Awesome video. I would of never thought of owning one until recent. I drive a Yukon Denali 08 and prior to that, a lifted Tahoe on 33s. And I tripped over a 2010 LR4. Test drove it last night and....WOW. It is amazing. I did alil research and found out they are easy to work on as well. I'm actually finalizing the deal tomorrow for it. I'm a firm believer now that LR is an amazing machine.

Still love it to this day and puts a smile on face every time I get behind the wheel! I have had a few issues such as a faulty airbag sensor which cause the engine to cut off thinking it was in a crash. Also timing chain problems is a huge thing with the 5.0 had to get line replaced which cost $8,000 to repair but my warranty covered the cost! So if you found one for 8K with 106K miles it probably has a bad timing chain. Listen for a loud noticeable ticking sound

What Year is yours? I'm looking to get a Range, But, I've seen alot of Horror Stories with them especially the Engine and Head Gasket, I've seen more of the 2011 Models... I'll Assume they would've Fixed that with the Newer models.
I don’t think so I’ve had the D4 for year and a half same sound hasn’t had any problems I think it might be dirty injectors,exhaust leak or something. I also checked the chain and it was tight 🤔
Timing chain guides were fixed for the 2013 model year. 2010-2012 is where they were problematic if you did not changed the oil regularly. But there are tons of them for sale that have had the updated chains installed.

Got the NAV working, the diplay working, the suspension air system working (just the rear relay burned contacts.) new water pump, Column tilt motor was just locked up. Telescope I extended with a flat blade screw driver. Never will need to adjust that anyways. Took apart the DVD unit and cleaned and bought a NAV DVD that was missing. Works now!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!! I actually love the challenges so far, but am looking forward to a temporary end to it so that it's easier to keep up with. I've already decided that I'll always have one of these amazing 10MPG vehicles!!!!!!!!! I feel ridiculous saying that, but I feel it's worth it. It feel so refined just going to the store or doing serious offroading to the limits of body damage of course. Rubbing branches sucks, but I may look into a ceramic coating or something of that nature. SO impressed with this beast!!!!
