Chechi ! Is this real ? OMG did you just pin my comment ? This is one of my bucket list life goals 😭 Thank you so much Chechi. Lots of love to you 🥺😍😘💜
I'm sitting in an airport lounge.. waiting to board flight to my first solo trip abroad and watching this video.. this is magical.. universe is sending me strength in form of jovita.. The timing 🌌💙
Just moved to Germany 2 months ago. Got dumped from an on again off again LDR of six years. Next month is my birthday. Yesterday at work, I stood in front of the calendar thinking if I even need to celebrate my solo birthday because I don't have friends here. This video helped me decide to take a whole birthday week off because I'm solo travelling to Prague for my 37th birthday! Thank you Jovita 😘
how was it ? please let me know because i am 17 and i really want to do something like this because ive never had friends and i love travelling [p.s. i know i am pretty young but my parents are also obsessed with travelling and so far we have visited 23 countries and i am really begging them to let me go somewhere alone for a short trip]
Where people try to hide about divorce you have the courage to say so.. Respect to u Jovi ! Going thru the same.. I call upon all women to support each other if u have gone thru the same or not too..
She never accepted and told people to mind their business now how she accepting it. All this people show things on social a fake life and people ask they just be rude. She didn't accept she was doing hide seek and now giving heart
I traveled from Florida to California alone and it was the most liberating experience! It taught me that I can literally do anything that I put my energy and effort towards.
I remember back when I used to back pack alone around Europe, I had come up with this statement that really helped me - even if I'm lost, I'm somewhere and I just need to find my way back to where I want to be. It was really empowering
Going through the toughest separation phase and even though I loved traveling like anything and its like meditation for me, I couldn't yet travel just in the worry that what if I don't enjoy it and get stuck and bored... But yeah, I need to push myself out to travel on my own.... Love you Jovi ❤❤❤
I travelled all my life solo around the world before marriage and met my hubby when I was 33 years old. So I did it before and I loved it, I found myself a group and did all my trips single and really and truly discovered myself and financially stable to do so. I was very selfish, meaning to take care of myself first then others, step of faith. Being your confident self and enjoy life.
I travelled solo to Bhutan, Uttrakhand (including some heavy duty treks) and Rajasthan by myself. All 10 day trips. I also did the 5 day Sandakphu trek by myself. I was in a group where I didn't know anyone and I was the only female. It is liberating and made it easier to love myself. Been a part of my healing journey. I know today that no matter what, I don't give up on worthy endeavors and that I can brave through.
Solo international travel to Spain while I had just turned 19, met so many people and one lady in specific who said she also started solo travels and has never stopped since. We as women have to have backup plans, for me travelling around with an actual map in hand was a fun thing to do. Don't easily trust locals, but you can only go with your gut on that matter. Have fun with drinks, but NEVER get too drunk. Be aware of the local laws because, what isn't illegal in our country maybe illegal in their country and the penalty can be too much for us. Good luck to all Jovians for your solo travels, that's all from me. love love 💕
Hey! I know it's a pretty dumb question but a typical Asian question. How did you convince your parents? How did you let them know you'll be fine? I'm planning for my own solo trip so I'm trying to figure it out :)
@@mehh9364 simple, i found an event happening there and convinced them with the itinerary 😬the event was for 5 days, i was there for 10 days 🤫*wink wink*
Joviiii I love you so much! I have traveled solo quite a few times now and I love it! It only taught me that there is so much out there and I am just a tiny little part of this world! It made me even more humble and it taught me that getting lost can be a beautiful beautiful thing, every time I got lost while travelling was only to find myself and my way again and I now believe so is in life! We all worry too much about the destination but you know what ladies, all the beautiful bits and parts of travelling lies in the journey, so does in life😉! Also, one thing I learned is it’s not about the top 10 things to do wherever you, it’s not… sometimes the most exciting and yet the most peaceful thing could be sitting at a cafe with a glass of wine or coffee and soaking in life, talking to a stranger, people watching (not in a creepy way😅), and sometimes truly doing nothing (especially mentally) is an art which solo travelling can teach us❤️ P.S. Jovi, I am putting this out in the universe that I wish someday you and I travel together may be to one of the islands in Italy and chill by the cliff while enjoying a glass of wine! Or may be go see the northern lights 😄 I promise we will get along well! Take care, lots of love to you sister 😘
Thank you for your reply Jovi! And that sounds awesome! Please check your dm on ig! My account is private so you’ll have to look into your msg request 😬 (my id: pranjal__s) Looking forward to hear back from you 💃🏻🥂!
And I am gonna gatecrash for, I love Jovi as much as her name. I have got every single prejudice at the moment that Jovi talks about and cannot thank the superior power enough for bringing this message through Jovi. Lotsa love to you Jo ❤️
Thank you for this video.. I needed it.. going through a divorce and learning to get back there has been hard… and I’m so scared of solo travel…but I’m going to do it..thanks for the confidence boost😄
It's true that one should learn to enjoy one's own company. Makes one more independent in a way. I learnt that skill in my undergraduation. In the beginning it was pretty awkward, later on it was awesome! Kills any probability of boredom 😍 always fun to pamper yourself without any judgements or negativity ❤️
going on my third solo trip next week - it really is transformative and has made me realize I'm more resourceful and a better problem solver than I ever gave myself credit for!
I was so seriously looking for these videos. As I have no friends. And tired of waiting for people to travel with me. I wish I would be confident and learn some good tips from your experience and Travel solo soon.❤️ whatever you told was just my thought too, Being alone and feeling alone. But you made this easy for me. Love you Jovita❤️ you Inspire and guide people❤️❤️
Travel is my oxygen, if i can't get out like even for some hours also or not explore something in new in months it give me anxiety, i gone through a lot in life one thing i will share with all "experience" is what give you abundance of emotional n mental growth, experience can be good bad or worse. i traveled when i was employed when i was unemployed, emotional break down in every situation , those story i build those experience take my back always. i know what i am capable of and the more you travel the more you not like to do same mistake but new one for sure ;). just start walk from house and do fix the destination you will find some thing new for sure. i even travel some place without destination, i went to bus or train station catch bus or train i like and set on the set then i figure out what will be next destination. I cant stop talking about it.
The thought of traveling solo has been going through my mind for a while now. But I'm super anxious about my safety due to past experiences in life, generally. This video really got me actually thinking of facing my fears and setting myself free.
Same happened to me and I can empathize with your problem cause I have similar experiences in my life as well ... But don't let those bad experience stop you from getting good ones .. trust your instincts and trust yourself. This world has a lot of bad but I promise good people are also out there ... Am saying this from my own experience. I would pray for you to get over your anxiety and give it a try.
As a solo traveller, always- ALWAYS, stay at hostels and dorms coz you end up meeting other solo travellers who might know a completely new thing about thr place that you are visiting. Also, cost-effective. Totally indulge yourselves with fancy dinners and michelin star restaurants but do look out for street food that city has to offer. Try it out even if it looks bad, trust me it is fun. Do not get too drunk or high where you cannot handle yourself. Keep limits. Go on late night strolls if you think it’s safe. You will see a different side of the new place. Make friends, make love and have fun. ❤️
You always have been an inspiration for the amazing things you are capable of ever since your college days. This sounds like a super epic trip. More power your way for many more super journeys ❤️
Traveling alone is all fun and good. I’ve done it but (and I hate to say this) as a lady, I wouldn’t advise it. If you know the place, it’s perfectly fine to move around. But if you don’t, prepare to be harassed and you may even find yourself in a precarious situation. One time I was in Paris by the Louvre, when I was approached by three men from three sides who were cornering me under the pretext of inviting me to a party. Ofc, it was to snatch my wallet, but luckily, I happened to be traveling with friends including a male friend, who were just a few steps away. They had my back, and as soon as these guys saw them, they fled the scene. A girl friend and I also traveled to Beirut, Lebanon on our own after doing our research about whether it was safe for two women to travel there alone, and the response was always extremely positive. Well, I’m sorry to stay, we were harassed daily by every single male… young to old. We even found ourselves in a very dangerous situation where we used safe, public transport and the driver and his buddies let everyone off the bus and then closed the doors before we could get down. They were ready to jump on us. They made their move. 3 hefty men and two small females. We screamed and shouted and one of them finally opened the door… we ran out of there. I wish I had better memories of Lebanon but I will never, ever again travel there solo or in the company of only females. It stinks but it’s just the way life is for women.
I love u n ur vds.. Ur vds r not only with skincare or products but they hv lot of common sense with any products n life... I m so sad to see the word divorce in title. I hv seen u doing couple vds n some yoga poses vdo I felt so happy now y divorce..

God bless you remain happy & energetic always
I looooove traveling solo. I'm from Thailand and I went to Turkey, Philippines and India alone. I had the best time of my life. It's even better than going with a group of friends.
Thanks a lot Jovi for getting this out !!! U have motivated me to travel solo rather drive solo to various destinations within India... Much power ⚡to lovely Jovi, loads of love ❤
Hi Jovi, I recently came back home from a two month travel. And I had same anxieties before i boarded the flight. Although I did not travel abroad.. i roamed around in my own country. Below was my experience 1. Stepping out of the comfort zone of my people broadened my horizon. It practically gave me the feeling, I can do anything. 2. Traveling with no plans and no bookings and no fixed destination (this is my own country so I had faith.. am not suggesting it to everyone) gave me the freedom to enjoy a place I really like and skip the ones am not so excited about. 3. Being a people person and someone who absolutely loves to talk ... I was anxious i won't get to do it ... But everywhere I found such beautiful souls who entertained me dragged me into their plans ... I found strangers welcoming me into their house for a stay ... For a cup of tea and dinner ... People being amazed by my courage to travel alone. I laughed I joked I got to eat local delicacy.. enjoy home made meal... Hear local stories and get recommendations from the locals what places to visit. 4. Final is i have made friends ... Wonderful people ... Many fellow solo travellers ... Doctors, scientist, Nurse, professor a paraglider and lot more... It was a life changing experience.
I always wanted to travel solo, but scared to do so because i thought I'll be anxious all the time and wouldn't be able to enjoy... your video is inspiring me to do one this year... could you give me insights to how you prepared for the trip, what sites you used for info etc. Thank you Jovi!
💖 *I've backpacked. Lots.* The best thing about traveling solo is the *numerous people I've met, and the awesome conversations.* ❣️💯 Traveling with a partner or siblings... those random connections don't happen as much.
Iam stunned ,,iam sad ,,I had no idea what u we’re going through,,,,stay strong jovita,,u are some one I inspire from,,i was actually watched Samantha march’s videos ,,and busy ,,I thought I’ll watch ur videos one after another ,,when ever I get time ,,,,jovi I love u
Hii Jovi, can you please do a video on how you deal with the scoliosis, I recently diagnosed with scoliosis and at that time I had never heard about it. I feel like it shattered all my dreams. It is inspiring to hear stories of those people like you who overcome it . Please consider doing a video.
for me dealing with scoliosis means: Learning how to sleep with my back straight. Whether I sleep on my back or my side, I make sure my spine is as straight as possible back strengthening exercises is a non-negotiable learning the right way to lift heavy objects trying to correct my posture topical pain medications taking bed rest when needed Feel better my love. Remember, you're not alone.
Wonderful video…we must enjoy every moment and shred out all our fears..,and instead of regretting or overthinking.. just let it go…that’s actual fun n liberty⭐️
Would like to go traveling , unfortunately my family can't be left alone for to long . I wish I had traveled more at 20. Congratulations on finding happiness traveling by yourself !
I am planning a solo trip to Malaysia and Singapore but I am nervous. Never traveled alone before 😅 I was literally looking up flights when the video notification up. I'm going to take that as a sign.
I love you so much Jovi. I too love people's company, enjoy so much with friends but I also enjoy my own company. I go to malls alone or coffee shops but never have gone on a trip. Your words have boosted me so much that I am going for a solo trip in short time for sure. I will have you to boost me ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🤗🤗🤗🤗
Always you speak what's on my mind....I started adulting and working for 6 months And I always think of taking a solo trip ..I think you gave me that push as well
I really follow you for all my skin care decisions. I love your vibe & videos construct. But just one suggestion: When you say, I am linking the video links in the air in the video, the links do not come up to click on. I am sure it is a small thing to correct. More power to you :)

N I njoy gud meal, drink Netflix... N chill... It really helps... We woman work so hard... Atleast we deserve a gud me time n peace... I can totally relate to u 🥂👍 .. Love u jovi ❤

You are courageous! Jovi some of the things u are saying are OK ...are really not that okay... 😀 But u did it anyway coz u are brave... U need to give yourself some credit ❤️
Hi jovita, your video reminds me a lot Hindi movie Queen (actress kangna Ranaut) a girl find herself (strength) through travelling after her broken relationship with her fiance. A must watch movie ! Thank you for making this video...keep smiling 🙂🙂🙂
I’ve been solo traveling since 2014. But this year I decided to book through a group. After solo traveling for a while group traveling was a very interesting change. The dynamics with a group of strangers exploring a new country was a bit challenging. It took a lot not to react to cultural differences because there were people from different parts of the world in this group. But it was a great learning experience.
Ok, here is my 3rd attempt at this 😂..I booked this tour with a meetup group called Trekkup Dubai based out of Dubai. The group consisted of expats from around the world living in Dubai.
I did Malawi the last time, also my first trip with them. They have many adventure type experiences, a lot to Africa and also city tours to other places. I’m doing Cappadocia, Turkey next. But I’m sure I’ll do a solo trip after this one, can’t always do group trips.
Jovita - thank you for this video. I love your personality, but not so interested in your makeup videos. More travel insights are welcomed by me. Can you talk about traveling in India? I’d really like to go, but am nervous about how big India and how crowded the cities seem. Advice?
