Heck invulnerability doesn't mean exemption from pain. I mean you can put your hands in hot water and not have them burn, but you still notice that the water was hot. An increase in durability is not a decrease in sensation necessarily.
Invulnerability doesn't mean you can't feel things, it just means they don't harm you. Superman still feels bullets when they hit him, or heat from fire, they just don't cause him any physical harm. Like how you can feel a ball of paper hit you, but it doesn't have the force to hurt you, or how you can feel a warm bath, but it doesn't burn your skin.
the only problem with that is the tougher you get, the more pressure needs to be applied to you for you to feel it. For example as a baby if a parent even accidentally sways their arm and hits you lightly, the baby will probably cry. As an adult you probably wouldn't even feel it or very lightly and definitely painless if you do. So imagine that x like 10 billion where not even a train hitting you can leave a mark. Since the lighter you touch something the less you feel it if you are tough as a god you might not feel anything that normal people do anymore.
The threshold of feeling things probably goes up as you get stronger. If you can take a bomb explosion and not be scratched at all with it, would it be even possible to feel a tiny touch?
Super strength: there are a lot of characters that have super strength can control there power even to make them normal human level they don't need to keep concentrating all the time Invulnerability: invulnerability doesn't mean that you don't feel anything it simply means that strong physical impact on your body won't affect you, you will still feel the pain but it won't affect your body Mind reading: why the hell in the world would I tell people that I have super power Super speed: when speedsters are not using there powers the time will pass normally for them as there body speed is normal, and some characters like flash have a speed force shield around him to warp reality and to not affect the physics of the world
Mind reading: comes in MANY different forms too. Reading and sharing thoughts, memories &emotions, projecting imaginative images to another person's head, mind manipulation, mind control, the list goes on from what I know.
@@kleosphronesis The Flash is protected by the speed force, he's not just moving really fast he's channeling kinetic energy from the speed force. That's why he doesn't cause sonic booms everywhere he goes, kinetic energy is being used at near maximum efficiency.
You can control your strength in the real world, so it stands to reason that you could control your super strength in the real world as well. Even so, the whole “sleeping thing” is a good argument.
im gonna have a problem with you i HATE DC i like MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEL i like quick silver is what im trying to say
Tane Wells actually that would happen if you are running with no control if you are jogging or sprinting yet still knowing what you are doing u would be fine
I dissagree with the super strong argument. I mean, you can control your strength. For example, you can hold an egg without pressing it so hard it breaks. So the same would happen if you had super strength, you could still hold an egg because you are simply not using so much force.
Mortum but instead you are more then 1,000 times stronger then usually so you probably WOULD break everything at first (unless there is something that let’s you control when you can go full and normal)
I was thinking the same thing. I mean there are strong men who pretty much have super strength and they are perfectly fine in day to day life. Brian Shaw said in a q n a that he can control his strength perfectly fine
Just try this try touching your friend's (I didn't mean that messed up kid) skin lightly keep attempting lightly until they dont feel anything, how much tries did it take you?Now imagine that 1000 times harder...It would take years to control it like how you can control it now basically it is possible to touch a person so softly that they won't even notice because it was very soft and you can touch softly and they might feel it but it is very hard to control this for a human, you'd have to go through intense training to interact properly with people and objects and no one has time to waste on that.....
Nah cause speedsters in both Marvel and DC have more than just super speed. They can control how they preceive time. So when the Flash runs across the ocean, he sees it about the same speed we see it. But when he runs through a city, he sees it at a slightly slower speed then everyone else but still fast. When a bomb goes off, he sees it at a speed a lot slower than us because he is moving so fast. When he isn't running, he sees things the same way we do.
Specifically I want the flash’s powers not super speed, super speed wouldn’t work without the speed force. When we discuss marvels speedsters they aren’t even fast compared to DCs speedsters so this would be specifically DC speedster powers if you want good super speed powers. The flash is a god honestly we just never expect him to use his powers like one.
@@_greenrunner_ diseases take control over the cells on your body in diferent various ways. So they would literally not be affected by an invulnerable cell, instead they would evolve into a better, unstoppable, unkillable disease.
@@lugoorstar you assume that the vira or bacteria would even be able to takeover the cell to begin with. You speak of how the cells are invulnerable to harm, so why exactly would they harm it?
@@_greenrunner_ you are assuming that taking over a cell is "harm" when it's mostly harmless and causes no malfunction, the malfunction comes when the cell that was applied whith the virus willn't be killed by the body's immune system, because of the cells being impervious to harm, so any disease on a invulnerable human would result in what would literally be cancer, following whith death because of the shear quantity of nutrients your body is taking on trying to kill indestructible parts if itself and also the infected cells multiplying. Also they would catch cancer in under 1 month anyways because of their bodies being unable to kill the deformed millions of cells that would've been born in the last few days
Super powers would be like any other ability. You would learn to adjust. Most likely with invisibility your body would adjust to protect itself. Simply put, trying to combine real world logic with fantasy is pointless and stupid. Any reality where super powers exist would most likely have someone who would have a mind to overcome the basic problems. The Marvel super genius Forge. Advanced intelligence.
No it doesn’t. It’s not an episode. Ben didn’t make the saying. We all know that saying, shut up. Just because you need to be responsible doesn’t mean you can change the laws of physics and/or science.
brownwingedangel Invulnerability basically means you don't feel pain, it can deflect SOME injuries but definitely not all. But there are limits to every power so if you are invulnerable from EXTERNAL effects your INTERNAL effects can still kick in.
@@violetraven8323 Invulnerability has nothing to do with no pain. It means you are incapable of being harmed. The dude in the video got it wrong l. An example of this is Superman, when ever he is hit by anything he shows signs of pain. But if you were to have that your whole life, there is a good chance you would grow resistant to the pain, probably why Superman can brush off bullets but feels pain from stronger weapons.
The show is very inconsistent about the shockwave. In literally every episode, you see papers and wind blowing by whenever he uses his superspeed and in some cases the shockwave can be big enough to destroy property like the windows of cars or buildings. In other cases, there is no shockwave at all and pedestrians and property are fine. It's just whatever the writers feel like.
@@GAdmThrawn well the difference is when barry leaves star labs or his ccpd lap he doesnt start off at his usual speed. Running in a straight line outside is when he starts going really fast he doesnt jus go mach 3 in the cortex jus because he speeds out. you are wrong about super strength. it wouldn't be too much different than how we are now. for example, very weak humans can still hold a piece of toilet paper in their hands and tug on it without ripping it. they can also tug on it and rip it. very strong humans can tug it both to rip it and not to rip it as well. having access to more strength doesn't mean you will automatically not be in control of it. your control will increase to accommodate the increased strength. another example. maybe someone who is at the gym and the maximum weight they can bench press is 20 pounds vs someone who can bench 500 pounds. just because the stronger guy can bench 25x more weight doesn't mean he will send the 20 pounds to the ceiling by accident because he is too strong. it just means he has access to more strength.
It would be much different. Its SUPER strength. It doesn't matter if you're built like a twig. And even Mr. Incredible. Who's been like that fir god knows how long, still messes up. He managed to bend metal without trying
So, you throw your phone out of rage. Ut might crack, and at most the back panel will come off. With super strength, that phone will either A. Shatter B. Go through the wall C. Break in your hand from the throw
@@hunterhutchings2784 that's different. i was talking about people actively using their strength. not how much force they use in situations where they react without thinking. even i almost broke my old keyboard when i was reacting to a situation that happened in a video game. the point is when i am controlling my strength i can use the keyboard without breaking it, or i can purposely use enough strength to break it. just having super strength doesn't mean they will always have little to no control of their strength.
steve hogan or just use it to find out things you want to know and if you think what there mind is saying might hurt you just dont read there mind simple you have the power to control it
Wow thanks for ruining all the coolest super powers😂. Also with super speed, at least for the DC speedsters I believe they are able to channel the speedforce when they want/need to, so they aren’t constantly observing everyone else as super slow. Plus they don’t always have a super high metabolism that requires them to eat like a hundered tacos😄
In the series, I think Barry himself said that when he is around other people he has to move and talk very slowly. So, they can't adjust their power as they will.
One of my coworker told me she wants mind reading power and I joked saying “So you can invade people personal space and bubble “ she laughs and said “No so I can see what they’re thinking “ Other guy “that invading their personal space “ 😂😂😂
01:36 "reflect off our eyes... instantly become blind" Well, half right. Stimilation of rod and cone cells comes from absorption (not reflection) of light. When specific wavelengths are absorbed, the optic nerve is stimulated sending a pin-point of visual data to the brain. If the absorbed light but not reflected, you sould see two small black dots moving around. You are correct in the outcome: by definition, an invisible person neither reflects nor absorbs light, therefore, their rods and cones would not be stimulated. Good video.
But what if that isnt the only way to appear invisible? What i mean is the way you explain it is the power affect your oqn body like a chameleon...but what if the power effect everyone around you changing their vision or whatever so they cant see you?
@@gedeyogam9096 Good point. Professor X and Jean Grey have done that many times. For people relatively close you could see and not be seen. That would be telepathy rather than true invisibility. And only works on people you know are there within your "psychic range". Imagine breaking into a secure base with guard towers visible 1/2 mile in several directions with an unknown # of guards... sounds risky unless your "telepathy invisibility" is automatic/no effort. Even Jean and Charles were shown grunting and straining just to "blind" a few people at close distance.

@@gedeyogam9096 Not sure how Sue Storm works. The other ways to be invisible, which I think Needle Mouse overlooked, is to either bend light around you (this is what The Predator does) or project the visual image of whatever is in line-of-sigh behind you onto your enemy-facing side. James Bond's invisible car in "Die Another Day" worked this way. These are imperfect, more camo then invisible and have distortion effects. But you could allow more light in then with invisibility. You could actually see The Predator's eyes at the right angle.
All have explanations for why they are good and wouldn’t causen problems 1. Invisibility is not intangibility so you can still receive light 2. you can control strength 3. Most heroes can choose when they read someones minds as they develop and control their abilities 4.invulnerability means no damage to your body so no toothaches or other stuff 5. watch the flash for all info on super speed In short get educated
All of these explanations are absolutely stupid. "1. Invisibility is not intangibility..." I'm sorry, have you ever looked out a window in your life? (what am I saying?, you probably don't even leave your room) Light passes through it just fine, but you can still touch it. "2. you can control strength" Sure, you can control your own strength, but that requires superhuman dexterity: a thing that not many superheroes explicitly have. Even worse, the pressure your hand puts on large objects will punch through them instantly. Imagine lifting a car but instead having it fall around you. You're super strong, you don't control weight. "3. Most heroes can choose when they read someones minds as they develop and control their abilities" Even if you can turn on and off your mind reading ability, the mind you're trying to read would get drowned out by everyone else's internal monologue. Even if you can choose who to read, it's not like anyone thinks clearly, songs get stuck and repeat themselves, memories fade in and out, words are spoken faster than you can even understand. "4.invulnerability means no damage to your body so no toothaches or other stuff" You cannot get damaged by anything, not even a vaccine. Viruses don't really damage anything, they just multiply and multiply to take over your body. Or even better, what if you got stuck in a situation you couldn't escape? How will you get out? What if you need to cut your leg off to get out from under a large rock? Even then, feeling nothing would be pretty mundane, and insanity caused by repetitiveness isn't physical damage. "5. watch the flash for all info on super speed" There are other superheroes than the Flash who don't have his Speed Force. Even if they did, you've watched the show, they need to eat billions of calories a year, more food than the average man can buy every month. It'd be expensive at least. And exhaustive or starving at most. In short, get educated. (and use proper grammar, commas are important)
I'm kinda confused to why invisibility makes you blind All invisibility does is makes you invisible and unsee-able, but still in the solid state of matter since we are still able to wear clothes and touch others (according to movies) and light cannot go through solids which means that light is still able to bounce off our eyes. Perhaps invisibility just works on the outside layer of our body, which is why we aren't able to see the inside of an invisible person's body and the only way to see inside while they're invisible is to cut them open as they are invisible. Im sorry if this didn't make sense, i tried my best to explain why i think this
@@chmchn but why would it be passing through you? you’re not becoming untouchable or changing your state of matter. you would still be like any other human being but now nobody can see you, so light would still be able to reflect off your eyes..
@Papegojhan Tom Holland spoils a lot about movies so they don’t give him a script but if he had mind reading he could read minds to find out the script and he would spoil it. That joke really does not need to be explained.
Why does everyone think that speedsters can’t slow down?, the flash doesn’t always move and think at super speed, it only happens when he wants to. If you remember the episode “flash time”, Jesse Quick said that as they slow down everything else speeds up, it happened to Jay while he was in flash time and Barry saw him slow down.
The speed problems are solved in the quicksilver scenes in x men. He can not only control his own speed and perception of time, but also what is around him. According to physics, everyone he touched should have died, but he controlled the force of gravity and inertia on them, so they were barely affected.
This video says that you don’t get the other powers tacked on to make them work. With speed all you get is that speed and from our understanding of insane speed it would SUCK.
@@Chilling_pal_n01anad91ct ya it does suck at that. But speed would suck, with 0 other powers it sucks. Like I believe the video is going off the assumption that you ONLY get that 1 power. If you're still suffering from heart attacks and toothaches then you're not really invulnerable, right? How would you not feel an explosion in your hands but "live in agony" from a toothache?
Time travel would probably not work. Imagine you travel back in time to prevent World War II. Your mission is successful and you travel back to the present. Now you live in a world where World War II never happened. Therefore, there would be no reason for you to travel back in time. Your journey has never happened, World War II was not prevented and everything is like it was. So you would have a reason to travel back again and everything repeats.
@@clara_corvus Except that wouldn't be real time travel. That is a mistake people always make. Why bother travelling back to prevent it. You already know you will be unsuccesful. Because it happened. As you grow up, you hear this story. One day you want to see what happens if you create a time paradox. So you travel back in time to kill your grandfather, and end up in his childhood. You attack him with a knife, though he managed to escape. You get to travel back home, knowing you were the person who you heard in your grandfather's story. I don't know if time travel is possible. Invulnerability - You can't be hurt or damaged. You are not immune to anything special or unspecial except pain. You cannot be pierced or anything along those lines. Basic touch is probably not included in the pain scale considering it usually isn't painful. If this superpower were in our real world it should be just plain unbreakable (not super numb). Otherwise it'd be called "super numbness" not "invulnerability". Immunity - No more health problems and no more poison. You are not immune to pain or death. Immortality - All conditions of every day life apply. The difference is you live forever under all circumstances. This should keep everybody from getting confused.
Being Batman would eat up most of your free time. You’d have to spend a double digit number of hours training your physical body in several disciplines. When that’s over, you need to be spending the rest of your time studying engineering, mathematics, chemistry, physics, several languages, criminal forensics, and whatever discipline that allows comic book science. Say goodbye to comfort food, as your diet will likely be composed of food specifically designed to keep your body in tip-top shape. As Batman is always prepared, you’ll need make sure to run a diagnostic on ever piece of equipment you own, from your car to your helicopter to your computer (both hardware and software) to your home security. This will take, say, thirty minutes per day (minimum), or else risk something breaking down because you were sure enough to leave it unchecked. Be sure to have lots of fuel for your Batmobile, which is usually depicted driving a long way before getting into the city. The closest figure I could get comes from the ‘66 TV show, in which the drive from the cave to Gotham City is about 14 miles. Be sure you’re not being tailed! Batman is well trained, but is not fast or invulnerable like Superman. Be prepared to shrug of hundreds of bruises, cuts, lacerations, bullet wounds, and even needle stickings. With any luck, you won’t be encountering violent crime every night, so the least you’ll have to deal with is sore muscles from the extensive rooftop runs and acrobatic swings. Good luck getting up in the morning!

You can control your strength now, so why would it be any different if the amount of strength you had was significantly greater( a good point would’ve been if your body can’t handle the strain of your strength like Deku from MHA). Mind reading is a power that requires activation( you don’t see professor X always hearing thoughts, he has to personally activate it.) Invulnerability usually comes with not getting hurt, not just the lack of feeling pain like Ajax from Deadpool or Kick-a**, Luke Cage is bullet proof but enough force and he is able to feel. Finally with super speed you can slow down. The problem with speed is your body can only take up so much friction at a high enough speed that it could kill you( counter to that is speed force which is explained in dc comics), and in reality if you could survive that speed you wouldn’t be able to see at intense speeds because your moving so fast, unless you could control the rate you can see with your speed( which every comic speedster has)
I agree with every part but there's another down side with speed if your running to fast, barley or no oxygen would enter your system there for could kill you. (Don't use it to much get some oxygen)
Callum Cliff not just that also the bugs would cause problems if you running at the speed of light how bugs would hurt you is because they would go through you and make bullies size holes from running into bugs
Charles Robinson say you a smacked a twig against steal it would break even though the steel did not move. My point is that it does not matter if the bugs are moving slower than you you would be running and then you hit a bug the bug is dead but you have a small hole in you. Also if that doesn’t make you not want super speed is the tunnel vision you get for going so fast this mean you will only see in front of you.
So mind reading is the most practical power in the real world, Since all you gotta do is not tell anyone The worst that could happen is you'd become really depressed and commit suicide
IDK :p Or just don't read certain minds, unless you're in trouble or some shit. You can control your powers, people don't understand that simple fucking fact.
A lot of these downsides are just self control based which most people wouldn’t have too much of problem with, I have a feeling that invulnerability might make you unable to have problems that would require surgery or at least make it very hard for those illnesses to affect you, and invisibility could be you reflecting light like a mirror instead of letting light go through you allow you to have more like active camouflage and allowing you to see.
edit: I'M TIRED OF IDIOTS. READ THOUGH THE CHAIN BEFORE COMMENTING. Old:For invisiblity, you can learn to echo locate and "see" that way. People who can see visible light can learn it. Also invisiblity could also be bending light around close to your skin. This way you just need tight clothing.
Or maybe you change color like a chameleon? Or maybe there can be enough light reflecting off your eyes that you can see? Or maybe your eyes could be absorbing photons so that the visual images can be processed in your brain but your photons wouldn't go to other people?
Have you read the book "Things Not Seen?" Bobby was invisible through the whole book but he was not blind. His girlfriend Alicia was blind, but she wasn't invisible. The real problems in the book is Bobby's parents not wanting him to go to school in his condition because they are afraid of people dissecting him, but that paranoia was just getting them in trouble with the truant officer because Bobby's been invisible for so many weeks that he's been racking up too many absences.

Your wrong with super strength, you’re super strong but it’s not like you can’t be gentle, your making it seem like you have to be really strong all the time. Also if your invulnerable and you “can’t feel anything” how can you feel stuff like tooth ache
invulnerability noun the quality of being impossible to damage or hurt in any way. Cancer, any invulnerable character or invulnerability applied in real life would die, because it would be invulnerable cells, consuming the person's nutrients, meanwhile being literally unstoppable. This is the simplest example and mostly common in the *real world* . Also when didn't he say that you wouldn't be able to be gentle? The problem that he mentioned is that you would be obligated to be totally gentle all the time, and trying to evade any possible accidental contact whith any object/person.
@@lugoorstar For a cancerous cell to start it must be damaged. Any internal organ failure would not kill you or hurt you cause you are immune to pain. Really strong, or in other words buff, people have to hold back their strength as well. It’s very easy to hold back.

It's literally that easy. Your cells barriers/bindings being unable to separate to the point you can't get hurt would mean that the thousands of cells that their body would produce monthly wouldn't be destroyed by their cells (or even by normal self destruction) and the tumors could easily overgrow to the point the person turns into a walking tumor who needs to be force fed to not die. Invisibility: Being invisible doesn’t make you blind if you have literal superpowers. Maybe your eyes will be able to be seen but you can’t see them if you are covering it or you are looking at them from the back. That still would count, like that video game ROBLOX. Your face can be seen when you are invisible with gears but you can’t see it if you are behind. And clothes, maybe there would be a bonus for your invisibility reaching out through whatever you touch, making it possible for a group of people to be invisible or your clothes. Super Strength: You wouldn’t break everything around you, since you could most likely control your strength. Alcohol also is inaffective to most superheroes, just look at the Flash. He needs a special type of alcohol to get drunk. Invulnerability: I get your point man. I have no arguments for invulnerability. Mind Reading: You could hide your powers but continue to use them. For example, Flash uses his super speed to solve cases for his detective side of his life. Super Speed: Speedsters can control their speed. And Speedsters in the Flash like you mentioned get their powers from the Speed Force, a different dimension. Your shockwave goes into the speedforce, meaning the shockwaves wouldn’t affect anything on Earth. You wouldn’t need to eat a lot because you aren’t going at super speed every single second of your life. You slow down to human speed to be in the normal world. Flash in the TV show said he needs to eat 35,000 calories a day. I believe he said this if you go as fast as his max speed at the time, MACH 7, the whole day.
But the real world not the DC Universe or Marvel Universe but what would happen if someone used super speed in the real world instead of the DC or Marvel Universe
Invulnerability: You might not feel pain but that does not mean your touch receptors don't still feel, just the pain receptors. Also, in the video he stated that having a tooth ache would be infuriating. A tooth ache? Pain? Hmm.....
Flash could always vibrate at super speed while he is running so that he wouldn't create a shock wave. Also, His superpowers could have been designed so that instead of having to eat all the time he could be drawing his metabolic energy from the speed force.
With Mind Reading, you would be able to choose to read a mind, or not, otherwise, you would get massive headaches from everyone around you thinking something and reading all their minds at the same time, and possibly die. So you can choose to read a mind or not for sure. Good power. Super strength is definitely controllable. Good power. Super speed, let's say there is no shockwave when you run, and you can control how fast you run so you don't have to wait what feels like 2 minutes for someone to do something that only took 30 seconds in reality. Good power. Technically this wasn't mentioned in the video, but some things about it were said in the start. Magneto has Metal Manipulation. end of story. Invulnerability, you should be able to control it. Good power. Also wasn't technically mentioned in the video, but Johny Storm should be able to breathe while on fire, or at least doesn't have to breathe at all while on fire. And for invisibility, lets say your clothes DO go invisible with you, 50% good power. Also, let's say that you and your clothes do go invisible, but your retinas don't so you can still see. Good power.
You can't control invulnerability.my skin is pretty much invulnerable to a small enough blunt piece of rock, and I can't control my skin to weaken itself to feel the rock hitting it or letting it damage my skin.so invulnerability is definitely not a good power.and about invisibility, for invisibility to work,a person would have to be able to see what's behind you,but that would only be possible if the photons would go right through you, ignoring your eyes.hence, you do have to be blind.bad power again.strength should be controllable, speed too.so bleh.they're good powers lol.
That One Random Magneto And Polaris actually have ferromagnetic manipulation, where they can control cobalt , nickel, iron and various of their alloys by using their magnetic properties; that’s why Magneto has to carefully look at metals to see their properties
Btw invulnerability doesn’t mean you don’t feel It means you don’t feel pain and even then you can still feel it just much less plus that’s only because your skin/bones and shit are much stronger so all you would need is the right needle to pierce it also invulnerability usually empties invulnerable health as well except under certain cercumstances
On invisibility: technically it would be harder it make yourself invisible without including clothes than it would to include because the way that concept it usually explained is that the person can bend light around there body which there clothes are most likely close enough to Edit: there are wave lengths of light we can’t see maybe the people who can’t turn invisible can see other wave lengths
Immortality would really suck! It would have been fun the first 200 years, but after that it would have been a pain. You would lose everyone you loves in you're lifetime, you wouldn't feel any fysical pain and you wouldn't feel anything
Hey, at least you could live to see the world forever. Plus, immortality does have exceptions to it, such as disease or removal of the head and brain. Example: Let's say you are immortal at age 31. You remain your 31 year old self forever, and you cannot die from anything but one thing: Malnutrition. As long as you eat and keep yourself fed, then anything else (such as not breathing, drowning, head removal, disease, etc.) CANNOT be your cause of death. In some or most cases immortality HAS to have at least ONE exception.
No you would feel things. Total numbness is a different attribute. You just wouldn't die from them. You could get blown to pieces if you were JUST immortal. You just wouldn't die.
you can grow tho. Experience more than the best. More than what anybody could want, more than anything anybody in the world would want. You can live for something thatll keep you intact for a very long while. What I think youre saying is that you dont want to find anything worth the time, so you think its a lame power, its an experience thatll change for literally forever
Coolguy McTrust In Dc super speed is because of the speed force but if you want time manipulation in DC then there is the Still force basically it’s time manipulation and Is the apposing force for the speed force it basically can slow everything down even the flash
Bruh if you think about it, they explained that for the flash it would be a normal jog except everyone would be in slow motion so really it prolly takes forever for the flash to get somewhere
But what happens if he wants to move faster?, what’s the limit?, Usain bolt is the fastest person on earth and he doesn’t jog when he runs, he sprints. So for the flash he has to be moving faster than a jog when his reflexes aren’t sped up to match his speed. The flash can alter his perceptions so that if he wants to a trip around the world can take as long as a week or about 30 minutes depending on what he wants to do.
In one of the episodes of the flash CW there was a bomb that they couldn’t move it so they made everyone freeze and he still can run super fast in flashtime
@RepelRaid, he wasn’t referring to the tes- IM SORRY PLEASE DONT TELL ME THAT FOR A SEC THAT YOU THOUGHT HE WAS REFERING TO READING THE MIND OF AN INANIMATE OBJECT SUCH AS A TEST!?!
For some reason he also assumes that drinking until tipsy is impossible, for some reason, he assumes that you're an alcoholic who drinks until he blacks out instead of being a sensible person who just wants to have some fun.
Superpowers i would like to have: 1. Not immortal, but a very powerfull healing factor 2. Superspeed, only when i want to 3. Infinity strenght 4. Wolverine claws 5. Mind reading, under control
Mr M not quite. Think about it. Do you want to see all your relatives, loved ones, friends, etc and by extension all people on Earth fade away in time one by one with you being around for eternity just cause you personally don't wanna die? I used to think like you before, but better have a long long life than an infinite one, which I'm not even sure ut could be called a lufe anymore at this point. Cause the base, the very principle of (a) life is to be bound to (a) death, one cannot exist without the other. So there you go :D. Go for Super Speed instead, like the dude said, Flash for life ⚡ ✊
The speed force is the thing that prevent real physics to be applied to his case basically. There are shock wave but only up to a certain point because he would actually destroy everything around him with the power of nuclear bombs
The speed of a car moving 70mph carries a shockwave of 35 pounds per square inch, if the flash is moving and the speed of light than his shockwave would be around 122,000 which would be insane, but since death happens so fast that it could be every where at one time and flash can outrun death, means that his shock wave would take about 5.3 million years to slow down enough for humans to feel, but by that time it would be only 65 pounds per square inch
@@Jerry-su3qo that makes sense but dont forget the speed force is ment to prevent that kind of stuff, it moves molecules out of the way, preventing a disaster going off
This is an interesting list, but I noticed one inconsistency: when talking about invulnerability, you mentioned the option of turning it on and off, but you don’t do that when discussing strength, Speed, or mind reading. Which is a shame, because that could mitigate a lot of the downsides of those powers. Even without that, most powers on this list just require that the person who has them adjust their life accordingly. Invisibility is the only one that’s got a real, absolute drawback. Even then, it could work if you had a secondary power that gave you another way to perceive the world around you.
