Since we uploaded a video about the 5 things we hated about our tractor, I guess it was only right that we upload a video talking about the 5 things we love about our Kubota BX2380. These are some of the reasons why we think it's one of the best subcompact tractors out there!

I came for the kubota and stuck around. I’d recommend others do the same. Jack and family put out some honest down to earth material that anyone can learn from 😊 Love my BX!

I love how informative these videos are. You go into the details that most skim over. I feel like I am going to know exactly how to operate that tractor when you hand it down to me......

Great job overall. Love seeing the tractor videos as well as the country bits. I have a BX23s arriving this week with pallet forks and a snowblower. Keep up the great work

One of the items you mentioned, the force multiply is one of the greatest uses I have found for my tractor. Between the grapple and forklifts, it makes many task so much easier. I will admit, that I stopped in to watch the tractor video, but subscribed to see not only the tractor videos, but a the homesteading videos.

Thanks for subscribing! Having a bit of extra muscle around is the best part of owning the tractor.

Love my BX23S. Got mine for the sole purpose of getting firewood. The grapple and a saw buck has made life a lot easier on my aging back. If I had to complain about anything on the BX , it would be the lack of suspension. I just gotta take slower. 😁 Keep up the great videos, I enjoy watching them. 🇺🇸

Great video on the Kubota! There are so many good tractors out there. They are very useful, I almost want to use mine to get the mail in the mailbox! Looking forward to your next video, be it tractor or homesteading!

Hello Jackie and Jack, Thanks for another great video. We have had our kubota for about four months now, and love it. I am continually amazed at what it can do. We had the same wonderful buying experience and support from our dealer in Truro, N.S.. I am envious of your tooth bar. We ask our tractor to move some very large rocks, and am concerned I could bend the lower lip of the bucket. I am thinking the tooth bar would reinforce that lip. All the best to you both, Ben from Nova Scotia

Enjoying the real-talk kubota reviews. I'm on a 10 acre wannabe homestead with a cedar woodlot and debating between the 1880 and 2380.

@TheMindfulHomestead 3 года назад
If you’re going to be running it in the woods, go 2380 for sure, as it has larger tires, and slightly more clearance.

I've had my BX for three years now. Best thing I've ever owned here on the farm. And my Kubota dealer is also my Ford dealer, where I got my F150.

Thanks for your input. Where I live, Quebec, the Kubota ends up cheaper than the Kioti cs2220. The Kioti is a few hundred pounds heavier than the kubota, and has probably more bells and whistles for free. But kubota finances the implement whilst for Kioti they don’t. So I think I’ll go with the B23s plus a snowblower.

I like how you pointed out some negatives in another video. Nothing is perfect, but it shows that a product is good even with a few minor issues. I'd rather hear someone give some negatives of something they've bought and have owned for a while to give a real world review and point out some things to watch for. The honest reviews of a product are a huge help to someone that's looking to purchase that product. Like myself. I'm looking to purchase the BX2680 here soon, yeah you have the 2380, but a very similar machine other than the engine. So, with the many reviews I've found online its led me to believe the BX2680 will do exactly what I need a small tractor for on my 1 acre property...yeah it'll get used at my aunt and uncle's place too occasionally but its going to be a huge help just on my own property. I have decided to wait a few months due to some blocks not falling into the right spot for my property purchase, but it gives me additional time to focus on other stuff that I need to do, as well as a larger look at the property as a whole and what attachments I really should buy right away and what can wait. I've decided to get the BX2680 with the loader and quick attach bucket, bucket level indicator, box scraper, roto-tiller, front plow blade, and the 60" mower deck. I was kind of up in the air originally about getting the mower deck because I have a lawn tractor that's only 3 years old that does a great job. I got to thinking about it, and the mower deck if I buy at the time of purchasing the tractor will save me about $300 on the deck. Plus I think it would get used a few times a year at my aunt and uncle's place to keep the weeds down in their field, it would work great for mowing the irrigation ditch out front at my place as the BX is wider than my lawn tractor as well as the wider mower deck it would more easily be able to straddle the ditch to keep it mowed down, without getting stuck in the ditch like I occasionally do with my lawn tractor. I may pickup the front snow blower in a couple years maybe sooner depending on how things go. I can't use it in my driveway because its gravel right now, but I may be able to help pay for the tractor having a blower and the front blade if the snow starts piling up LOL.

One great thing about the smaller footprint is the cost to transport. I just brought my sub-compact Kubota (B2320) all over southern NH helping friends last weekend in a $35/day Uhaul trailer. It fits perfect in a 6x12
@wildbill23c
@wildbill23c 2 года назад
I rented the 6x12 UHAUL trailer a while back to haul my BX2680/loader over to a relative's house to do a bunch of gravel moving for them...between the loader/tractor/box blade I had on, I had to drop the loader/bucket over the front rail of the trailer for it to fit, but otherwise it did great...I have purchased my own trailer though recently and the trailer dealer was out of the trailer size I was going to get which was an 8x16. They had an 8x18 in stock so I took it...can't be too picky right now tractors, trailers, cars, pretty hard to get a hold of. Now that I have the trailer I haven't had to use it yet however, its here when I need it and its actually a car hauler trailer so it can serve multiple purposes where the smaller trailer wasn't setup for hauling cars. At least with this larger trailer I have room for the tractor, loader, box blade, and any other implements I'd want/need to haul at the same time...I can also build sides for the trailer if I needed as it does have stake bed pockets on it.

My ONLY complaint about my Kubota is, the brake pedal is too long! They should shorten it up a few inches.

Hey, awesome videos! Great work! Just a quick note coming from a film student 🎥😁 at 1:22 you break the 180 degree rule when the tractor is moving one direction in one shot and suddenly switches directions in the next. When following movement on screen it’s good practice to allow that movement to continue into the next shot. Otherwise, shots and cuts like this may be a bit jarring to viewers. Just a little hint and something to look out for. Keep up the great work 👍

We are considering the bx2380, but wondering if we should go with the bx2680 for more horse power or the bx23s with the backhoe. With your experience, do you wish you would have gotten a different one?
