Torghast can be entered through Ve’Nari’s Sanctuary in the Maw, you just have to do a couple quests for her to unlock it

I don't think that's true. I've recently ran all the torghast dungeons picking epic ecerytime I saw it always flawless

Unless its been adjusted I took every Epic power and always got Flawless.

@@kingty5596 Its both true and untrue. Both of those (besides anything with obleran) add bonus score points but dont take away points so you could get flawless anyways but it can help push over as well.

Ah, the good ol black serpant of nzoth 😄 fun fun fun times! I miss BFA. It was easily one of the best xpacs for me, and who doesn't miss 18% beams? Or super strong arcane stars hahaha

I attempted that back in the day because I wanted to mount up in torghast...but when they made mounting available in torghast I was like meh. Then realized that it's not going to be unique at all and will be reskinned and placed back into the game. And look, that's exactly what blizz did. :)

@@izicadet9819 Weapon and shoulders exist in torgahust. Weapons are mostly bought from the vendors for like 600 phantasma and shoulders are mostly boss drops. These were added in 9.1 and 9.2

This is a very common thing, to play old content and wonder why ppl hated it. People do that even with WoD. Subjectively the story/main quest in every expac is amazing but unless you played it live you’ll never understand how the borrowed power or systems at the time made you feel so weak and throttled. I remember WoD and how limited it was just the same as I remember BFA and experiencing the Neck talents, and in shadowlands the MAW/torghast was a complete cluster F. They were NOT fun when they were live. Edit: oh an btw in the maw you couldn’t even mount for the longest time which is why u seek out those mountables that’s a one time use and they disappear, imagine trying to explore that place in war mode 😂.. great times

People whined about the grind & whatnot, but I really think a major issue was constantly playing what was (as you mentioned) a darker-toned xpac during Covid isolation, which in turn experienced development delays so patches stretched on & on. Mood was an under-discussed factor with Cata as well, as it portrayed tremendous suffering/displacement as a global economic recession was unfolding, making it not great for escapism. Every xpac has a bunch of enjoyable content, so anyone trying to boil playerbase disgruntlement down to just one explanation is ignoring how it's always a bunch of different contributing factors. I don't enjoy raiding & stopped trying to make myself do it at the end of Wrath, so no grinds are "required" for me and thus I loved every minute of Shadowlands.

With a "good" Torghast class (Havoc DH, Resto Shaman), sub-10 minutes if you get the 1-2 god-tier powers early.

Yeah, you need to go through the SL base Story, and then an NPC will give you a Questline for the Torghast

Completely agree. After I got my 500th I just don't care anymore. They should give a cheevo and reward for evey 100 at least, but every 50 would be better.

In dragonflight i would duo legion raids, so im sure you can solo it now

Legion raids and Legion content in general is very possible to do solo in Dragonflight. The only thing I can think of is that some of the raids mechanically are tricky solo, like I still haven’t been able to get past Eonar in Antorus, the Burning Throne by myself, but otherwise the bosses even on Mythic are doable.

Every Mythic Legion raid is easily soloable except Antorus due to Eonar. Quite a few mythic bosses could be done solo even back in BFA, I remember soloing Mythic KJ on my DH.

I just did it based on his explanation, so 🤷‍♂️

@@mplh89 then you accidentally got lucky, if u pick the wrong anima power ups or 2x it doesnt count, and you dont need to do flawless on every level either + a few other things he failed to mention XD

'easier' doesn't necessarily imply 'easy'. it's easier to climb mount everest with a group than it is to climb solo, but climbing everest is still mega-hard

LAYER 4. There are floors and there are layers. They are not the same and there is no "level 4". Each layer has i think 5 floors (except for twisting corridors that has 18 floors!!). If you are doing layer 1 and expecting a mount to drop on floor 4, not gonna happen. You have to be doing "Layer 4' and complete it.
