👁 ABOUT THIS VIDEO : When the SLR was first announced, Mercedes said total production would be limited to 3,500 units. 1,400 units had been sold by the end of 2007. The factory confirmed that production would halt at the end of 2009. A total of 2,157 cars were produced.

Manny Khoshbin is the president and CEO of The Khoshbin Company, based in Orange County, California. Manny immigrated to the U.S. with his family in the 1980s at the age of 14. He got his real estate license in 1992 and has spent the last three decades building his real estate empire.

Greatest supercar ever! For me the SLR always was kind of a very expensive muscle car. Enginewise and designwise. That deep mighty rumble, the torque, the supercharger and the long hood and the short rear. Oh what a great car, what a great engine and what a great design!

I always felt it would have been really kool if Mercedes/McLaren had made it so when you flipped up the cover on the shifter that the car would turn on (instead of requiring a key to insert and turn, it could sense the key in your pocket) and then you'd push the button to start the car.

That car always takes my mind to Mission 34 on Grand Turism 4. Having to beat a 1955 Mercedes 300SL in one Lap around Nurburgring with a 1 minute head start for the 300SL. Took me months to finally pull it off. That's as close as I will get to experiencing it lol.

Hi Manny! Like I said in other comments, the cool thing about the SLR is that it's not looking outdated at all. The design still looks fresh and holds up very well today in my opinion. The only thing that didn't keep up with the time is infotainment system, but that's logical. That's why manufacturers like Bugatti keep their infotainment systems very simple, so that it doesn't look outdated in ten years.

My dream car. I'm happy that the M155 engine in the SLR is based on the M113 in my E55. But the supercharger whine makes it sound like a WW2 fighter.

Also, what are some of the aftermarket mods done on your other cars? I recall RDB doing some work on you one of you cars but the hotel wouldn't let you all film.
