hey joey, real question here! Do you ever cut people a break on speeding if it’s on an empty road or you feel they aren’t acting dangerous? I ask this because surely you like to open up the 4b11 on an empty road once in while?
I have a 2018 Impreza hatchback manual and i did a nameless muffler delete, the thing pops like crazy and it definitely turns heads, I get compliments on it all the time. Sounds amazing but isn’t fast.

First of what's your reasoning to not like cops in the first place, and second the fact that your mind can be so easily persuaded just because he likes cars scares me.
Matt M its the fact that my nearly bone stock GTI with exhaust has been pulled over solely for equipment violations more times than just about any overly modified Ricer in my area..I’m pretty confused why that last part would “scare” you. What part of what I said is even considered frightening.

Captain Cannabis modding emissions equipment yes. Not the exhaust. Running a test pipe maybe. But changing your exhaust like adding a cat back is not illegal.

@@FIimsy Who get an Evo pay a ton of money to get the dawn thing rolling.... A regular guy dress up a normal Lancer like an evo and get "the same credits" like the Evo guys. That's what piss them, they want to social distancing from the regular Lancer, like you avoid the "black family sheep" (stolen valor) :D . That's why Evo guy are so full of themself and so fighty , you have to be a bit nut to spend so much in a racy car and after that, your car have to be the best among the best.
A cop pulled me over about a year ago in my evo 9 because I had a wonderful emissions R on the windshield at the time and after we got to talking about cars he was indeed an evo fan and totally understood my emissions problem living in MA and he let me off!!

Because it IS a lancer dickhead, when people ask for parts for an STI or fucking hellcat I dont go and look for that as the model I look for impreza, or challenger, same as the fucking evo x LANCER.
Turbo is at the back so that the exhaust doesn't have to go under the engine, allowing the engine to sit lower so the whole car has a lower center of gravity 👍
Good content and amazing attitude! Love my evo and love that it’s an mr, cause that 6th gear is a world of different for interstate driving. I’m also on e-85 with id1050 injectors and dw300 fuel pump, bolt ons, 29 lbs of boost with stock turbo (couldn’t agree more with placement) and unknown hp. Gas mileage anywhere from 12-15 😫 subscribed!
There is an actual reason why modern cars have moved the turbo to the back of the engine instead of the front. With the turbo in the front, the engine has to be raised so the exhaust pipe can run underneath the engine and out the back. That affects handling, and the hot exhaust going underneath also heats up the engine oil pan, in turn raising your oil temps. With the turbo in the back, the engine can be mounted lower for better handling, and since the exhaust doesn't have to go underneath the engine, you get less heat to the oil pan, and the exhaust pipe length is shorter which also cuts down on weight.
Few years ago I bought a '17 Toyota 86. Personally a great car despite the lack of power I had a lot of fun in it, but deep down the 2015 Evo has always been my dream choice. Oddly enough I too am in the process of becoming a police officer and although I don't own an Evo I agreed with all the points made especially 1 and 2. The interior could look better personally. Almost everyone will agree that even with the Final edition not having recaros is a bummer, but overall I still love this car. Such a dream car like the Evo is by no doubt going to have flaws, but I still want one :)

STi owner here and fellow blue. I hate when I tell people I have an STi and they respond “ohh a wrx!” Next they expect me to tell them I vape and have a go pro for my sick skiing videos. That's a nice build! I had my Evo 8 for 13 years and still loving everything except the 5 speed wonky gear ratio transmission. Any plans on swapping to the 6 speed?

Sick video I have an evo x as well. It’s just scary to drive it on the streets of Cali with its strict emissions laws smh. Maybe do a video of like your thoughts/opinions on Cali’s emissions laws?
I’ve never had a bad a experience with an officer. I’ve actually been let go a couple times when I should’ve gotten a ticket. Give respect and you shall receive it. Thank you for everything you do. Stay safe out there. Love the car btw 🙏🏻👌🏻
I had a 2010 Evo X GSR. I hated that it only had a 5 speed, the lack of low-end torque, the weight (1.6 tonnes) and the YAW pump which needed to replaced. To be fair that was under warranty, but the fact that this expensive part ($2500) was open to the elements made it a ticking time bomb for another repair once the warranty had expired. Finally, I live in a place where there are very few curvy roads. I had to drive 4 hours to get to the mountains, where the car came alive. Yup, there were things I hated about the Evo X, but I miss it so.
I bought the 2014 MR with the 6 speed SST, usual one I get is, it’s an auto. Um nah it’s manual too, I use the paddles to shift all the time, I just don’t have to wear out my left hip joint too soon with a clutch. Anyone who asks is it a manual I just say yep. I mean Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, GTR’s, WRC cars have paddle shift. I love mine.
See I have the opposite problem that you have. I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer gts. I’m in high school and It’s my fist car. However a few of my friends thought I had an evo at first but I had to remind them that I have 150hp, I’m fwd, and I’m 3000 pounds. Just because I drive stick doesn’t make me an evo owner. HOWEVER, I have more fun just driving my car than anyone else in the school parking lot so idc that I'm slower than a Ford Fusion 😂

You right but you wrong on the other side cuz a properly done and tuned civic is no joke ,mostly turn their hondas in to rice lol cuz they dont got the money to upgrade or dont know how to build a car and mostly hate hondas because they are only 4 cyl and the can handle a lot of horsepower and can play all day with v8 lol did you saw that 1000+ hp civic did the 1/4 in low 7s and went 213 mph ,thats crazy fucking fast,Cheers mate

Great vid man. Just wondering what your full mod list is. Just got my 4b11 rebuilt with ID1050x injectors pumped by a walboro 255 and my tuner says I need 1300's to reach 500whp with E85. I'm running 2.1l big bore , manley rods and pistons, ferrera valves, gsc stem seals, gsc2 cams, beehive springs, retainers, ets intake, ams intercooler with upper/power piping, ap headers, ams wide mouth dp, ams test, ams rs single exhaust, and mhi 18k turbo. Only making 350whp. Any input would be appreciated
