Thanks to everybody whose watching this! Hope you enjoyed the 5 things I hate about the G35. If you did leave a like and make sure to subscribe to see more!
@@bensneathen2975 you should change it my cars is similar to yours but mine came fully bolted on and the added an aftermarket touchscreen radio and charging port
Dude I have a 2007 g35s sedan with no aux cord not a problem just go to walmart and buy the fm transmitter you can bluetooth your phone through that and play your music lmao
Me i stuck a 7inch tablet on the dash in the storage compartment in the middle and stick it there with 2 way tape sticking on both sides, then hook it up to the radio with the cassette tape wire to the headset output and its awesome .. youtube , movies, even live t.v as long as you got a phone with unlimited internet for wifi sharing ;)
The catch here though is that you'll eventually have to replace the AC controls anyway. They're notorious for failing because of a short in the head unit. It's worth fixing when you upgrade.
The 2008 and up have a lot better features . But me , appearance and luxury is not my biggest thing . I'm more about performance and reliability and this is what this car delivers
I just bought a 2008 G35 awd a couple months ago and I love it feels fairly modern for a 9 year old car. I haven't had the chance to take a ride in one of the 03 to 06 model sedans yet
Hood problem is pretty common among Gs. Hinges are the problem. We should lubricate them every now and then, but most people dont. Just get new hinges amd lubricate them with lithium grease and everything will be fine. I had this problem before.
Love the G, not many people have a 6speed sedan! I have a grey one. I've got a z1 motorsport intake, plenum spacer, and Z1 HFCs to a straight pipe. It rips, still need a tune on her though.
Hey man idk if you know but g35driver is a great source for everything on your G. A lot of the threads are old but still relevant. The fitment issue with your wheels and lowering springs would have been easy if you'd have done some research on there. Just trying to help! I've spent years reading info on the site. Check it out if you haven't already.
Marshall Shermer yeah I'm on there all the time Lol! And yeah the springs were just my mess up for not buying coilovers and not seeing what springs went lower
Deftones 26 thanks man! I've been meaning to do an update lately since it looks a little different now, but all my time and money has went into my s14 recently
I have an 04 and it’s a great car. Mechanically the car is great. Those are just personal issues. Although my hood bends too and the radio center does suck lol
I have an 03 coupe I just use the aux thing you buy for the tape player and it works great cause my car came with the stock Bose system I can't complain cause the sound system is bad af for stock better than all the new cars now
Iridebentframes it's a struggle lol, I'm thinking that I should just be able to adjust it with the bolts that hold it on, but I've been to lazy to deal with it haha
E.C.H. Garage same here dude I just leave it I mean it's not that bad but gets annoying having to bend it down, do you have any performance upgrades? Cold air intake? Larger throttle body with spacer?
E.C.H. Garage aye I feel you! Just leave the g alone and go full drift car on the s14 lmao. Im about to buy a nwp throttle body. Oh does your intake whistle at like 4 grand?
Yes, I meant that it is easy to fix, just needs some time and money on this great car. Also i guess this is an rev-up engine? As i know they have some oil consumption problems?I have an Nissan Stagea m35 2006 with annoying vq25dd and 4AT(,so i'm thinking on swapping to vq35de rev-up with 6MT.
@@AndrewMugnetsyan yeah it burns a little oil, fortunately I got lucky and it hasn't started really consuming a lot yet. That would be a pretty sick swap tho!
Just use good oil, check the oil level and you will be ok.Yes,everything is bolt-on,because it's the same FM-platform as an G35,even the curb weight is the same. The main goal is V8,but for now i will stick with vq35 power.Good luck friend and take care.
dude the problem with the hood unbolt a little bit the bolts of the hood and move the hood until you get it perfect but maybe your problem is the fender not in the right place
Most of your complaints are not really flaws of the G35 in general but are unique to your specific car. I have a 2004 and it has none of the issues you pointed out -- other than the gripe about no oil pressure or volt meter which is fairly common in modern cars. Instead of complaining about the hood alignment why don't you align it correctly? And why did you put the goofy rear window spoiler on to begin with?
I have same this car i got 3 problems Problem No.1 the Watch broken down Problem No.2 cd system broken down Problem No.3 The front windows go down on their own when i turn off the engine 🤣🤣 ...Actually All infinti cars have problems she bad car from NISSAN
