5 Things Maine Coon Cats Love (#2 Might Surprise You) 

My Maine Coon used to scoop his wet food out of the bowl with his paw and then lick it off. Also, whatever I was eating was of interest to him. He wouldn't necessarily want it, but always had to investigate.

I love my oldest Ceasar does many of these things. Any time I want to lay down he is right behind me until he feels loved enough. Other times he will lay on my bed all by himself until someone tries to take his spot. But I adopted him when he was two or three years old so he was set in his ways, I tried to teach him to walk on a leash but he said no, and brushing is a hassle with him. But he is my best buddy and I love him.

My 6 year old jack, is the most awesome animal I have ever owned. Personality on steroids. He chirps when he wants something or attention, he stays by my side the minute i come home from work, waits for me at door, and stays with me until i go to work. he has never been a playful cat, he hates laser pointers wont bother with them, but a feather on a string he goes nuts for it. He has destroyed several scratch pads and learned that door stops are for getting my attention, Boinnnngggg. At bed time he starts the evening by my side and often on his back, but hes only good for about 30 minutes then moves to side of bed where he can peer down with feet hanging over the edge, same routine every night. he is a large one, has very long hair, hits around 26 lbs, and wont take much brushing so i have to find knots with my hands then get right to it before he decides enough is enough. Jump, this guy can jump great distances or heights, and has no problem with other animals, with some other cats as exceptions, where he will man handle them, if not watched. hes great around chickens and dogs.

We have a black male MC that we got from the SPCA. He is a wonderful companion and has turned out to be a great hunter. We used to have a mouse problem. He is a real gentleman and NEVER demands for anything. We love his trills and he will come and sit beside one of us when he wants something and then leads us to what he wants. We are quite smitten.

I have a main coin (she is the best cat every) she sleeps with me always follows me goes into my room (i’m her fav) and i love her so much but she HATES water

I have a female 1/2 Maine coon, named Zoey. Beautiful cat good size almost 18 lbs, very playful and loves to snuggle my neck. Very intelligent.
