Not an ST but an anorak fact, The 2003 movie Cat in the Hat used the Focus in the movie. They changed some of the exterior decals to make them a little futuristic but you could still tell they were a Ford Focus.

I might be buying a 56 plate Focus ST from a friend, it’s red and supposedly tuned up to 300bhp +, with an RS clutch and a remap and a few other bits.

Is the mk2 focus st 05 to 07 the same as 08 to 10 plate cars apart from cosmetic changes to lights etc. Or did they have different ecu maps and suspension upgrade etc.

For some reason on my 06 st-2 ive only got a bulb holder on the passenger side, bracket is there on drivers but no holder, strange,..

Footwell bulbs : The reason for this, is so Ford can charge RS tax on Ford RS bulbs in the future, £72 a bulb because it has RS written on the LED. Putting Halfords crap in there will lose you points in the Ford owners concours shows. 🙂 Only joking, it's Christmas and BMW M car owners are allowed to have some bants with you Ford fans, seasons greets.

No bulbs in footwell.i worknfor a German brand and customers have to pay 15 quid a month to have heated seats working!

Also isn’t the c30 t5 have the same engine?

If you think about how old the focus st is now, and type of car it is. That is a decent number left on the road. Think how many have been stolen, crashed and just abused. If they was around in the early 90's that number would be the otherway around.

Thought 50% would have rotted away ?
