Literally purchased my FIRST LOUIE yesterday. As my first bag, I’m happy to say I purchased a mini Pochette Métis east west bag in canvas. It’s more modern versus the speedy 20-I almost wanted that one, but the east west bag is so versatile and underrated. 💖💖💖 love this video! Xoxo
I feel insecured having an unclosed bag, but sometimes if you need to go for picnic or short trip to somewhere, then neverfull is useful & convenient to take out a scarf or sweater. I think women should get a small LV for dinner party and medium one for work, big one for travelling
I just purchased the All-In MM LV Tote which is like the LV Never Full only it HAS A ZIPPER! I love it!!!! So, to your point, for those who cannot live without a zipper to close their tote, this is an awesome alternative :)

What if that purse doesn't work for you, just because everybody is talking about it, doesn't mean it'll work for you or your lifestyle. Thanks for sharing😊
my neverfull is listening in, she loves being considered a must have 😉 even though she don’t properly close lol. I got some leather conditioner last night, so my bags are all hydrated and happy (even the canvas parts). and my toiletry bag from the 1990s looks like a new bag. her leather tag is actually lighter and brighter after conditioning. happy pieces and parts. I saved up money for a few months to buy a ZP, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from LYXBAG for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.
Just bought the Favorite in bicolor dove/cream. I’m in love. Why is not so popular? I saw only few reviews and you briefly mentioned it like it’s not an important piece of design.
Yay for the video! Made my day off a great start. I agree with the Neverfull and PM. It took me a long time to use my NF. Bought an organizer with 1 zip pocket and it’s a game changer. The PM as long as it’s full, then it’s easier to close but, still get some getting use to matching the locks. It’s still my favorite crossbody. And thinking of getting it in Empreinte in the future.

Great informative video! Thanks for the tips from a longtime Louis Vuitton lover and collector (since 2008). The pochette Métis is so beautiful...the empreinte leather is on my wishlist. The LV capucines has been on my wishlist for a while now but I’m definitely regretting not making the purchase prior to the recent price increase! I like the monogram canvas more than the damier ebene but the de is so carefree so I should probably add more de pieces to my collection. My Salvatore Ferragamo gancini black leather tote has a zipper, that doesn't go all the way to the sides. Meaning there's a space on both sides where can I put my hand in to reach for something without having to open the zipper. I love it very much, it's my forever tote, even though I also have the Neverfull MM tote.
Hi Michelle and thank you for another informative video. I found it hilarious that clients were looking for a NF with a zipper. I agree items falling out or easy accessibility is an issue with large tote bags. However, they could explore a bag liner with a complete zipper to feel more secure. I too love the Pochette Metis in empriente, especially in noir, but my heart was set on the reverse monogram one and I've been careful when using the bag and touch wood so far no glazing/pealing issues. I'm paranoid about the untreated leather getting stains so usually stay away from it as much as possible. Glad LV has started bringing out monogram with the black leather trim which makes the Odeon, Bologne, etc. such carefree handbags. Have a great week ahead 🥰

Such an excellent video! Thank you so much. I have pochette metis in both noir emprient & monogram. I have never used the monogram for fear of damaging it. How ridiculous! For sure I am going to sell it. Same with my Damier Ebene Speedy 30B - it’s gorgeous, but the 25B is such a better size for me. Expensive enlightenment, but lesson learned! Better for someone else to love & enjoy them rather than them being hidden away. They’re meant to be used! Thank you for all the valuable information you share. Becky

Hi Michelle. Enjoyed watching your videos. Just a minor correction: Damier canvas was created in 1888, Monogram canvas was created by his son, George Vuitton in 1896. Damier was then reintroduced in 1996 for the Centennial celebration of the Monogram canvas.
My pochette metis clasp is scratched up in a gnarly way haha. I would love the have the black leather one but now they’re so highly priced. I got my canvas one for 1680 (still obscene) back around 2017
OMG facts about buying the correct size. I grabbed a Berri MM because it zipped and was beautiful - it's so heavy! I never carry it now - it sits in the dustbag because I just cannot carry anything that heavy anymore.
I have made mistakes in the early years, I sold my old Neverfull with the script writing. BIG MISTAKE! Very helpful video!!! I had to return my Pochette Metis because it was just in terrible shape after one year of minimal use.
I got the Iéna which reminds me of a neverfull but it does have a zipper. It’s discontinued now tho. And I agree… I’m a taller woman and I cannot force a bag to be crossbody…very uncomfortable.
Hey! Thanks for the video! I am in Doha Qatar this week, that’s why it took longer then usual for me to watch your video. The S lock is not nice at all. The newer bags with the magnet lock feels much better. Regarding neverful and pickpocketing. I wouldn’t take a neverful somewhere with a lot of people. If I’d only have one bag I wouldn’t choose the neverful. The pallas bag is in my opinion the best LV bag. I hope that you’ll have a great day!

I want to want the Neverfull!! 🤣 I use totes for work and travel but am one of those that want a zipper for security. Plot twist!! I have my Pochett Métis for approximately 6 months and I don't use it so as not to damage it and I just realized that it is cracked from the glassing just like the picture you showed 😭
Do you recommend after a year or so conditioning vachetta leather so it doesn’t dry out do you also recommend conditioning the monogram canvas? If it is stored with air paper and dust bag by still should you condition

I loved that bag when I saw it in store! I went back the next morning to buy it and it was sold out. I thought it was beautiful, sit at the perfect spot for a crossbody, was just big enough for all the essentials, and went with everything. Plus no vachetta/patina to worry about. I did see a few complaints about the closure popping open over time, but it didn't seem to happen to everyone.

No, not all flap bags…just the Métis for some unknown reason! But I would check the wear on flap bags, it’s not unusual. Any point of creasing on any bag will break down the glazing over time. I will say the glazing on my vintage St Cloud is way superior than what is on the current pochette Métis!
Classic shape, beautiful materials, it’s a bag that you can use forever and it’s more luxurious than canvas. I feel like with anything, if you’re still thinking about it a month later, then you must really like it! I say go with what you like and not what other people do!

Alma is not a crossbody bag , not at all! Looks and feels horrible!Speedy is not crossbody bag ( At least for me ) looks weird. My daughter told me “ speedy looks ugly , it’s a handbag not crossbody bag”
I want this one. It doesn't matter where they are manufactured. It depends on the craftsman and quality inspection. In the past 3 years, my family and I have sold two bags from #eastlisa
