I hear ya driver . I'm on the governor at 65 . When I notice a driver that is trying to pass me doing 66 or 67 I back out so they can expedite . No problem from me . I'm pushing buttons for crying out loud . Too bad other drivers don't have that kind of common courtesy .

I probably shouldn't admit to this, but we used to blow a little cement powder in our tachographs and there'd be enough moisture in the air that it would eventually gum up the tach and make it read low, or not at all. Dave

The company I'm talking about had one White with a 220 Cummins and a ten speed that I was driving one evening when I took my then wife for a ride, Hamilton to Richmond Hill. We used to have to go out the west end of the city because my boss refused to pay the toll on the Skyway bridge. From York boulevard to Guelph line was uphill all the way so getting to high gear with a full load often took that whole distance. I had just hit high gear when I got pulled over by Markel and his first question was "do you know how fast you were going. I told him the speedo said 53 mph to which he made a face. "Try again" he said. I told him the squealer agreed with the speedo and that was the truth. He got a bit angry and said "when you passed that Greyhound in the showoff lane you must have figured you were going faster than 53. I asked him how fast I was going according to him and he told me 76 mph. The next day I told my boss because I was sure he would find out unless he already knew and he said that he was sorry he didn't give me a heads up and that that truck had been clocked by radar at 98 miles per hour. I know it sounds kind of bullshitty that a 220 Cummins can do that bub Bob was not given to bullshit.

im still single and like to tour canada and the usa, if i do end up getting my a/z ill prop ask for south florida runs, from Midwestern Ontario my family business can struggle in the winter months i would rather take a lay off and drive class 8, i bought a sim driving game for trucking and have wheels peddles and shifter ill post pics on the twitter page, im also in one of the most expensive hobbies, radio controlled car racing

Everyone is different. Maybe you'll enjoy CR England. I would try to stay with them for a year or whenever your contract expires and then assess whether or not you want to stay on. As far as the jake is concerned, use it sparingly on slippery roads, especially when empty and always use it on mountain grades like Parleys. We have a few videos on how to use the jake brake. Check them out!
