We were on the Prima Feb 25 to March 5 and agree the Indulge Food Hall had a great selection and fast service. And the rooms are beautiful and spacious (in cruise ship standards). We loved our cruise. Thanks for all your comments and information.

I did the Prima the week after you ! Stayed in Studios for singles. New design fantastic and the common area beautiful.

I booked a nine day NCL cruise to Alaska in October on one of the older ships for the same price as a seven day cruise on a much newer NCL ship. I went with all the free at sea items plus air and transfer. October is the end of the Alaskan season but what the heck and a nine day cruise is always better than a seven day cruise. The ship is the Sun and I got a great deal on an inside cabin. BTW. The recent updates look great on this ship. The cruise sets sail on my 81st birthday, all I have to do now is to live that long 😂😂😂😂

We did the Prima in January. The balcony chairs were awesome. Unfortunately, I compared the Club Suite to previous Club Suites and the Prima bathroom was smaller. One sink compared to two; full body shower jets as compared to just one shower head. We like NCL, but Prima was a one and done for me. I think I like the bigger ships with less "dead-ends". I appreciate you both for all your updates and information.

I totally agree with all your comments. We were on the prima with our grown up kids the week after Christmas. We loved Indulge and had breakfast there daily plus lunch several times. We have a 30 year old severely autistic son who doesn't like to wait for food. Indulge was wonderful with very fast service. In addition we had lunch several times at Local Bar and Grill, where they serve great burgers (my son's favorite meal). There was a waiter there that immediately saw that my son was special and needed food quickly and without asking he brought him a plate of delicious french fries in 2 minutes. We never had problems with shows on the main theater because they reserve seats for people on the Haven, and they release them 5 minutes before the show if no one shows up. I enjoy your videos. Keep on the good work.

We head out Monday to Panama for a 12 day cruise on NCL Jewel. They canceled Nicaragua stop, of course NCL is trying to keep all the money folks paid for excursions and port fees by not refunding to your credit card. They put in it in our onboard account which means standing in line at customer service to get our money back. Sadly some people won’t know you have to do that and NCL will keep all that money.

Yes! Yes! Yes! We thought the same about the Prima when we went on it from NY to Bermuda in October. Yes being a new ship it had its problems, but overall we LOVED it!!! It felt more intimate and yet so easy to meet up with new friends. Those loungers & swings in the local were a hit. And the food court. I could go on and on. ❤🎉😊

I absolutely agree with Jenny regarding the cabins on the Prima. Even the studios are designed for comfort, style, and maximum space (and a separate bathroom). I hope going forward NCL designs all their cabins with these features.

I also liked Prima, we went in January. The only complaint was the spa area where you had to go down a staircase. Beautiful but we go to the spa because we have aches and pains, stairs are not welcome. Plus the price went up to 300 per person, has always been 240 before. I am going on the Escape in a few weeks and the spa is 300 there too. The other thing they need to fix is the lines waiting for booking your next cruise, or buying a cruise next, two different days waited over an hour. There has to be a better way to do that. My only other complaint, not enough shopping on the ship. They have like six jewelry stores, and those poor staff were just standing there most of the time doing nothing. We both thought it was a beautiful ship, will go again, can't wait for Vivia to come out. Totally agreed with your top five things you liked.

I was on the Prima in December 2022, I must say that I loved the room and the balcony also. Indulge e Food Hall had the best food 😊. I also liked the seating in the theatre.

Are there overload alarms on the elevators? That was our favorite event on the Dawn, see if we could pile enough people in to set the alarms off. Looks like we are headed to Galveston this winter to cruizze on the Prima. Jenny sold us!

I agree with both of you. I truly enjoyed the Prima. The non-smoking casino was great.

We just got back from being on the Pr1ma as NCL spells it. We agree with most of what you stated. But was disappointed that Light Balance wasn’t on there as promised when we booked . The staff were over worked , especially our cabin steward . Who did his best to take care of 22 large cabins as you stated. We had numerous employees state that they couldn’t wait to finish their contacts. Plus they canceled Grand Cayman while all the other ships stayed and enjoyed the sunny day . Gave us back $18 for the port charges. Gee thanks NCL, what about the excursion we booked independently and said they saw our ship and the other ships stayed for a beautiful day . NCL just wanted to keep our money onboard. I agree!

The Starbucks was never open! I admit that the noodles bar food area was fabulous! My wife and I ate there often. It cost me $300 for sparkling water!

Thanks for posting Tony, and thanks for posting your Prima walk through. I've seen some pretty negative reviews regarding this ship, but I would trust your review more. What I don't care for in watching your walkthrough is how the Prima has one too many little sections and corridors. It seems like you can get lost quite easily. Judging from Jenny's likes it sounds like the pros outweigh the cons. I guess like anything, one has to try it for themselves before making a judgement. I've never been on NCL so I'm not biased to the old layouts. That can be a good thing.

I thought the ship was beautiful; the cabins were spacious, or at least it seemed that way because they did not have a lot of cabinets going across; however, some of the venues were small, especially their buffet section, it always seemed so crowded. Looking toward to the Viva.

I believe that NCL has one of the best price points if you like everything in the Free at Sea offer. We now primarily use NCL, but still like RCL too. Do want to try Prima at least once and Virgin.

Are mocktails included with the soda drink package or just the regular alcohol drink package? My kids like piña colada mocktails. I also like them when I’m trying to slow down on the alcohol.

Hmm...I have watched a few videos on Prima and didn't get all the warm and fuzzies...except the Indugle Food Hall. I'd definitely enjoy that.

NCL Bliss and Encore both have trash cans at the elevators BUT they are almost hidden, they are just a small silver flap with no markings to indicate its for trash.

I’ve often wondered why they didn’t put trash cans around. Makes sense to do so.

I have two questions as someone waiting to go out our first sail. What type of sodas do they have Coke or Pepsi products? Also, how much is just a glass/bottle of Bud Light? We drink a lot of soda but very little alcohol.

Can't remember which ship, but in the theater, the arm-rest can be 'opened' to expose a cup-holder. Without a cup-holder, guests place the empty glasses on the floor where other guest may kick them.

I understand that compliance with the online muster supposedly was an issue. The cruise lines obviously have more and more technology available. Why don’t they simply keep your room locked and only release the lock after you do your online safety briefing? People would have incentive to do it in advance.

I thought the seating in the theater was tight, like a small theater seat and the padding was not that great, but we were on deck six.

I been on prima but disagree on some things storage was small in my room, also no lighting outside but I was on transatlantic, I trouble with the shows not seating for all at shows to many small venue for music at night but places with room no music

I also loved my cabin and loved the Indulge food hall, but overall did not like the flow and vibe of this ship. But I agree with the other positive points.

Our last cruise was in '19 on the NCL Epic and it was HORRIBLE. Food was subpar, staff weren't very friendly, they had less elevators than other ships of comparable size and the elevators were smaller. It was our first time on a NCL cruise and we vowed to never go on another NCL cruise again. But watching this video we wouldn't say no to going on the Prima

The Prima is a one and done for me, some parts of the ship were beautiful, but the atrium is a disaster and they layout dysfunctional at best. The food was great, the crew was great, as always but I won't be returning to Prima or Viva. Next 2 book on Breakaway and Breakaway Plus class ships, far better design.

I thought the buffet was too small and the ship just had dead ends. Plus no central location for everyone to meet and have entertainment. Didn’t like the ship for those reasons. I agree the room was great!

They definitely got the pool area wrong everybody knows everybody on the ship pretty much goes to the pool deck they definitely got that wrong because the areas way too small they need to make that a kitty area
