Thanks, Ben another excellent review! For the price of this Bronco I am having second thoughts, maybe I don't need a Raptor. I'm sure I would be very happy with a Badlands edition and save 30 grand in the process! Like you said these types of vehicles are very expensive!
LOVE MY BRONCO RAPTOR!!! WAY EASY TO PARK. THE TORQUE AND HORSEPOWER ARE PERFECT FOR THE SIZE OF THE BRONCO. APPROACH ANGLES ARE AMAZING!!! SMOKES ALL BRONCOS IN EVERY WAY! Mines no mall crawler though so I guess this review doesn’t apply to me.
I would honestly say it the best highway truck I have ever had ( also have a gt 500 and a 66 barracudas and a power stroke f450 ) def a blue oval fam but the raptor exceeded all expations
So I’ve seen some pretty hardcore off-road channels just slam the Bronco talking about how the electronic 4x4 select is trash compared to a Jeep because of you hit a sensor on the trail the vehicles default is 2 wd unlike a Jeep where the 4h 4L is manually selected . Idk if this is something the Raptor or just the lower models will have an issue with but they also talk about how stuff on the new Bronco rattles on the interior and lack of quality control . If I’m paying more I should get better quality . Also the fact that Broncos have easily breakable off-road parts and that after several easy to moderate trails under its belt stuff is bound to break unlike a Jeep . On the other hand jeeps will always have to deal with death wobble as a possibility and getting to the issue and tightening the proper stuff on the front end before it causes damage to other parts on the front end are never a fun guessing game. 😬
Hmmm to wide ? I guess if you are used to driving a. Jeep or a car. I had a lifted f150 and my bronco raptor don’t feel wider at all and is easier to park and drive around town. Has just as much power as the f150 with the 5.0. I got the raptor for 6k under sticker and just walked in and bought it. Pretty much everything you said is kinda not true , acceleration? You know it’s not a sports car right ? Anyone buying a pickup or bronco for speed on the road is kinda wasting their money go buy a mustang or hellcat . Oh yea there is a reason you can just go buy a Jeep cause no one wants them they drive like a Jeep. I know I had one, great off road feels like shit on the road. Raptor does both great. And let’s face it most of the time it’s on the road.
I have my new raptor its 10000% a better truck then a jeep I've had 3 rubicons my raptor was 114.000 cad plus tax more power then you would ever need off road excelent on hwy ... prob with a jeep is it drives like a jeep
