Thank you. One of the best video's. I'm retired and was fortunate to buy a 2021 in September. Fully agree with the assessment, just give me more confidence aspesially that if I take good career it will see me out. 👍
Thanks for your review. I just purchased one and can’t wait to ride it and enjoy. I have an nmax 155 but upgraded to the Xmax!!!! I am in Australia and had a hard time tracking one down but finally getting one this next week!!! Whoo hooo
Great review. I got the SMAX thinking I'd only be going around town, then I had places to go in the next town. I can go on the freeway but I'm the slowest one and it's a bit nerve wracking. Really considering getting the XMAX soon. I thought I'd get a motorcycle next but I really grew to enjoy the nimbleness of my scooter around town.
Just made the jump myself. Honda ADV 150 vs Yamaha Xmax 300 - Acceleration & Speed Test between 150cc and 300cc ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z3YaInBUGgo.html
It is a bike with a motor, therefore it is a motorbike, the are classed in the 'motorcycle category' calling them a scooter is just a term. Scooters are what kids ride along pavements, 1 foot on, 1 foot scooting it along. Good video too by the way.
I'm strongly considering buying one of these soon. Thank you for taking the time to share these videos. By the way, do you know what a STOP sign means? :-)
Nice job on the update! You got a great deal on that. Only 1000 mi. WoW I am looking at Forza 350, not in US yet. Came on to the XMax, now I must really think on it. OH had the Yamaha Reva when it first came out. At the time I lived near the Beach in So. Calif. The best, most fun, super even back then. So I know this ride must be Great! Keep it Up..
Nice review, I owned a Yamaha Majesty 15 years ago. It was nice, but it seemed kinda bulky and cumbersome. This one looks a little more sporty. I've been looking to get one, maybe.
Im picking my new 2023 Xmax 300 tomorrow at K&N Cycles in Tulsa, Ok for only $6299 out the door !!!! I think its a steal compared to other states prices !!!!!! My home state Arkansas has almost the same prices !
Nice vid sir ..although im 1 year late... just to add something to your video sir .. for maximum result I suggest xmax users to adjust the headlight by turning the metal bolt beneath.. i adjusted mine and now its excellent
Thanks, man! Will be interested to hear how easy the valve adjustment is... I've done about 10 on various bikes. The PCX150 was a nightmare - only because of the plastics! Actual adjustment was a breeze. Thanks, again!
You can always get parts for the yamaha but not the kymco i have a practically new scooter that needs a fuel pump and they no longer make them its lawn art now
maybe when you change any of these maintenance replacement parts like, balls, belt, springs, faceplate, clutch, can you give us an idea of how much is the cost of such maintenance from the dealer, to see how affordable it is or a bit hight from the dealer. thank you sir
@@nemanjatosovic Put the J costa variator on it and you will absolute love it!! I have the 400 tech max with j costa & arrow exhaust. It fly's dude 😉 such a different!!
My landlord and my ex roommate don't want me to get a motorscooter. I just ignore them. My sister and my best friend are all for it. The XMAX will be my second motorscooter. My first motorscooter was a 2006 Yamaha Vino. I had it for 6 years. It was fun but way too slow.
Thanks man. Any ideas how to increase storage space on these? I know it's possible to get console bags and top cases but is it possible to get side saddle bags also?
There are tank bags designed for the Xmax, there are also bags design to sit securely on the back seat. As for saddle bags, I am sure you can get them on there, it may look odd on a scooter however. Top case is the most common but also the priciest way. I usually just get a big gym bag and tie it down onto the back seat.
@@vanislj534 that depends, i think they are both great and both Yamaha and Honda make the most reliable bikes, so it is kind of up to you but both are probably two of the best choices you can make and any buyer would be happy with either one
@@StillRockNRollBand you can slide up front, best to go and sit on one and see how it feels, I’m sure you’ll be fine it’s not a heavy bike, very easy to handle
@@nemanjatosovic I would love too go see one! But because of the supply chain problem, dealers around Toronto Canada don’t have them in their showrooms yet. They don’t know or haven’t heard any word from Yamaha as to when to expect deliveries to start. The latest trend has been, people ordering bikes before they have even seen one in person. I would prefer seeing and sitting in one first too make sure it a good fit, before I lay my money down. Any way too lower it?
@@StillRockNRollBand you can slam it but I wouldn’t. Best to go see how it fits you, if you can’t find a new one, just look for a used one to go and see in person. You’ll probably be ok.
@@VegitoBlackityBlack I think it’s more about when the model was updated. The current Xmax is only 4 years old, scooters aren’t changed every year like cars, but once they decide to update the Xmax I’m sure it’ll get a digital dash with Bluetooth.
Those older tmaxes are really good, but, personally, I’d get an Xmax as it’s easier to maintain. The Tmax is bigger and faster but unless you really want a super sporty scooter, get an Xmax
Pa jeste, nije ni jedan motor idealan ali xmax je ok. mozes nekoliko sati lagano da ides autoputom, sediste je ok, polozaj sedenja je isto super, povisis vizir i onda ni vetar ne smeta. ok je skroz
What Motor Oil and Transmission Oil are you using Brand and Weight, I know the manual says you can use motor oil on the transmission but I dont agree with that. Let me know what you use. You should visit our club on Facebook.....facebook.com/groups/1103810813101076
