High quality clothing items to last a lifetime. Not necessarily designer but high quality. But mostly I spend my time differently. I have been focusing more on my health and getting my body to where it feels the best, and investing in my financial future
I totally enjoy your content and how you are embracing this shift in your life. I love your ability of embracing yourself with so much authenticity…. I am a yoga instructor and I practice hot yoga at least 5-6 times a week and for me I invest my money on good quality yoga/athleisure in this case for me it’s Lululemon👌
Love love love! Caitlin you are glowing in this video. Personally I couldn't agree more with you on these topics. If I could afford to I would also pay for a professional cleaning service, both me and my partner hate cleaning. Also I believe that investing in your health, in all possible categories as you mention here, is what true luxury is. I grew up eating fresh fruits an vegetables my family would grow ourselves in our gardens. Since moving to Scandinavia I feel like the food tastes so so so poorly I end up compensating for the taste with loads of salt and spices... Eating fresh food is a luxury I didn't know I had and now miss so much. Owning an expensive bag isn't going to make me feel less tired or less prone to getting sick...or make me live a long healthy life really.... I believe most of us need a reality check and a change of priorities unfortunately.
Oh! And I spend money on my housekeepers as well, less time with house keeping, more time with my baby boy. I also clean before and after and keep up the maintenance. I love a clean well kept nest!
Thank you so so so much Caitlin for this video because its truly truly helpful to me in my life and I really missed your videos so so much and I wish you reach 50K Subscribers very very soon!💫💕☺️
I spend my money on: travel, hair products and treatments, skin care, body treatments, good entertainment, and a personal trainer (I would never put money into gyms).
I started using a better gym as well. Loving the sauna and cold shower combo. I also have invested in skin care for a while now although i started with tret and korean skincare. And at 53 i had to start taking hair supplements as well. Must say though, a good routine is priceless.
I’ve been spending money on expensive spin classes, but I’ve also decided to mix things up now to try to meet single men and new friends hopefully at a new full service gym who are likeminded and into fitness. It’s more expensive but worth the $$ because it’s a lifestyle choice like you mentioned! Agree with skincare too-it’s worth the investment! I’m 50 and am always told I still look like I’m in my 30s 😊. All due to lifestyle choices I’m sure!
You look amazing, you're absolutely glowing and radiating from the inside out with peace! I agree on the skincare point, ever since I've invested my money into medical grade/high quality skincare and now I only ever do mascara and lips! (However pray for me that my skin doesn't get bad when I go off the hormonal birth control pill, nervous for that! 😖) Always looking forward to when your new video drops, much love from Canada! ❤
If you can I would definitely recommend a course of red blue light therapy for 6 weeks 1x a week once you get off birth control I like to think getting red and blue light therapy helped to keep my skin relatively good It’s a process for sure but it’s worth it Just have to deal with a possible break out but if you’re prepared you can handle it 😊
I LOVE your dress/top! Do you mind sharing where it is it from? Also just want to say that I love your content lately. I’ve also been very focused on investing more in my health/happiness lately. Specifically naturopathic medicine consultations/ supplements and also more fitness classes. I’ve been feeling really good since I’ve been doing that! Glad to see you are doing all these things to nurture yourself and sharing your journey with us 💜
Your wellness club membership reminds me a lot of country clubs, in the U.S.- do they have country clubs in Australia? Most have gyms, pools, tennis courts, spas, restaurants, bars, etc.- but often (at least in my area) they are centered around a golf course that's private (so you have to be a member of the club to play there).
I think that’s why I like it and I can only speak for my city but we don’t have a country club here and I don’t know if there that popular in australia unfortunately x
Again GREAT VLOG…. Since you have ( don’t want to really use the word CHANGED.. perhaps FOUND your HAPPINESS) you GLOW NOW… 😊 it seems to be oozing out of your pores. I am SO SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND THIS NEW Caitlin 😊🙏🏼❣ Take care and keep smiling and appreciating YOU!
Hi Caitlin. You look so glowing. I agree all these things are so important. I can relate. I used to be personal trainer. So i worked out at various gyms. But it is boring. So i got membership in a new innovated classes, in very small groups. It was very expensive, but i enjoyed it😜 I am not able to do this right now, due to my husband’ health situation… i work out at home, and i do his rehab. In a way its fun, cause we used to work out together in the past, and we do now. But my passion, and as soon as we get to the next level, is to take ballet classes and also i am going to invest in Gyrotonic equipments. If you dont know, gyrotonics is the most a,amazing exercises, with the equipments. It was created by Russian very famous ballet dancer Baryshnikov . When he was injured, he had to find a way to keep dancing, so yes his equipments are the closest way to ballet dance. Its like no other equipment. It can stretch you like you never knew was possible. There are like 5 equipments, and you have to get certification to use them. 🤪 But ballet and water are my two things, that i am the most passionate about. Well cooking , especially creating new healthy raw vegan desserts is my other love. Skincare, yes i do invest a lot in those And home equipments. Yes red light panel , etc.. i also used to buy so much makeup, in the last 4 years. 😂 But this year, i stopped. I realized what a waste of money. I could bought some nice jewelry, or invested in some spa treatments😂😂😂 So this year i buy only what is unique to me, or something i really like. And so far, i bought only a few makeup items.😜 Have a blessed day🙏💗
@@CaitlinPawlowski thank you yes you should . They have classes and seminars, like 2 days intensive training all over the world. And its not just fun, its great to rehab injuries and would help with back issues. You going to love it 😜💗
Esthetician here yes!! The skin is the Largest Organ! As a master licensed esthetician you want to invest in high quality professional grade skin care not advertised. Professional products do not pay for big marketing. You pay for higher active ingredient's & deeper absorption! Better results & healthier skin! It is better to invest in health of your skin than make up!!
I have put a focus on: quality food and recipes, specific supplements you can’t get via regular eating (collagen, reishi et cetera), massage tools, skincare, and I am looking to get copper infused yoga clothing because it is antibacterial. I would say I don’t have a wellness gym anywhere near me. But, I think most people could benefit from being able to swim, steam and do ice baths. That can be done somewhat diy paired with a pool membership, but most don’t make it a part of their regime. Also, I think that gyms are the reason so many people currently hate being fit. You should have physical hobbies that just happen to keep you fit. And the traditional gym should just be supplemental for filling in gaps. So many people are not motivated or interested by the gym which honestly makes sense because it is usually repetitive action or nothing that you can level up in as a skill. Think long term…. can you do this for thirty years to stay fit? Won’t you be bored standing there lifting weights or bouncing around with generic aerobics for the millionth time?
These are good points. Personally, I would never be able to do a wellness club. I like my exercises on my own, from youtube videos or private pilates classes. Its interesting tough, hiring cleaners is pretty common here. So it not something I ever considered a luxury wellness habit. It just is. Also what eye cream do you use? I have tried soo many and am not 100% satisfied with any.
