What you said were true kabayan.Those are the realities of being a newbie in any country.What we should keep in my mind when relocating to any country is to expect the opposite way of living here in the Phils.,especially their culture is different than ours so we must be ready for change and we need to adapt because we have no choice.Everything we do for our future needs some sacrifices,better to be resilient nalang.But still living in uk for me is way better than living in the Phils.,healthcare,education,chance of owning a decent house,govt assistance even when looking for a job,etc.We just need to save anywhere we are,always think that we're there to grind and not to relax most of the time.Focus on our goals and we can do it,always remember the purpose why we relocated.Enjoy and keep safe

I have been here living in UK for more than 20 years and as I came here as British spouse. I need to find a job based on my qualifications and transferable skills when I am still in the Philippines. Although finding a job in terms of administrative and finance type of work was not difficult but then I found out that you can only progress to some extent then it will be difficult to pass the hurdles when the position will be going to management type position. I need to study and did trainings as my qualification from the Philippines did not recognise here. It is sad but it is what it is. People back home should do a bit of research on how the life here in UK to avoid disappointment. I learned how to have a thick skin and able to stand my ground when challenge because if you are soft, they will walk all over your face. Still life is a bit better than the Philippines especially the education. It is spot on and you can assure that your child can handle any adversities in life. I could only relate to my experience, in terms of equality, I think it is only good in papers but in reality they still prepare their own to fill up the management position. They may employ some from diverse background but these are born and educated here. Just a thought.

Kung tutuosin pla.. Mas goods pa rin tlga ung partnership ng South Korea at Pinas pagdating sa OFW.. Sa South Korea Mas makakaipon ka ng hindi lang sapat kundi sobra2x pa.. kasi sa SK libre na Apartment, water at kuryente..then nasa loob lng din ng working place ung apartment so hindi mo na need mag commute.. libre din ung mga appliances sa apartment at kasadalasan libre ung lunch at overtime meals.. then 3 times bigayan ng bunos a year. Pero pinaka challenge lng is ung need mo ipasa ung basic language test exam nila

I agree with the winters gets dark early can be depressing well for me im British but am much more happy like a lot of people living in the UK when the summer is here people become more happy 😊. I live on the South Coast better then London any day sea is 10 mins away from me the harbour only 5 mins away, have seen a few Filipina nurses working at our hospital Queen Alexandra very respected workers.

Tumpak lahat ng sinabi mo kasi nandito din kami sa UK, pero nakapunta ako nung 2014 dito magisa for 5 months and naransan ko yang racism lalo na ung mga pabirong... kilala daw tayo sa mga domestic services which nasaktan ako nun kasi nga bago palang ako..pero alam ko pra sa kanila wala lang un... Pero tinuloy ko pa rin ung pagaccept sa job offer nung 2018 for better life, kahit na malaki gastos dito, mas okay pa rin ipon basta planado mo. And one last thing na impt din iconsider is tulad ko di ko kaya magisa, kaya sinure kong ksama ko magina ko nung nagpunta dito. Tuloy mo lang vlogs mo.. ganda ng content.. by the way,, channel ng anak ko to.. hehehe God bless

British husband ko nga nag apply na ng permanent visa dito sa Pinas mahal kasi upa nia jan saka malamig daw hahaha. At least ung pension niang 66k ok dito sa Pinas we live comfortably naman nag rerent lang kami. Punta kami jan for visit lang.

The problem is most OFWs think as soon as they hear salary and covert it to Pesos they will be rich. They forget its a different life but the UK still offers more than the Philippines to foreigners, like you can buy your own house, you can start your own business and also as a healthcare OFW the UK allows you a pathway to getting citizenship. Not like for foreigners in philippines. Bottom line, you with your family will still want to stay in the UK and make the most of it, because in the Philippines its hard to make the most of nothing. Parang sa ngayon po marami na bukod sa Nurses. like Engineers, accountants, etc. base lang po yan sa mga kakilala namin. Just go to the right websites po, we cannot recommend any but do lots of reviews and research po online.

Do you need a doctoral degree to practice nurse anesthetist in UK as required in USA or Canada? If not, are patients comfortable being treated by under qualified staff?

Hi, a nurse anaesthetist here doesn't actually deliver anaesthetic meds, usually they work as the 'assistant' of doctor anaesthetists so to be an anaesthetic nurse or an ODP (operating department practitioner) a doctorate degree is not required but just another short course to qualify as one. Other trusts might have that opportunity for nurses but I think you need to get your higher level of qualification here in the UK first, of course. Hope this helps. 😊

It was a 3 BR house po, 2 T&B (1 en suite). Apartment style po, GF, but di po sya kagaya ng usual flats na tall buildings. 3 floors lang po (1 unit on GF then top unit has 2 floors). Cguro nga po mahal lang ng konti kumpara sa Wolv.

Reason for doing this: honestly gusto po namin umuwi ng khit 6months, matry lng nmin muna. Para po ito sa mga kagaya nmin na poblema un mula s mliliit na bagay gaya ng gusto isurprise yun family ng takeaway food pero alang mautusan bumili n ndi kukupitin yun pera okaya nman yun malalaking bgay gaya ng ipapacheck kung legit ba yun lupa n bibilhin nila ganyan...etc. Of course, my fee po syempre yun services namin pro an pinagkaiba lang po nmin ay yun assurance na ndi kyo lolokohin dahil una alam nmin yun feeling ng niloloko dhil nranasan narin po namin mula p s srileng mga kamaganak at iproprovide po namin lhat ng resibo mula simula hnggang dulo ng transaction at khit ano p po n irerequire nyo to keep you at ease. Hi Sir, Omanfil po agency ko jan sa Pinas. Very supportive nmn po sila. Nurse po ba kayo? And advice ko lang po for now is maybe try to have multiple options as to where in the UK you would like to work, search about cost of living and other personal considerations nyo po in terms of living/working abroad. ☺️

Number 2 is not correct, the weather varies considerably throughout the various regions of the UK. You cannot generalise that the weather is the same all over. I hope you dont mind me correcting you, But the UK is not made up of 4 Kingdoms, it actually consists of 4 Countries, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The official title is, The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

@@henryrobertson8764 the honest answer I can give you may not always be agreeable to everyone and I don't have enough basis for comparison BUT based on what I understand from people whom I know well enough, USA and Australia are more sensible options over UK. One thing I can say as a Philippines trained Nurse, it's a bit comfortable to work as a Nurse here in the UK. Oh, if you're interested to know, income wise UK is not even on the Top 10 in the world.

Kung need nyo po ng work visa para makapunta dito medyo mahirap po if hindi degree holder. Pero kung pupunta po kayo dito bilang dependant, marami pong work dito na di need ng degree basta makacommunicate po nang maayos in English.
