There are so many that have never been mentioned in-game whatsoever. - Such as the thin, white lines that can be seen while in a System, that go from the Space Station to a Planet, to another Planet and another Planet. Those are the Trade Routes that the NPC's Starships take when traveling around the System. The Starships have whole flight plans that they will follow; going from place to place, planet to planet. - It's pretty cool.
Here are two that I never see mentioned: -When in cockpit view pressing the R3 button will zoom in the view slightly. -The two colored lights of red and blue on the Backpack show are a real-time display of the Core Health and Core Shield; the same two bars that are on the upper left of the play screen. Both of these are great to know if playing with no HUD.
After playing for a couple hundred hours I discovered that if you press the triangle button (PS5) while highlighting build objects in the build menu that have two one's or the number 2 in Roman numerals, or whatever it's supposed to be in the top corner, it gives you more choices. I don't know how I missed that one haha.
I am a noob with only a couple of hundreds of hours, but the carbon farming in carrier is silly ! BEST way to farm carbon, fer ite, Na, D2, O2, ALL at once, a lot faster, is using a ship !!! 1 - get a positron ejector weapon on ship 2 - try to max buff that weapon best you can / heat reduced and fast shooting 3 - fly low & slow and shot the hell out of rocks and green stuff ! You will fill 9 999 of each in 2-3 minutes, so fast you can't store-it all !
Your tip for the free nanites in a vykeen station works for both sides of the station. The other side has free nanites too near the other trade terminal.
Thay can also be found in several buildings on planets, such as Observatories, Manufacturing Facilities and even inside the two small rectangular-type buildings that sit side by side one another.
That was a good tip about the flashlight in the outlaw station. My preference though, if it's a shape I'm interested in, is to go into the buy menu for a preview since that menu has perfect white lighting. I actually never knew until last week that you could use mouse scroll to rotate the ship there too. It is slightly difficult to see the ship burner types on the back though so I tend to check those initially with the shape.
you want some easier nanites? find a few pirate systems and use the portals to travel between them buying all of the contraband they have as well as the packs of arms and tech, open all the arms and tech packs aand sell whats inside as well as the contraband in a non-pirate system. I do this with 5 pirate systems and get around 20,000 nanites and if i loot some freighters in one of the pirate systems while im at it i will also go up by like 15mil units at least. its very easy and you get a decent amount for it. this dude saying to get around 60 nanites per system lol, just buy and resell, it costs units that you can recover in the same trip and you can get like 4000 nanites per system.
Nah, that is the hard way :p The easy way is to get in the Pirate sys, pop the carriers and scoop the contraband, ( no police to bother you ! ) then just warp away 1-2 min - stop, and another group of 6-8 carriers will spawn near you. Pop them and scoop the contraband. Repeat until you have no more space in inventory. Then, warp in a rich, 3 stars sys , and sell all. Usually 150-200 millions in 15-20 min. Profit 100% since you didn't spent a unit. You can do 350-400 millions easily in 30-45 min like that. I make my first billion like that.
In a new save i try to scan ALL animals on the planets for that bonus nanite, so i only tend to upload planets once i have scanned them all gives me something to do and more nanites
Nah. I’ve kinda changed my stance on that after awhile. If someone wants to play that way and it increases their level of enjoyment, have at it! Creative mode is essentially the same thing. If there were a competitive aspect to this game, then I would have a problem with it.
I just started, but I play on regular but changed the options so everything is free. I guess I'll try it "legit" at some point, but come on - I'm just a baby!
Damn I need to get myself that venator class, it looks so much more impressive during warp. That Eissentam quick trip option is awesome. Do I get to go back to Euclid if I have a base setup on both ends?
I didnt know about 4 and 2 so thanks 😊 Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the electric type storm that happens in space, is it just an effect or are we able to do something with it?
@@NannyOggins Yeah, the electric storms in space are a new addition and (as of now) do nothing but look cool. - There are two types of broken Freighters floating around out there. The first one is simply busted up and falling apart, nothing can be done with it. The second one, however, are called Derelict Freighters and they aren't as broken apart as the others. The Derelicts can be landed upon and entered to explore, fight creatures and collect loot. To make finding a Derelict easier, go to a Space Station and find the Scrap/Junk Dealer. They are the ones who have the beacons that are used, while pulsing through space, to find anomalous signals. - 👍
Wait you can actually scroll through all the ships of a particular system from your ship's instrument panel? That's so convenient! How do you exactly do that on keyboard?
man. i bought this game early access and got a major disappointment. thought i was veteran but upon playing it again, i realized i really am a noob now xD
When they add so many new mechanics it is practically a new game, However I miss the vibes and the music of the first iteration of the game. The music is not the same anymore.
Still can’t understand why this channel isn’t bigger than all the biggest nms channels? They are nowhere near as informative, entertaining, detailed or well produced and they all have annoying voices!
Got to say the shortcuts you showed us would have been quite handy... Too bad you can't afford a gaming computer and are stuck with a Playstation/XBox. 👎
