told us to find a business plan that makes money on a regular basis and just repeat, repeat , repeat. When you get on the NYC stock exchange it will grow as fast as you can manage it. Words of wisdom. I was a truck driver for a family related business. Yes, he did take truck divers out for dinner.

of course. it's more or less a hands off approach to trading. it's been existing for a long time just that recently with more people getting into online technologies, partly due to the pandemic that made most of us more tech savvy. not really about doing it right, its more about copying trades from the right people. etoro has good traders. you can check them out
