The only thing I hate about my TRX is the MPG. Besides that the truck is awesome. Runs great, good ride, no squeeks or rattles, looks awesome. I fucking love it!!!
Yeah but you have a hellcat engine, gas is a bitch but, I have a 4.7 magnum and get 8 mpg, so your definitely doin good😂 one day hopefully I'll be able to own a trx
Congrats on getting your new truck! If you haven't check out the TRX forums. Lots of cool info around our trucks and great group of TRX fans. Thanks for the support as well!
I think the stealthiness of it meaning being close to the Rebel is nice, just because I don’t need attention, I want a badass truck but don’t need everybody to know I bought a $90k truck. I am using mine for work so when I drive up on a job site, prefer for most people not to know….
I totally agreed about the ram buying experience they all suck in Ontario. And they flat out lie to your face. Everything about dealing with ram and there dealers is a pain and frustrating.
That is awesome man. Congrats. It's an amazing truck at the end of the day and lots of fun. Join the TRX forums. Great community and lots of info about the trucks.
There is also a specific button for temporarily shutting off the rear sensors so you don't have to go into the menu on the touch console screen. The actual button is located below the screen where the extra buttons for optionally installed equipment is located.
The first thing I did when I got my 19 rebel was to turn off the automatic rear brake. Now I’m looking to get a trx after watching all these videos lol
Such an amazing truck. You will have no regrets. The base price went up 3300 last week but there are forum dealers ordering for 10k below msrp on the trx forums just as an FYI
@@JumpSquadAuto I’m up here in Canada going to have to talk to my buddy who owns a dealership see what he can do. Only option for Color for 22’ is black not sure what’s up with that
@@nabatron21 22 orders are closed and 2023 is limited to black, white, and red for a short period. Should have other colors open up soon. Atleast thats what I have heard for the US orders.
@@JumpSquadAuto yeah I’ll have to ask my buddy what we get up here in Canada. Like I said from the website the only option here is black. Just saw the sand dune color driving around and it’s sick
Took ownership of my 2022 TRX last week. Ordered it back in Sept last year. Definitely going to be a decent downtime if you order a 2022 now and get rid of your 2021 for I believe Ram closed the ordering books or just production for the 22 TRX until July of this year (per my salesman at dealership). At that point, you will likely be better off ordering a 2023 TRX (if they come out with that).
They closed 2022 ordering books for a few weeks in October but opened it up again last month. Just a lot of orders already in and Ram has a quack order sequencing system.
@@JumpSquadAuto okay, that makes sense. If that’s the case, I would just do it. Unless you can negotiate with your salesman in contract a clause to keep your current truck with an expected offer for when you trade in/upgrade. I’ve read that being done for the new tundra.
@@PMaull Yeah it varies by dealer. I can order a TRX for 9k below MSRP so they don't have a lot of wiggle room on guaranteeing trade. My state has dumb sales tax rules around cars which make things harder.
I've been trying to choose between both myself. I think the rho is definitely a better deal. Still a lot of horsepower and the body and interior are the same but 40K less
Yes… every time I see a TRX It looks like it’s missing something to make it stand out. Can’t figure out what it is, I mean, it looks bad ass! But it should just stand out more. I prefer a TRX, but in my opinion the Raptor is far more noticeable.
I have some long term review videos. Be sure to check those out for my full thoughts. I've now had my TRX for three plus years and LOVE it. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Every car has those small negatives which is all this video was pointing out.
@@TheWatcher1182 same for 21-22. I doubt they will make the change for 23 either. Its basically a filler piece to allow them to use the same tail lamps as the regular ram 1500s
I put a bold dislik, the author needs to buy a Ford and drive, leave three alone, it's not for you. I personally drove three 22,000 kilometers and he is beautiful in everything, I love TRX
I just bought the 2023. It dosen't have the back up camera issue and the load up screen problem. The thing I don't like about mine is for android phones I can't use android auto maps on full screen. Also in home screen the 4 layouts it dosen't have a layout for full screen. You have to pick 2 screen layout and then maximize the screen you want. And it dosen't save the maximized screen you picked. You have to keep doing it every time you turn the truck back on. I would like to have about 4 or 5 screens that are maximized in the Home option so I can just scroll through them like gauges, etc. But that's about it on mine.
Disagree with your take on the rear sensors. I have a 21 TRX and the sensors work great. I think you have faulty sensors my fren...have the dealer check them out...shouldn't be braking the vehicle unless there is really something behind you!
How about coming up with issues that make some kind of big impact? You most likely will pick something like the Chevy Silverado, now there's a piece of shit!!
???? I respect your opinion but you’re crazy. The TRX is a normal looking truck with a hell cat engine. That’s all that matters. It’s supposed to be incognito. Only the real ones are suppose to see it. Smh 🤦🏼♀️ That drivers assist was the absolute first thing I turned off. It’s fine. The fact you drove it for months is crazy. The only problem with TRX is fuel economy… but nobody cares about that.
@@JumpSquadAuto Totally agree I LOVE my 2021 Laramie but there are a few things that I just don’t like about that I wish I had either ordered or they would change but overall a BEAUTIFUL truck!
They might have an aluminum structure but the exterior surface fells plasticky. Definitely cheaper then the magnesium's paddle shifters other brands use. Small point tho. Truck is still awesome
I didn't even make it past looking at it from a far. I understand I haven't been in the market for a new 4x4 in awhile, but I have never liked a 4 door truck. So when I said I bet this truck looks awesome in just an extended cab, and I was told I could only get a 4 door TRX. Well that is the last time I thought about it. Except for hoping someone they will remember that not everyone likes the same things. I don't want a 4 door truck even if you gave it to me. I would just trade it for something else.
