BTW, you can roll up all the windows at once by putting in the key into the driver door, turn it once, then again but hold it towards the left. They'll all roll up.
On mine. I dont need to put the key on to any door, to roll the windows up and down. To put down, i press once the opening button then a seconde time by holding it. And the roll back up the same but with the closing button!!
I have also 2018 hatchback sport. And my complaints are: -Paint quality. Paint quality on Hondas sucks! A lot of chips on hood. -Fabric quality. Maan this fabrics are easy to get dirt. Specially armrest. I'm trying to clean it every other day. -Headunit. Come on Honda this car is 2018 and look at this cheesy headunit. Not even touch screen. Thank God they added backup camera, what a big feature! -headlights.... 2018 and bulb headlights??? Why do I have to search for LED upgrade? -exhaust. Nice looking dual tips exhaust, but no sound. I mean I'm not surprise because even Type R doesn't have any. Btw nice video bro!
Bro! I almost mentioned paint chips as well. My hood was chipped like 2 weeks into owning this car, and especially my bumper. I understand this happens since it’s a daily, but it’s honestly ridiculous. You’re not alone on that one. I can deal with the fabric, but you’re for sure right about that as well. Just bought a 2020 EXL, you are so right on about the road noise. It's terrible. The Civics are pretty good cheap economy car but the road noise is definitely the biggest problem I see with it something that honda really should have spent more time with.
@@supahdup1126 well for the most part all the Hondas I've had in the past and have been in have been pretty similar to that maybe some of the older Civics and accords have been worse. But the new Honda Pilots and odysseys are definitely not like that and I don't remember the 2019 Honda Accord being anything like that either.

You can roll the windows up from the outside of the car. I also have the 2018 Honda Civic hatchback and while I was at work all the windows rolled down and I had to look up how that happened. It is not the best feature but I did find a partial solution on how to roll them up without turning the car on. On the drivers side door handle there is a spot where you can put the key in to unlock and lock the car. Well you turn the key clockwise to unlock it and if you do it again and hold it, it rolls the windows down but if you turn the key counter clockwise it it locks it and if you do it again and hold it it will roll the windows up. I don't know why they couldn't add this feature with the key but its ok.
If you adjust your side view mirrors properly you wouldn't have to worry about the blind spots. I upgraded my sound system to an 1000 watt amplifier that definitely helped out
I mean regardless, the blind spot is still there. But yeah I have a speaker and whatnot in the back, helps out a bit. Also upgraded radios since then too.
For me an issue is the head rest built into the rear seat. I keep my seats folded down for the better rear view. . I also noticed the heat and ac in new England doesn't perform well. U I really enjoyed the video! Better than A " car and driver 'review
I never had a problem seeing out the back unless backing up. Louisiana is usually in the 100s this time of year, but my ac seems to keep up. But regardless thankyou for the wholesome comment brotha, I really appreciate it more than you know 🖤
Great video brother, I’m thinking of selling my 2016 scion frs and getting myself one of these, the thing that I love is that aggressive styling and how it isn’t too expensive of a vehicle in itself, I could definitely use the back seats too
Thanks man! Fed, brz, 86 are cool platforms as far as mods, but are a little overdone. I haven’t seen to many people really blow the new civic platform out the water yet. And the backseat does help, plus I always put the seats down and throw a whole bunch of stuff to haul lol.

I used to have to drive 3 cars, but now since I have my own, I don't have to worry about that anymore! I also work almost every day so I get to drive it to work every day!

@@dietgerherregodts2220 To tell you the truth, I’ve only driven my 2019 car 2600 mi because of the pandemic, but I smelled gas in the oil at 1000 mi. and the oil level was almost hitting the high marker. I haven’t checked it lately. To be on the safe side I plan to change the oil or have it changed by someone at 3000 mi. I suspect that the only difference in my 2019 engine from the 2018 engines is s/w programming if anything, meaning the problem could likely exist. I also try to always bring the engine up to temp when running the car.

Great video man! So I absolutely agree with how Honda missed some of the opportunities with this vehicle. But at the end of the day we have to accept that its only one trim up from the basic ex trim unfortunately so they have to try to up-sale the other trims by adding those mods/upgrades. I will say this, I own the 2020 version of the Civic Hatch Sport and still have the speaker problem which sucks if you like listening to quality sound on a daily. Now when it comes to the key and unlocking and locking problem with the windows, Honda added a sensing key fob so it knows when you are next to the car and it unlocks itself and then when you start walking away it locks itself which is pretty neat. Since its a keyless fob as well, I never take the key out of my pocket until I am done driving. Keep up the reviews and mods though, you have an awesome whip!

I tried my best to avoid comparing it to the higher up trims and made sure to say “if I wanted all that I would’ve spent the extra money,” lol. I want to say mine locks when I walk away, but doesn’t unlock when I walk up to it. It could just be it automatically locks if you unlock it but don’t walk up to it/interact (I’m not 100% sure though.) Glad to hear they’re fixing things in the newer models though!

No problems like that, main issues have been the paint quality (which this crazy weather caused my side mirror covers paint to crack), my ac compressor has been making a knocking noise for a long time, nothing else really to note
i have a 19 hatch and i put that grille on too but mine has a little gap and it’s held by zip ties. i wanna get it off but the screw next to the front tire will not come out. i hope that when i get the grille off the oem one slides back on cause i can notice a little flex on the bumper.

I have a 2018 hatchback EX and I upgraded my headlights to white hid lights and the projection distance is still pretty bad, the width is great but they definitely need to make the headlights better
I really like it, the sport model came with better looking rims and exhaust, better steering wheel, the EX has better gas mileage and better infotainment system, that was for the 2018 models

Thank you man, I really appreciate that more than you know! Spoiler has progressively gotten worse over the 2 years as far as vibration goes. I don’t hear as much as I feel it, and it flaps up and down a lot more than it’s ever done at this point
I have the 2017 hatchback and seeing anything behind you is extremely difficult with the way the roof and the body are attached. I understand that the structure has to be made that way in order to accommodate the hatchback, but backing up is always a harrowing experience in the car. Fortunately, I have always been very good at using my mirrors so it's not an impossible task, but for most people who are terrible with their mirrors there's going to be some fender benders.
Yeah the mirrors and the backup camera help a lot tbh! It’s not that horrible of a blind spot, but for sure it’s there and makes me nervous sometimes (even if I check both mirrors before merging, backing, etc.)
Your right, I went to test drive a 2018 hatch and I noticed how you can’t really see much. Had to adjust my mirrors and use the back up camera which help very much. Still it’s a great looking hatch 👌🏽
You can 100% close the windows with key.., just lock the car and then press one more time on lock and hold like 5sec.., it will close all windows.. I have 2019 civic hatch., and is working perfect..

I was close to buying the 6 speed 20' Sport Hatch but went with the CVT instead since I go into the inner city of Chicago for school. Never really noticed any road noise until me and my friend decided to take a trip on i94 North to Wisconsin and it was so bad we could hardly talk. Once we got into WI and the speed limit was 75 it was basically all road noise. Another thing I noticed when I test drove the 6 speed version (still in 19') was that the radio was still very small. Thankfully Honda finally stepped up for 20' and I can actually pump my rap pretty dang loud through the factory speakers. Other then that I didn't hear you speak too much about the CVT itself. Like I said I would have otherwise bought the standard shift and keep seeing my CVT Civic jerk and stutter at low speeds when applying gas or letting off the breaks. Not good. Paddle shifters are decent though.
The road noise is pretty bad at high speeds for sure! I’m glad they stepped it up radio wise, I plan on doing a head unit at some point tbh and that should fix it. Tbh I never had problem with my cvt but it has been jerking a little more lately than I ever noticed before. Coincidence that you mentioned it! Mine still barely even has 24k on it, but I know you’re supposed to service the trans at 30k. Maybe it’s the approaching time of service showing 😳

the stock touring is still have bad pioneer speakers..just more of them... and the head unit is still under power... best way is to upgrade head unit and all speakers....

It’s a Memphis 12 with an old 1200 watt amp I had laying around. I’d say it’s good for what it is, doesn’t hit too hard but gives a good concert style. Like I said in the video after 23 on the radio the door speakers start struggling so I usually stay around 18-20 and it sounds good to me. I’ve had really loud systems before but I’m just not into that anymore, lol!

I’m sure they have some videos on how to diy it. I had my buddy walk me through the installation on my ek and it really didn’t seem hard at all. I just rather not mess with electrical stuff or hard projects on my 10th gen in case I mess something up. I’d def recommend changing the door speakers though! I should probably do mine and a head unit swap
