Bro 😂 this actually helped me when I was looking for suit combos.I got everything for around $1200 ( I already have nice dress shoes and boots) Finally got a job where what I look like matters Steve Harvey wasn’t lying 😂 it wasn’t till my man here visualized it that I understood
It’s very important to mention shoes since that is a key player in this. The shoes ties it all together. If the shoes don’t match, you will look slightly odd. Black shoes do go with almost everything and so do the brown shoes.
Shoes and belt always same color. The color you choose should be light/dark brown or black 99% of the time. A white or creme belt can work but in very specific combos and you will wear them so rarely its not even worth it. I hope this helps, it's barely intermediate.
Glad I stumbled onto this video. Seeing it done makes a world of difference. They need to literally have him do all the combinations in a video and my fashion challenged (and don’t really care to be deep into fashion, but just as far as suits go) ass will be set for life 😂😂😂!!!
Yes, but it’s only 3 shirts colors, 5 pant colors, and 5 jacket colors. So thats 75 combinations. If you added 3 more shirt colors then you would have 150 combinations.
@@elneserato3766 it’s not a lot considering they last a lifetime. With suits if they don’t fit you can even adjust them with most clothes like T-shirt’s and jeans that no longer fit most people just throw it away suits are more investments . And how you look correlates with how you feel and who wouldn’t want to always feel and dress good?
I dig seeing all these young men suiting up!, Honestly...I think the Black Suit first is not the move...Navy and Charcoal grey are WAY more versitle than a black suit...You can wear a dark grey or navy blue suit in almost every situation you can wear a black suit...but there are a ton of situations where the black suit would be too formal... Traditionally, Black Suits are for black tie events or funerals...Grey and Navy are Business atire and Earthy colors i.e. Brown, Forrest Green etc. Are for sporting or outdoors...Hence the "No brown in town" rule...
Sweet! Can you give us what these would cost in total? Where do o even shop for a nice slim fitting suit? I haven’t owned a suit since I was a kid. And back then they weren’t very firm fitting.
I get all my suits and ties at thrift stores. Don't laugh. I get nothing but compliments. These are all neutral colors. That's why they work. Compliment that with the right color tie.
Yes. Black is unnecessary as it's too formal and mainly for weddings and funerals. A charcoal grey can pull off what black can do, but it's more appropriate for other situations. I recently wore navy to a funeral and actually got a lot of compliments on my suit.
I promise im not trying to make this a race argument, but does this work for thinner white males, or would u suggest other colors? I have never liked the way Brown looked on me tbh.
This is good advice if this is your style. When i was in retail banking suit 'n' tie was my daily wardrobe. Years later still in financial services as a securities broker I work in an office building and no public contact so after years of monkey suit no more ties and the rise of khakis with dress down Fridays im the summer. I moved on to IT and wearing jeans on the regular. Last three year now WFH so most ties dress pants and shirts went to goodwill. Kept just enough for job interview if need arises.
