Ala'a is a Palestinian woman who dreamed to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and kept going until she made her dream come true. After failing two parts of the CPA Exam twice, having wife and mom responsibilities in addition to her full-time job were strong reasons for her to quit her CPA journey. However, Ala'a managed to overcome all the obstacles and stress she had in her life to pass the CPA Exam and become a CPA. After realizing she was about to lose credits for two CPA parts, Ala'a took a brave decision to get out of her comfort zone and give the remaining exams a last try. She had to endure the pain of leaving her newborn baby to travel to sit for the exams until she finally passed the exams to become a CPA.
Today, Ala'a helps CPA candidates pass the CPA Exam by motivating, supporting and educating them.

I just arrived in Arizona / USA from South Africa, I am a Professional Accountant in practice, I have 15 years of work experience as public accountant, Auditor and General Tax Practitioner South Africa. I would like to Convert my South African qualifications to a US CPA. Why not the CPA results declared immediately soon after we submit the exam? Why there’s a timeline taken to declare the results? Please let us know.

Dear Madam, I am an international student, studying internationally. Do we need AACSB/ACBSP accounting accreditation to be eligible for the Uniform CPA Exam? How about the regional accreditation like SACS and WACS? Thanks for reading, looking forward to your reply...

Do you think it will be best to go for my masters first before the CPA?

Not necessary, the CPA is better than the Masters and you can pass it without having a Masters Degree.

MyCPA Excellence in shaa allah, I’m just worried to as my credits because an undergraduate is just 120 hours. I’m currently in Wisconsin and they don’t allow outside education according to their state board

MyCPA Excellence back in my country that’s The Gambia I was doing my ACCA and I used to work as an external auditor for PKF before moving to the US. So I think I can handle the CPA

@@zandeemusgrove9487 No, thats not too long some people have been out of school for 10 years and study for the CPA Exam after that. Don't worry, you can study for it easily
